Oreos: The greatest packaged cookie of all time

It was decided in another thread that a discussion around Oreos is in order so here goes.
First, the original Oreos are perfect. No other variety comes close. They have the perfect ratio of cream to cookie and the cookies 'n cream flavor is perfect just the way it is.
Now, if you're at someone else's house and all they have is double stuff, the good news is that while these are entirely subpar to the original, they are still fabulously delicious in a distant second place. The same can be said for peanut butter and brownie batter.
Also, Jugg is wrong because mint Oreos are disgusting sacrilege.

Whoa, the peanut butter and brownie batter did not work for me. And I don't like mint so....
The original, obviously, and the reeses were really good and cinnamon bun works heated up. The oreo thins rock because you get more for the same calories. The same with the oreo bites. Currently I still have the golden wafer birthday cake and gingerbread to try.5 -
They took away my Cakesters. I will never forgive. Although, the PB ones may lessen the hurt in my soul.8

Oreos are horrendously overrated. Not bad, but the fact that I have a pack on my desk which is only half finished while having bought about 20 different packets since I acquired the packet originally.... it speaks volumes....7

Ingredients
SUGAR, UNBLEACHED ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE {VITAMIN B1}, RIBOFLAVIN {VITAMIN B2}, FOLIC ACID), PALM AND/OR CANOLA OIL, COCOA (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI), HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CORNSTARCH, LEAVENING (BAKING SODA AND/OR CALCIUM PHOSPHATE), SALT, SOY LECITHIN, VANILLIN - AN ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR, CHOCOLATE.CONTAINS WHEAT, SOY.
two cookies of 20 grams contain 13 grams of sugar. Honestly, I don't see anything yummy in here, and I know Oreos taste artificial and not very rich.22 -
"Clean" eater alert^^
I feel like I should add that I haven't had an Oreo in months. Ice cream FTW!26 -

Best part about Oreos? They're vegan, so they can fit basically any diet!18

I will do more depraved things for Gingerbread Oreos than I would for a Klondike bar9

So let me get this straight. You are saying normal oreos, aka "diet" oreos, are subpar to the perfection that is the Double Stuff?
You are dead to me @Carlos_421. D-E-A-D.

They do include the toxic ingredient sodium bicarbonate. You may be onto something.10 -
Oreos schmoreos - it's all about:
(I mean, not that I'm going to turn down an oreo, except peppermint. Those can gtfo)3 -
I may or may not have purchased two packages of Oreos last week based on a similar thread.
One: Original (still the best...)
Two: Birthday Cake (at the behest of my juggernaut juniors...they were meh...certainly they don't hold up to mint flavor)2 -
