I eat a mini powdered sugar donut every night. :)

But my favorites are the old fashioned glazed buttermilk.

Maple bars generally, but there was one local place (now out of business) that did a cronut (croissant doughnut) way before they were popular. Those were my favorite.

Maple glazed sounds amazing and I will have to track one down. Honestly being from the tri-state its the land of Dunkin Donuts, so I don't even know where the closest legit, donut shop is. That said my go to is usually DD's French Cruller, because it has the fewest calories but still hits the spot.

Glazed chocolate fry cake, followed closely by a french cruller ( the ones that look like a tractor tire ... ).

I never eat them though I tell myself I do. If I eat a donut it better be dank and at least 700-800 calories.

    ... no pictures?

These are my favorites. French style raspberry 'beignets'. They're denser and more chewy than American ones (probably a bazillion more calories too, yeah) and the jam is thicker.

    For American donuts, Boston Cream.

ETA: still haven't got to try a cronut. Really want to.

CHURROS, a nice soft glazed yeast donut, although i seriously love entenmann's glazed buttermilk cake donuts.. which is crazy because i hate packaged pastries. and a good ol chocolate with sprinkles.

I like the donuts that are filled with the chocolate cream that is really sweet and more like a cake frosting consistency. No idea what they're called. After that Boston creme
