Yeah, I love StarTalk. I like to wait a few weeks before listening to it again so that I have a bunch of episodes to binge at work.

You should open your mind to some women. I'm pretty cool and worthy of the list...if I may say so myself :tongue:

I would omit Stephen King, move Tesla down the list and insert Einstein.

You know that honestly wasn't intentional, those people are on there regardless of gender. That said, Williamina Fleming, Mary Shelley, and Marie Curie would make a slightly expanded list.

The problem is that for much of history women weren't taken seriously, so it's more rare to find people on the level of Newton or Tesla who happened to be female. They're showing up all over the place now though, and I think it's awesome.

I could agree with that. King's just on my personal list because he's by far my favorite author.

I have the Eye of the Crimson King tattooed on my left wrist. The Dark Tower literally changed my perspective on life.

Right? I think I fit right between Hawking and Gates. I mean, I didn't overcome the challenges of ALS to become one of the world's most brilliant physicists, or develop the software that shapes modern computer culture, but I can rap all the lyrics to Mackelmore's "Downtown" like a bo$$:joy:
