HBO is ALMOST worth getting just to watch GOT! Why can't it be on Netflix :'(

It looks like you can subscribe to HBO through Amazon Prime... Might just have to do that and get rid of the 495 out of 500 cable channels I NEVER watch...

I ended up getting HBO.. :/ Can't own every other season and not watch season 7!

PUTLOCKER!! You have to get past the adds but if no other way great resource!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind....
So HBO for GOT and Netflix for Stranger Things season 2. Tv time set!

I'm excited about Stranger Things, too! Oct. 27, right? Coming right up, just in time for Halloween!

Love that show! I'm also in to The Leftovers atm :)

Yes, another great show! I'm also interested to see what they'll do in a second season of "Westworld."

    Reactions to the premier?

Loved the opening so much... And the Hound scenes... overall bodes well for an excellent season, I'd say!

The entire series gives a whole new meaning to slow burn. 7 seasons to get to the good stuff and there is no guarantee that even this season will see anything major happen since there is still 1 more season. All I care about is Lady D coming to save the day with her dragons against the white walkers.

Opening scene was amazing, so I had high hopes! But I thought the rest of the episode was "meh" and kind of disappointing. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks that.

Opening scene was definitely the high point... much of the rest seemed to set viewers up for what to expect in the season to come -- if the season fulfills the promises made in this episode, I think it will be amazing.

Of course the big question will be whether everyone is able to come together to battle the army of the dead. I'm guessing Daenerys will, but wondering whether the Lannisters will take advantage of the situation to try to gain more power while the north -- and possibly Dany and her armies -- are occupied battling to save the world.

Obviously such a move by the Cersei et al. would be a self-defeating endeavor as power in a world doomed to destruction if all don't join together to save it is worth nothing -- or at least worth nothing for long. (Hmmmm... noticing some parallels to the real world here?)

I'm interested in a few different story lines, especially Arya's... and the Hound's... and Brienne's... and Cersei's... and Sansa's... pretty much everything but Dorne, I guess ;) But of course what Dany will do with her armies, her dragons, and her dragon glass is the big question... along with Jon Snow's parentage and a possible union between the two.

I'm all about what Dany will do...

Revenge is a dish best served with 3 dragons breathing fire on your enemies. Its a pretty famous saying in her parts of the woods.

Look forward to Arya seeing The Hound again, since she thinks she left him for dead after Brianne shoved him off the cliff.
Also Arya said she was going to kill the queen, that will be a plot to follow. Especially with her face transformations ala Mission Impossible.

    Arya won't kill Cersi, however.

The prophecy by Maggie says she will be killed by her younger brother, both of her brothers are younger and I believe Jaime will strangle her. She blew up the sept, a crime Jaime killed Aerys for plotting.

And I believe Tyrion is a step brother to Cersi, that he's Targaryan, not a Lannister.

According to the books i'd say all of this is right. As far as the show is concerned... well that's another thing entirely.

I think they're not going to mention anything about tyrion's birth (i mean tywin did say "since i can't prove you're not my son") because they also kept him blonde and didn't include any of the targeryan features he has in the book.

Also in the show they only show the maggie prophecy saying her children will die before her. But for Jamie killing her? i'm in agreement. i think they book makes you want to believe it's tyrion (and cersie believes it's tyrion) but it has to be jamie. She essentially did exactly what jamie killed the mad king for saying he'd do. She has become the embodiment of what he always feared.

I do think that Tyrion will be revealed as a Targaryan on the show, although you're right, in the books he looks much more like he's half Targaryan. He's comfortable with the dragons, he'll likely be the "third head" of the dragon.

And Maggie's prophecy did include that Cersei would be strangled by "the volonquar'. I agree that Tryion is just too obvious.

Tonight's episode sure left us hanging. What terrible things will happen next? If dragons get killed... I think my head might explode.

    No spoilers!

Funny the latest villain's name is basically "urine." He's got to GO. Flush it down. Do not let it mellow. Dragon queen vengeance!

Can you believe the original Dario left this series to film the transporter? Talk about good career decisions.

What an idiot. I like the new one better.

Ramsay was a much more interesting villain than Euron.

So, who kills urine? Jorah? A dragon? The Hound? Brienne? Theon? No. Don't tell me!

Eh Euron's boring, zero character development ):

    BUT ARYA OMG <3

The best villain was Tywin. Everybody else is just boring. But nobody upset me like Ramsey did. I just hate his effing face. If I see him in real life and if he smiles, I'll just punch his face.

I feel that way about Sansa Stark tbh - there's just something about her face. But the best villain I believe isn't a 'was' but still an 'is' - much love for Littlefinger simply because he makes for the most compelling and humanized character in the series. The fact that he doesn't fall into yet another trope makes seeing how his character plays out soooooo delicious for me. <3

I wasn't looking for this, but sometimes the best things in life appear when you least expect them.

    I <3 the Hound.
