So many references to the creepy old man. Good lord people! I am pushing 50. Does this mean I am but a few years away before I become "that guy" Yikes! :noway:
You might already be. Most creepy old guys don't realize they are. I'm one of the few that does.0 -
that's kinda creepy. It's probably more of a feeling of the person than his age. I once remember a woman on a treadmill next to me who kept shouting instructions to herself to go faster and calling out her distance every few metres. It was kinda strange and rather off putting :-/0

I have not had any problem with semi-nudists, but there is this guy that works out at my gym that looks like a creepy porn star! He has a huge handlebar mustache and a huge mullet, and he works out in short jean shorts and a tight tank top. He works hard, and gets all sweaty, so you can just imagine what that looks like! We are friendly to each other, but I have to chuckle a little in my head every time I see him.
OMG I am dying. I imagine him to look like the neighbor in Office Space.0 -
I don't get freaked out by any of this just funny how all this talk last weeken on here and than a pipe burst up the street causing the utility company to shut off all water on my block till fixed so I headed up to the gym for an early workout and a much needed shower. I spent a lot more time in the locker room than usual. Just so happens there is a chair assisted aerobics class on Mondays, also known as brittle bones aerobics. There was a gang of them just hanging out naked for well over 45 minutes. I know I didn't work out for a whole hour, but I know it was atleast 40 minutes and the same guys were in ther pre workout, post workout/pre shower and post shower. Some were chatting, few watching tennis on the tv, one combing his hair the whole time. It was a cliche of almost every previous post minus the blow drying balls part, (I almost wanted to say is anyone else using this blow drier to dry their balls or can I use it but chickened out). Then I figure it out as a group of teens came in from playing basketball. They came around the corner rowdy as teens always are and talking too loud for most adults tastes. Then they saw the plethora of old men balls. Suddenly they Got to their lockers ASAP talked subtley among themselves changed in lighting speed, or just grabbed bags and left. All i had left to do was pack my shampo up, fold my work out cloths into my bag, and toss my towl in the hamper but most the young guys walking in left before me. It's a combination of "I'm old I don't give a F*&% anymore that I'm naked, and if I'm naked little punks won't want to hang around." It's young people repelent I guess.
I was reading this post and had to laugh at the "brittle bones aerobics". Then my husband shot me a look--like "what are you doing?" I love mfp community so much.
My creeper is an elderly lady who hangs out in the locker room Friday night--she's anorexic and sits on the bench naked and lotions herself from her toes to her clavicle. I try not to spend too much time in there but usually hang out for about 5 minutes to catch my wind after weight lifting before getting my cardio done. She's sometimes still there after I am done with cardio.0 -
