I started running in June by October I was running a mile in 17 mins. Now I can run a mile in 13 mins, it takes time for sure. I couldn't run 30 seconds when I started. I get those looks...wow, YOU run? lmao Yes...I run.

You may also want to consider running with a weight vest or really just wearing one all day long. Eight to twelve hours with a 60lb weight vest on is exhausting initially, but once you get used to it and it comes off, running is easy

    I'm only 143 lbs, I can't even imagine wearing a 60 lb vest.....Holy Cow!!

Well they're adjustable. My vest is weighted with sand pouches, removable 2lbs at a time down to 10lbs.

I'm lucky cause I only run when it's nice out but I always have the skating which helps with cardiovascular endurance. If I feel I need to get into shape I'll just stroke around for 5 minutes or so then get off because I feel like I'm about to die. Kinda like if I try to spin

when y'all log your cardio, do you log what the treadmill says you burned or what mfp says you burned for the time you put in?

    I don't log any exercises , ever , but I do insanity

I'm asking because mfp tries to give me almost double what the treadmill says so I go with the lower number.

For runs I go with what my running app says cause it is linked and posts automatically on my profile. For other stuff I just make up a number. Usually 100 or 150. I figure estimate low

I just put my exercise in for my record but I think MFP is much higher
I don't eat my workout calories anyway

I go by my treadmill or my misfit. Sometimes I feel MFP is way off.

I guess if I do my 30 day shred I can just use my average treadmill calories burned. I don't want to over log because I do eat my calories back most of the time.....all of the time :/

Stick to veggies and low cal dressing. You'll get full on barely anything, calorie-wise.

I've been so hungry without all the fatty heavy foods in my system. There is literally nothing filling me up at all! Regardless of how healthy/tasty it is, I want the naughty foods.
