I buy fruit pops that are 25 cal if I need something sweet but don't have many calories left. Mini chocolate candies for if I am craving chocolate. If I have more calories left I have enjoyed the Yasso greek frozen yogurt bars that come in all kinds of flavors (I like chocolate and mint chip). If I have many calories left because I ate a low cal lunch and dinner, I will splurge a little for dessert...last night was a grilled peach with a little cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt. I am someone that tends to crave something sweet at night so I make sure to have options based on the calories I have left at the end of the day.0

Everyone's been so calm, I feel better enough to say, yes, please still have dessert. What's life without dessert? I'm reducing calories again but I'm still going to fit in my treats. Because yum.0

I am a huge fan of Moirs instant pudding, the box kind that you mix with milk. You can eat the whole box yourself if you plan it right (450mls) as it is pretty low calorie if made with fat free or low fat milk. Not sure what brands are in the rest of the world though, or how it compares.
Sometimes instant pudding is my entire dinner *evil grin*
On more sensible days, I share it with my boyfriend and have regular food too.0 -

There are some super good non-dairy versions too - Coconut Bliss makes some very decadent flavors like Chocolate Peanut Butter, Dark Chocolate, Amaretto Fudge, Vanilla Bean..... A single serving of one of them is very fulfulling as a dessert and fits right into the calorie goal.0 -

I'm not allowed to eat chocolate, ice cream, pastry, cakes, biscuits because of high cholesterol....I can live without pastry, cakes, biscuits and even ice cream but CHOCOLATE and chocolate desserts....its just too cruel!0

You don't have to quit dessert. Just replace what you'd normally get for a healthier option. On my high carbs days, I get smoothie, or frozen yogurt. Also FlapJacked muffins0

For anyone with a Wegmans, they make cheesecake....with Greek yogurt...so each slice is 150 cal. So good, creamy, airy....that's my go-to treat/dessert right now because, well, portion control!

Check out Pinterest for mug cakes! I have never made one because lazy, but they look so good! They will have a lot of different low cal desserts, too, I'm sure!0

Lots of the B&J's are high, though. Talenti is more often closer to 200, and there are some other gelatos that are even less. B&J's frozen yogurt is less too.
I'm obsessed with mixing two flavors, so I'll usually do a lower cal one with the B&J's if I want a higher cal B&J one, to average out not much more over 200-220. (For some reason that's what I usually end up with at the end of the day, calorie-wise.)0 -

You are misunderstanding how this works. It's not as if people who are having dessert every day are gorging on it. It's having a serving that fits into the calorie goal. When I'm not exercising, like right now, I have my three meals, with a snack, during the day, and still have room for dessert at the end of the day. It's about choices and portion sizes.0 -

@suziecue20 , cocoa has most of the fat removed. I'm still rooting for you to find a cholesterol friendly chocolate.
