I can't have soy, so a lot of dressings are off my list. Right now I'm finishing up Publix's Honey Dijon, and starting on a bottle of Kraft's Greek Vinagrette with Feta. I also have a bottle of Trader Joe's Sriracha Ranch, but as much as I like sriracha it's a bit much.0

I often dress my salad with salsa. Lots of flavor with very little extra calories. Typical salsas have 10-20 calories per 2 tbsp. Sometimes I just use balsamic vinegar--same idea.0

Lighthouse Opa Greek yogurt blue cheese dressing is pretty good. 60 calories for 2 T.
I also like Newman's Own Lite Balsalmic Vinaigrette. 45 calories for 2 T.
Other than that I use regular Hidden Valley Ranch sparingly.0 -
i use walden farms salad dressing. They are all zero calorie. They have all kinds of flavors, blue cheese, ranch and my my favorite which is called a Super Fruit Balsamic Vinaigrette.0

Marie calender's has a greek yogurt blue cheese dressing that's 35 calories per tbsp. It's really tasty/creamy. I also like Ken's red wine vinegrette which is only about 60 calories per 2 tbsp and Makoto's ginger salad dressing (just like sushi restaurant salad dressing!) is 80 calories per 2 tbsp. Otherwise I just mix up some of Bertolli's italian balsamic glaze with apple cider vinegar for about 30 calories (1 tbsp glaze, 1/2 to 1 tbsp vinegar).0

I don't really care for any of the light or reduced fat options in creamy dressings, including the yogurt ones. They taste really off to me. Bleu cheese is a favorite of mine so I only use it when I can afford the calories. For lighter options I'll use vinaigrettes. I make my own more often now too.
One reduced fat option I like is Trader Joe's Cilantro dressing. Very tasty.0 -
I used to love Berenstain's Italian Dressing and Wishbone used to make this BLT flavored dressing that was the bomb.

In the fridge right now: Newman's Own Light Balsamic, Light Honey Mustard (really good on avocados), and Light Sesame Ginger (delicious and only 35 cal per serving). Also, Brianna's Blush Wine Vinaigrette, which is on the sweet side and good with the kind of salad that has apples or strawberries and chèvre...
If I'm making a "special" salad to go with dinner, I like making lemon vinaigrette with fresh lemon juice, evoo, good Dijon, some garlic or shallots, and salt, pepper, and sugar to taste. Easy, bright, and fresh.0 -
@Serah87 where do you get broccoli slaw?0
-
Renees ceaser dressing. So good. And call me weird but plain white vinegar and salt. Makes your salad taste like a giant pickle for no calories!0

Nice! I'll have to check. Thanks0 -
Just discovered Bolthouse. I was about to buy a spicy ranch with 135 calories for 2 tablespoons, and found this for 45 calories for 2 tablespoons. And it TASTES GOOD!0

I typically avoid bottled dressings. I spritz my salad greens with olive oil or coconut oil (I measured the spritzes needed and it equals about a teaspoon so low cal there). Then I splash with a little flavored vinegar; next, I sprinkle some herbs and seasonings (McCormick's Bacon and Chive is great) and then a little drizzle of raw honey or half a packet of monk fruit sweetener. Mix together and eat. After eating salads like this a while and then going and eating a bottled dressing (doesn't matter the flavor), I have a whole new appreciation for the "clean" taste. Bottled dressings now seem so "heavy" to me. I make one exception in the world of salad - authentic Ceasar salad in a restaurant. It is worth the calories to me0

Love Bolthouse and PANERA low sodium poppyseed. I also will just do balsamic or red wine vinegar0
-
Imo's red wine vinaigrette. OMG it's heaven and has zero everything.0

I often buy the Ranch flavor. Really good and low calories.0 -
Olive Garden Light (it's only 30 calories for 2 Tablespoons Or Newman's Honey Mustard.0

i like making mine with the ranch packet and fat free sour cream. It's kind of thick, but with enough stirring, it incorporates into the salad for a fraction of the calories. I've been thinking about adding some fat free milk to thin it out, but just haven't done it yet. I'm from Texas though and ranch dressing is king.0

I snuck a serving of my wife's Skinny Girl (good thing I'm secure in my sense of masculinity!) honey dijon to add flavor to sauteed Brussels sprouts. It's outstanding!0
-
The chunkiest richest Blue Cheese dressing I can find (generally Renee's), or for the slaw type dressings I like Kraft Asian Sesame. I'm in maintenance, low carbing it.0
-
I make my own salad dressing: apple cider vinegar, honey, and extra virgin olive oil- yummy!0
-
My step-mom would toss salad with rice wine vinegar and olive oil. She'd season with plenty of salt and pepper - her salads were amazing. I think partly because she'd toss the whole salad before serving, so the dressing was evenly coated on everything.
I like good seasons Italian - you make it fresh - I use less oil and extra vinegar. Everyone who tries it always comments that it's really good.0 -
I love Trader Joes Sesame Soy Ginger Vinaigrette. It is only 35 calories for 2 TBSP.0
-
Chipotle sauce or salsa. Little calories and awesome taste.0
-
For those of you using the bolt house dressing, I am looking at buying the Caesar, blue cheese and salsa ranch. Are those good? I don't usually buy dressing in a bottle, but you can't beat the calories and they are buy one/get one free at Shaws this week.0
