I figured she'd remember us, when she had to carry her child back to her room because of the hot concrete.
I still have that shoe. I put it in my man cave up on a trophy shelf with other trophies. My wife loves to tell the story when someone asks me what that is on the trophy shelf.

I confess that the visit with my folks went well and was enjoyable. It was nice to have them visit me instead of the other way around and it was great to see them. Odd off color remarks aside, it was great. 2
