I like the show. I am picking up a lot of good tips. Next week is the last week they will have the coaches. Supposedly they are on their own. I am going to give it a chance. Regardless of good or bad, I am a sucker for these weight loss shows. They always have something I can take away from it for sure. I find some common threads I see in all of the plans. One being the importance of eating LESS process foods, and working in foods you love within reason, etc. I will be sticking it out until the end..,.. the show is definitely a keeper for me. I hope more watch it so it will have a season 2 :D

This show is hysterical and filled with diet woo. The diet expert who told her dieter she would spank her fanny and the subsequent look on the dieter's face was classic.

    Anyone watching this?

I have been watching, pretty crazy. Some of the diets are realistic, they others are a bit weird.

I'm watching it and the biggest loser. I find that the shows help keep me motivated about losing weight.

Same here. I know for the most part they are unrealistic but they either way I can identify with a lot of the challenges these people face for sure. I face them every day and that is another good thing about this show, it is focused on helping the contestants find something that works for them for life and they are not off on their own little island away from the rest of the world. So if they find something for them for life their chances of maintaining their weight loss is much better also.

I am going to try boiling sweet potatoes so they have less sugar as one of the coaches suggested and speed it up in the grocery store also. As far as I am concerned so far this is the best one yet because they give a whole lot more tips we the consumer can take away and try to implement in our lives,

I'm glad Latasha switched judges. It's sad that she wasted so much time with the taskercise lady bc now she only gets 2 or 3 weeks with her expert.

I am watching is and the show on A & E called Fit to Fat to Fit. The Fit to Fat ot Fit is an amazing show. The trainer gains weight to loose it with their client. Different trainer each week with a different client.

The first show was quite intriquing and the transformation was amazing on bot the trainer's gain then loss and of course the primary goal to get the obese guy to goal. I just wish they had of explained a bit more in detail the diet strategy and included his family along with the struggle although his wife lost 60 pounds too during the 4 months.

And I am in to Watch Jazmine win it all on My DIet is Better than yours, although my husband wants to loose his last 10 minutes eating fat! He rally liked the stuff this dude was getting to eat. LOL

Because this is for rapid weight loss the exercise is absoultely needed and because the losses were not so great in ep 6, you can see that this part prevented the extra non losses although the dude on Wild Diet ate out every other night and still lost weight...

Yeh, like every other show they over emphasize exercise and under emphasize diet. Also they simply measure total weight, and not percent body fat, which really tells you which diet is better!

"Fanny" means something different in the UK! I take it we are not talking S&M pornography? (I have just drunk a bottle of 7% proof cider, so may not be posting with appropriate judgement, though I am checking hard for spelling and punctuation; "judgement" DOES need that middle "e", regardless of what spell check says.)

Lol I'm like "what"!!! And then I remembered that there are a lot of US people on here! Lol fanny! Spank our fanny! Lol I read this as spank my pissy! Lol made my night

I'm curious as to what kind of advertisers were talked into paying for a show like this.

I'm really not into "reality shows" myself, much. It all seems so...dramatized and heavily edited. Food Network's the channel for me. Cooking shows are where it's at!
Also, a high-fiber nutrient dense diet is the way to go. Have a side of delicious, with those vitamins and minerals.

And I think I heard in order to possibly be in the running to win, they have to complete a half marathon. I have watched several episodes out of curiosity and it's not terrible but I'm certainly not jumping onto one of their programs! They do work with contestants on building strength, stamina, and getting past mental blocks too!

It's a typical "reality" show, so, I imagine typical advertisers, but I watch it on Hulu and don't see any ads.

Extreme Weight Loss and The Biggest Loser get plenty of viewers. I'm sure they had no trouble selling the commercial slots for this show. Diet is big business. It's why we're all here. We're interested.

I think this one's not coming back, though. They seem to have it condensed down so much like they're trying to get it done. I think next week is already the finale, right?

The on-screen diet tips are pretty lame. "Sweating removes toxins which aids weight loss." Ha.

Premise was cool, but the diets they chose were stupid. Would've liked to see a cico vs atkins vs paleo vs iifym vs clean eating showdown.

I totally agree! Who is going to go to grocery store and squat, and do exercises and people will be looking at you like you are crazy. The coach and her program was not a good fit for her at all. Latasha is funny too because she will have to lose the make up to really exercise in the zone. This past week was the 1st time I actually saw her sweating! lol

I like almost all the contestants except for Taj. She just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Well there's the low carb dude whose lost the most weight so far and the Superfood Swap diet client, which seems like an IIFYM because Jasmine talked about getting to eat cake and stuff.

Watched it one time. I felt I needed to go to confession afterwards. ( FYI, I'm not even Catholic. ) That show is a total waste of time..

I love this show for pure entertainment, not to use as a reference for my personal weightloss. Some of the "diets" are kind of funny be the trainers seem to be full of it haha but other seem to be legit
