Extremely so -- when the season was right and the winds were strong enough, my parents used to take atop a hill, void of any barrier formed by trees and buildings (there's a public school there, now). We'd fly kites for hours - box kites and traditional flat kites - until either our arms grew tired from reeling them in, the wind got too strong and we nearly lost our kites, or we were just there for too many hours. (:
