    Hi everyone--
I'm a little late to the party, but am so happy to find like-minded folks. I bought my first bike since childhood this spring and i love it. My rides are usually somewhere between 15 and 20 miles, taking it slow and easy. Can't do more right now, trying to delay knee replacements for as long as I can.
i don't remember other rides, but here's one at least

    July 6 - 21 miles (122 mins)

Very excited: I am now training for the biking leg of a team mini-tri at our gym, so I'm focusing on getting the best time for 10 miles. Not so exciting: I tried to bike outside a few days ago and my tube popped, so I don't have any outdoor miles yet =(

July Goal: 150 miles indoors, 25 miles outdoors
July Miles to Date: 53 miles indoors

July 10----10.5 mi stationary (45 min)
July 8---7 mi stationary (30 min)
July 5---18.5 mi stationary (85 min)
July 3----10 mi stationary (45 min)

Thinking I gotta step it up if I'm going to meet my goal this month. It's either too hot outside or storming or I'm too fatigued. I still don't like riding stationary. Wish I did.

    I'm in!

Just started riding on Father's day. I am really liking it. Awesome form of exercise. I've missed two days riding due to the weather (riding in the rain is bad enough, but a lightning storm is a whole different ball game)

    7/2 - 8.48 miles
    7/3 - 5.95 miles
    7/4 - 0.00 miles

    7/6 - 3.70 miles
    7/7 - 0.00 miles

    7/9 - 6.95 miles
    7/10 - 7.41 miles

Back into riding after many years of being pampered in my car.

First time out nearly killed me, but just bought a nice new road bike (Sensa Trentino SL 2013, 105 Compact group set)

Lunchtime rides at work 8-9 miles & trying to get longer distances in during the evenings and weekends.

Look a bit blobby in the Lycra but the padded bib shorts are something I could not envisage ever being without again.

I made it out and rode 9.9 miles. Does anyone else get insanely frustrated to see that .9? I think that I will go ride laps in my little driveway just to put it at 10 miles even.

    exercise.png

My 5 mile route was actually 4.8 miles, but I added passing my house, going to the corner, and coming back, which adds that 0.2 miles to make it an even 5 mile route.

7/11 - 5.2 miles outside. I was bitten by a dog on today's ride. Not bad, but I had to pedal really hard when two dogs came after me. Cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol and I should be fine. One of the dogs on my old bike route was killed today because it bit somebody (I had to change routes because two dogs kept trying to bite me). We have leash laws, but people don't seem to care.

So I'm the new guy to cycling I picked up a Gaint hybrid this year and have so far put on 228 miles in the last 4 months.
    Apr 32 miles
    May 36
    June 106
    July so far 54

Longest ride was 28 miles. Aver I bike 18 miles on a sat ride. Latly I have been biking to work which is only 4 miles each way. Think of trying to bike 80 miles in one day wonder if I can do it.

I haven't set a goal yet as prior to this month I hadn't cycled more than once maybe twice a week so wasn't sure what to set. I'd love to say that my goal is 100 miles, but in reality I don't expect to cycle as much the rest of the month as I have this week so I think that might be a little optimistic, sooooo I'm gonna go with 90 miles :-)

    Remaining: 41.7 miles

    Back to back riding days.
7/10 - 22 mile ride to the lakefront with a cycling group from my health club. Oddly, I was the strongest and fastest rider in the group.
7/11 - Fast solo ride of 17 miles in just over an hour. Fastest ride of the year.

Off today because I plan on riding the Bay View Cycling Club Lake Country Classic tomorrow. Not sure if I am up for 65 miles. Might try the 45 mile route. Depending on the heat, should complete it in 3 1/2 hours, 4 hours if it is really hot and/or hilly.

Got my first 90 minute ride in; from this point since I've reached my time goal, my weekly long ride will be an increase in miles/speed, not minutes. Really hoping to hit the greenway this weekend after my hubby fixes my tube!

July Miles to Date: 72.75 miles indoors

    July 12---- 19.75 mi stationary (90 min)

I rode 33.1 miles this morning. It was my longest ride ever. I would really like to make at least one 40 mile ride before I pack my bike away for the winter. (Did I really just mention Winter? It's about 100 degrees outside).

New to this thread but generally cycling between 50 - 70 miles a month.......that's the plan anyway.

Average ride is about 10 - 11 miles which takes around 55 minutes.
