My posture is just fine
I'm not sure about that. The pics you posted imply an anterior pelvic tilt, or possibly a mild case of lordosis. The above poster is right; some good stretches CAN help with APT.
Here's a great website with some really helpful info:

Lol lol my arch is lovely , but thanks. My posture is fine.

In all honesty and I'm really NOT trying to be funny. White women are built differently... That Is All.4

Are they now?4

Lol... I do get what u mean , but not everyone with an arch suffers from this you know. Read into it a little more , you'd be surprised.2

@stowns30 just curious, do you ever get low back pain or pain in hip flexors?1
-
It's been exactly one month today since I began this journey. I just weighed in at 134lbs , 10lbs gained in a month. May not seem like a lot, but it's progress. Happy camper... 16 more pounds would be Awesome!!!
May not seem like a lot? 10 lbs gained is definitely more than enough for 1 month. Keep track of those calories especially your bodyfat% so you know how much mass you're gaining that IS fat. Better slow and steady to minimize fat gain...even with a fast metabolism.3 -

I actually want to gain some fat... In doing so I've been working out more than I use to

You don't need to post them, but I would strongly recommend gettining in a swimsuit / bikini..and taking the following shots in clean lighting both relaxed and flexed..make sure you are in the same place and lighting each time, spread them a month apart minimum
Straight on
Side
Back
What you have posted is Instagram style, sticking your butt out and forcing a pot belly
But good luck with your goals
Girl this is black girl booty... I wasn't sticking anything out. If anything most people would be squeezing their stomach in. Why in the world would I need to poke out my stomach. GTFOH with that nonsense. I will pose any way I want to and there is NOTHING you can do about it. I'm losing the pouch I had from gaining dumb dumb.... And proud of it. You take your pics the way you want and I'll take mine the way I want. #GIRL BYE
Well your poses would say otherwise as anyone can objectively see. It's not "black booty" it's hip angle.
But you take your pics the way you want to. I was just trying to provide the help you clearly need and the attention you clearly crave
U so sad hater... I'm glad like my post
Op you look great. The hate is real in this post especially with those losing against those gaining, mind blowing. Everyone is an expert all of a sudden. Do what works for you, and I'll do what works for me. Lol It's that simple.
Thanks ,, im getting there. Lol
I'm really glad you are enjoying your results. At the risk of being called a hater, @Sued0nim isn't wrong. Here's an illustration that may help. I think the point is to help you with regard to meeting the aesthetic goals you have mentioned.
Can you see the different in the protuberance of the stomach?
Exactly the point @nutmegoreo
But I think this is the wrong thread.
It appears that the OP isn't looking for help, advice or objectivity which is IME why most people with goals for weight gain or loss (or even maintenance) start threads and ask questions. So I think it's best if we just leave this alone and get on with helping those who want help.
And let's be clear... I made this thread looking to share my journey to gaining weight with others taking Apetamin or other supplements to help out. Obviously I'm not the ONLY thread for Apetamin or other weight gain supplements, but ummmm... Yeah lol
In all reality then, this should have been a blog post not a forum post. The Forum is designed to ask questions and get answers to those questions.
Can you link to that rule or guideline?
nope but the forums are for asking questions am I not right? and blogs are for personal stuff...
Just seemed like a more appropriate place for it.
However there is this
'Please choose the most appropriate board or group for your post and post it once. Posting the same message to multiple boards or multiple groups is a form of spam. Please note that this is NOT a guideline against inadvertently posting a question another member has asked before. We explicitly allow members to post questions that have been asked previously by other members. If you see a member post a topic that you think has been asked before by another member, please respond politely or simply move on. However, the same member cannot ask the same question or post the same topic more than once."
There is all kinds of stuff going on in this thread that has already been addressed. So, I am just commenting on this one point. And I am not intending for this to be any kind of argument. Just commenting on this one issue alone. The forums aren't only for questions. People can post progress as well as success. People can post looking for others that have the same goals, diet, etc. And many other reasons for posting in the forums. But, with that said I do understand some of the issues people have addressed and been seeking to understand.4 -

Wait a darn minute here! Are you really saying that you got to keep your tail?!
Mine was cut off at birth. Similar to the way you would dock a Rottweiler tail. They cut it into a little stumpy nub. Although i am considering getting mine pierced . On the Lionel Ritchie fan forum, someone told me he likes ladies with piercings. So I do have that going for me.
Have you ever thought of tattooing or piercing your tail to extenuate it's beauty?

This is also a useful link for tail beauty products. I'm getting the blue one on Saturday

Oddly they kept my ears but took my tail. I do think the Teddy bear cut looks sharp though.
Anywho, just hoping to get the nub pierced at some point to increase my chances of breeding with Lionel Ritchie.3 -
Just one more thing about corsets because no one said this. They appear to make the waist smaller because it does cinch the waist in and redistributes the contents of your waist above and below the corset (including the positioning of internal organs). Some people get really into this and can cause permanent changes. Most people just wear them occasionally for fashion and performance. Occasional use will not cause harm.3

I think of them like high heel shoes. A fashion item that can cause harm if not used responsibly.2

You're talking about steel boned waist training corsets there. A bit of elastic, like the OP purchased, does little other than make you sweat under it, it's basically just shapewear.3 -
The op wasn't talking about a corset. She got one of those new age waist trainer belts3

Oh really? Why did I think we where talking about tush? I guess my twinkle tush won't be needed here:( hopefully it will help someone else out though who is interested in a decorative rear area.5 -
I started my weight gain journey on July 25, 2016 using Apetamin. I am 5'4 and started with 106 pounds. My goal is 125. All my life I had been thing. Is difficult to me to gain weight. I hope this product work for me. Stowns30 what is your height?3

Oh! I don't know about that. Sorry. Thanks for the info. I thought it was a corset. Some people call it waist training getting used to a corset (I thought). That's not even something I would want to do, though. Corsets are pretty, but uncomfortable.2 -

Not much of a difference really I've had corsets as well. Those things are just as tight. Lol but hey it is what it is. Ha!!! I gotta love this thread... Hahahaha TOP

Genetics can determine body shape. It's not entirely a race issue. In some cases it's more of a preference. I put weight on in my booty and thighs. Not my waist. I am actually very tiny. But, my booty is at least 11 inches bigger than my waist. And each thigh is just a few inches smaller than my waist. I could be bigger if I wanted to. Though I would have to eat a ton like you ladies. But, it's not my preference. So, I am on mfp maintaining my weight these past four years. Maybe a cultural thing. My mother has a different shape than me (I didn't get those genetics from her), and she told me I had fat thighs and butt when I was 16, weighed 98 pounds, and it was muscle from dancing and a highly athletic lifestyle. Though there is still variation within the culture. Youth is an issue. Younger people will gain more muscle (maybe because I was a dancer in addition to being young). As I have gotten older I need to do some strength training to maintain muscle. Though partly because recently I had muscle loss because of a malabsorption disorder and weighed 95 pounds. But, I stopped eating the foods I had malabsorption to and gained my weight back and able to eat a normal 2000 to 2300 calories again.5

Hilariously true. I've studied historical costume and costume making, including corsetry. There is absolutely no comparison to be made between steel boned corsets, plastic boned corsets (commonly used in costume for comfort reasons) and elastic "waist trainers" touted by the Kardashians. Even with steel boned waist training corsets you'd have to tightlace for years for it to make a change to your genetically determined shape and you'd have to continue to tightlace for that change to be there permanently, once you stop your body returns to "normal" over a period.
Ain't no piece of glorified elastic going to do the same thing other than maybe offer too much support and atrophy the muscles slightly by wearing it working out. Which ironically would cause a softening of the area, not the tightening one desires.
But you go ahead with your ignorance and thinking you know better than everyone else. This is more for the lurkers.17 -

Great info. Thanks for sharing. Yeah, I should have said that even if a corset causes "permanent" change it's only because of wearing it all the time for years and years and only because they continue to wear it. It's a rare thing. Like something a person would hold a world record for. Like people who grow their nails long. And it's not an ideal situation for the body.
I guess this other waist trainer is maybe like a girdle.
I tried wearing a corset. But, I dance a lot. And even a little dancing and it causes bruising on one spot. So, I don't tighten it. I guess either it's not for me. Or definitely can't be dancing while wearing it. Or I need a different one. Or maybe one that is for a shorter torso. So, it won't be hitting on the bone where it bruises. Or I can try something like a corset that has the style, but is more flexible. But, probably best to just accept that I like to dance and my torso needs to be free. Just like I stopped wearing high heels too.3 -
