Testify girl, I can't stand leg days, but if I skip I feel worse so back to the squat rack we go0
-
It's worth it for the #squatbooty!0

legs day is a war you can't win.0

Love my squat and deadlift days.
Nothing like nailing your reps.0 -
Deadlifts are my favorite. Hurts so good!0
-
I do full body workouts but love love squats and deads0
-
I love squatting. I mean, I hate it but after Im done I love it.
No... I just love it. lol0 -
Occasionally I dread leg day but usually half way through my first set of squats, I start to really get into it.0

I dread most of my workouts prior to my warm up taking effect. Goes something like this:
We'll see how the warm up goes and decide if we continue from there;
That wasn't so bad, oh the main program is starting, let's see how the first half goes;
Well I'm hot and sweaty might as well finish up;
Cool down stretches feel soooooo good.
Workout complete!
There that was pretty good, glad I did this.0 -

You forgot later that day:
I don't feel to bad I bet I could have done one or two more reps or 10 to 20 more lbs.
Remembering a bit later how it burned on that last rep and you barely made the lift.

Core killed me at the gym, overhead lifts too, legs? I grew up walking everywhere though.0

Leg day is my favorite! But I have an upper back/neck problem, so that makes sense I really do enjoy lifting pain. I just hate pain pain0
-
I like heavy leg day...NOT hypertrophy leg stuff though. It feels like cardio.0

I love leg day.
The day after leg day, I do not love so much.1 -
I actually love it. I superset a lot of my workouts. The hour goes by pretty fast for me.0

I love being sore after leg day!!1

Yep you're right. But 20 extra pounds would be pushing it for me. I usually don't "up my weight" more than 10 at a step. It starts to burn with two or three to go. If not, then up it goes.1 -
every workout day is leg day. I'm doing squats, push press, and deadlifts today after I eat dinner.
I'm not in pain afterwards either, so why would I hate it? I expect to do 3x10x232.5lb squats, 3x5x135lb push press, and 1x5x270lb deadlift.0 -

Leg day today:
2x12x290 on the seated leg press, 1x10x310 as a follow up (to 90 degrees each time)
3x10x165 on the leg extension
3x10x145 on the hamstring curl.
3x10x255 on the calf raise
On leg day, I don't do any hills settings on the cardio bike...just keep to 30 minutes.0 -
I'll take legday over armday or absday anyday! Something about jello legs is way more satisfying than not being able to lift a coffee cup the next day. Lol

This.
That.0 -
I enjoy leg day because I have strong lower body. Arm day is a drag because I got weak upper body.0

I'm just recovering from 8 months of bilateral tendonitis in my arms
every workout day has been leg day
thighs of steel, arms like Olive Oyl0 -
Don't do a 'leg day'. Work some part of your legs every time you hit the gym. The death pain following leg day is caused by infrequent training. Think about it, if you are doing a typical bro split -chest, back, legs, shoulders, arms, all of your upper body muscles are getting hit at least 2x per week, so no one complains about a terrible day after any of the other days. However, if you try to fit all of your leg muscles (>50% of your muscle mass at least) into just one day, the next day is sure to suck1

"Leg day" isn't at least twice a week?1
-
Leg days are my favorite. I work them twice a week every week as well as my knee stability work to keep it going after the last knee injury. Am I sore after them? Sure. Do I regret parking on the 4th level of the parking garage since I'm horrified of elevators? Sure. Hahaha. But dang is it worth it. (My work has a gym and I park on the 4th level every day just for fun....). 20 years of hockey made me love leg workouts though.1

Leg day got me like
