    Question for everyone...
Does anyone take rest days from walking and if so how often?

I have my rest days forced on me when the kids ae off school... Other than that my days depend on what i need to do and i work around it and do what i can when i can

Hi, I'm just joining this challenge today. I got back on the WL journey and tracking on Sunday. I've been using my feet as my mode of transportation whenever possible since Sunday and its going very well. I'm tracking every bite, every day, and moving so much more! I've only done one "walk for the sake of walking" vs going somewhere this week, looking to increase that. I've had PHENOMENAL results in the past w walking!

To be honest all i do is walk and cycle... Should i get down to 190lb i might concider taking to running, but for now ill continue my fast marches

I don't but if I am sick or in pain, I just walk as much as I can. I can always make up my daily steps when I feel better.

I do. They are the days that I don't work my 2nd job.
On my rest days I have started making myself get off the couch more though. So I average 2,000 to 4,000 on rest days. It's a big improvement over the 100 to 2,000 a few weeks ago.

A few months ago, I used to rest one day, but now I just walk everyday that I can. Since walking is something we should be doing every day anyway, I just keep on going.

Note: if you are walking, strenuous and intense, then rest would probably be advisable.

It's not a fail, you tracked your steps. That is the important thing.

It got cold here too we are getting snow OH JOY! LOL I am so ready for spring. But that is why I walked the way I did last night my building has 2 floors with stairs on both ends there are 2 parts I have to walk outside but both have a roof so I don't have to walk in the rain or snow unless it's really bad. Don't know why insist think about it sooner.
