    Successes/struggles this week: Week 1. I gained .8 pounds. I exercised 6 days out of 7 and I was under my calorie goal + calories burned every day except 2 days and not over by more than 160 calories either day. So I honestly don’t know what happened. It has got to be TOM, but this has never dragged on for 2 weeks. I’m starting to get very discouraged. I’ve passed up tons of holiday party foods with not results. This is just the kind of thing that throws me into gorging. I’m going to try as hard as I did last week, next week, but if I’m not down by at least 3 pounds, I’m throwing in the towel and enjoying the holidays.

    Successes/struggles this week: Week 2: Ok I’m not down 3 pounds, but I am down .2. Yippee! NOT! Can’t give up, especially now. If I give up now I’ll gain 10 pounds over the next two weeks alone. Stay focused… that’s my goal.

    Successes/struggles this week: I've increased my walking time quite a bit this month with no chronic fatigue flare ups. From 20 min to almost an hour. I'm really happy about that.

    Successes/struggles this week: I have a sprained ankle, so I can't move much at all. My doc recommended I lose weight and monitor my calories very closely, so here I am!

    Successes/struggles this week: The week started good. Wednesday is when things started to go bad. I woke up my right ear felt off. Still went to the gym. Thursday my ear was really plugged but I went to the gym. I should have not gone. Friday symptoms the same. I went to a walk in clinic, they said it was ear wax build up. So I took the ear wax removal. Saturday they used an ear syringe. Found out it was the ear bud cushion that was dislodged deep in the ear canal. It was not ear wax.

    Saturday also started to sneeze, and have runny nose. This morning I have a mild cold :(
    I am hoping I can shake this cold off by Wednesday.

    I also did not have time to go the gym Friday, Saturday because of balance was off.
    Now that i am sick, do to the cold weather, I am not sure when I will make my return to the gym.

    Successes/struggles this week: Another smooth week! I'm constantly reminding myself of what it felt like to be in my highest weight and what I want to look like a year from now, so staying under my calories wasn't hard. I did crave sugar but I was able to fit Nutella into my calories twice this week, so that satisfied me enough. :)

    Successes/struggles this week: Out of the blue, I had to have a pacemaker installed, so I can't exercise beyond walking for a week or two, to avoid jolting or sweating. Didn't see that coming! But I cut calories some more to account for inactivity, and I'm still on track for Jan. 1. I should be back to normal exercise by then.
