Is it normal for hourly's to not get benefits?

    If you're under 40hrs/week yes

It all depends on the employer and if you work full time hours or not.

I work 40 hours/week. I just emailed the payroll people to see if they know. The HR lady didn't do a great job of explaining things to me, and now I'm in a different location so she's not "my" lady anymore. I doubt I'll be travelling any, but a mental health day here and there would be nice haha

    Yep no benefits. Cool.

Do they employ more than like 11 people? I'm pretty sure healthcare at least is required for full time employees

    Thanks Obama

I never questioned my ability to correctly identify images of everyday things until CAPTCHA started gaslighting the underlying definition of things like cars, grass, or street signs leaving me still wondering if the poles are considered part of the sign or not.

Hershey's should sell animal-shaped peanut butter candies. "Reese's Species."

I had a thought a few years ago. I had put a bottle of water in my bag, "oh no" I thought to myself "what if the water leaks out of the bottle?" "Don't worry" another part of my brain thought "you have an umbrella in your bag, nothing will get wet". Random thought or just a blonde moment??

They should put "You are one in a million" in literally one of every million fortune cookies.

Mall cops (or rent-a-cops in general) are basically low-level mercenaries.

A zombie apocalypse sounds even worse when you consider all those smoke detectors beeping for battery changes.

If plants made gargling noises when being watered, a rainy day would be the most uncomfortable and awkward thing ever.

While "don't you dare" is grammatically fine, "do not you dare" just sounds plain wrong.

We don't have to worry about AI taking over the world because we have that "I am not a robot" check box thing on the internets.

Now that Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Scott Weiland and Kurt Cobain are all gone, the chorus of Pearl Jam's "Alive" sounds a bit like Eddie Vedder gloating.

Oh I love Cards Against Humanity. I don't play much since my BFF moved out of state. I'll have to check out Joking Hazard.

I think that ChitChat has been hijacked by robots lately or, possibly, just one robot with 10 profiles
