the "classics" aren't always that good really. its mostly just people looking back with rose tainted glasses
I consider these classics from the 80's. I think many of them stand the test of time and would still be enjoyable for generations. I am wondering if these are the movies you had in mind when thinking of classic 80's movies?

@MeeseeksAndDestroy I'm just curious which ones of those you have seen, I know you already answered for some.0 -

I've seen more of those than I thought, and I was born in the late 80's lol

Goodness. I’ve only seen 9 of them, and hardly remember those.1

Raising Arizona may be one of the best Cohen brother's movies and Nicolas Cage movies either has made. It is a comedy.2

basically i think there's a lot of great stuff from the 80's. I don't think the comedy genre in particular has ever gotten better since then at least. but i also just don't like it when people act like there's nothing great out there anymore either.
Yeah, there are still a lot of good movies out there being made or made recently. The Hangover comes to mind for comedy. Wet Hot American Summer would be another one.
I like a lot more comedies that have come out more recently then in the past. It's interesting to see how comedies have changed over time. For example, comedies from the 60's aren't the same kind of funny as comedies from now.1 -

Would you be angry if I told you I've only seen 19 of those movies?
No. I just hope that you are able to watch some of them, if not all of them. They are all entertaining to watch.0 -
