Yeah I hear ya on that. My lower body days include squats so I just know the next day will be painful. Not my favorite days in the gym.0
-
Yeah but then I see people with huge arms and chest and it looks like they are walking on tooth picks, so makes me want to work legs harder0
-
I love leg day0
-
Love the results! Hate being hungry0
-
I like eating. I like leg day, which is why I have leg and lower body programming five days a week.0
-
So gift yourself with 100 extra calories on leg day then...0
-
I said I love leg day but I don't actually have one. I'm doing an intermediate full body 3x a week (Texas method) and squat all 3 days0

Squat hunger is definitley somthing that a lot of people experience. I tend to workout at night so it doesn't bother me as much.0

I adore my squat and deadlift days. I just eat to appetite and then I don't have to deal with hunger. But then, I'm on a very very mild deficit and would rather retain my strength than lose weight quickly (the last two weeks to make sure I made weight for comp was brutal)0

Just eat.
Also legdayeveryday for 46 days in a row.0 -
I train at night, so I don't have that issue0

Leg day is my fav day. I want Carrie Underwood legs!0
-
I squat every workout as well, you never get to hate leg day since every workout is leg day.0

As a cyclist, I love leg days.
Also, there's no worse look than being stacked up top while shuffling around on toothpick legs. Quads, Hams & Calves!!!

Yes this!0 -

Without leg day I'd walk around looking like a roadrunner walking on toothpicks.
I've learned to love it the day of and hate it the day after. Best of both worlds.0 -

I completely agree with this statement! I love leg day, but hate the hunger that comes from it (and fatigue..especially when I do morning leg sessions)0 -

Yeah, definitely impressive.0 -
what is this "leg day" of which you speak?
I thought every day was "leg" day?!?!0 -
I used to hate leg day until I started seeing quad separation. Now looking at other guys legs I get excited for squats. So many guys have developed upper bodies then the second you see their legs you can instantly tell they never work them. It's really kind of lazy. But yeah I always find I look much leaner after legs day. Even if I eat extra and drink loads of water.0

with a squat like you have going on in your picture there- I bet you love leg day.
that's pretty. just saying.0 -

I find the best way to get the tear drop and separation is ATG front squats or ATG high bar squats since they are more quad dominant. Low bar squats are great for rear chain.0 -
I dont have a designated leg day anymore; squats every day.
But back when I studied dance, on days when I had 2-3 hrs pointe ballet id be pretty hungry; not sure if it was from the cardio or leg muscle part of it.0 -
I like leg day, and I like to eat. Win-win.0

Leg days are my favorite!0
