Has anyone heard of the Grapefruit juice, ACV and honey tummy slimming drink? You drink one cup before each meal to help burn fat. Anyone have any experience with this? Does it aid in weightloss?

No, it doesn't work.17

All you need to do to lose weight is to eat fewer calories than you burn. You don't need any type of special drinks or foods. This drink will not aid in weight loss in any special way.14

I think it would work by making you lose your appetite.22 -
Did the site you read this on explain the science behind how this drink helps you burn fat, did it make logical sense to you??13

Unfortunately, fat burning is not that easy.8
-
It doesn't do anything, except possibly make you throw up. Sounds disgusting.9

No. It sounds gross. I can't see it having any benefits as far as weight loss unless it makes you lose your appetite.
Grapefruit juice can be contraindicated with meds, ACV tastes great on salad and is supposed to be great for your skin and hair when used topically (I haven't tried it), and honey tastes great but has a lot of calories.1 -
Sounds disgusting.2

What everyone else says with regards to it not having fat burning qualities. But drinking something before a meal may make you feel full faster and so you end up eating less, or feeling satiated more quickly than usual. Try a glass of water before each meal instead?8

No joke. A likely inexhaustive list complied and published in 2012 (source citation at the bottom of every page if you want to read the original accompanying article) : http://www.cmaj.ca/content/suppl/2012/11/26/cmaj.120951.DC1/grape-bailey-1-at.pdf4 -
Think about it logically for a second. How can a drink burn fat? It goes in your mouth, you swallow it, it moves through your digestive system and then comes out as waste. Where and how does it ever touch fat to burn it? What could the mechanics possibly be behind that claim?

Grapefruit in itself stimulates the liver. Interactions of grapefruit juice and cardiovascular medications can be potentially dangerous. Other than that all of those ingredients have amazing health benefits. I use ACV, garlic and honey to get over strep throat without getting an RX. I also like to drink grapefruit before a meal because it makes digestion better.1

Sounds like an extreme case of heartburn to me...OUCH.3

Do you take it with a side of tums?2
-
I take it in a shot glass! No tums0

They may have some health benefits, but it will not help you to lose weight quicker or burn fat. You need a calorie deficit for that.2 -
It does help flush fat and toxins from the liver. And yes, you do need a calorie deficit to lose weight.JosetteandBill wrote: »Grapefruit in itself stimulates the liver. Your liver and kidneys flush toxins.....drinks and juice do not.23 -

Nope, don't fall for that stuff. The only thing that causes weight loss is eating at a calorie deficit.

Yes the liver and kidneys flush toxins and food and fluid is required for that to happen. What college did you go to?JosetteandBill wrote: »It does help flush fat and toxins from the liver.
