    Dinner out last night was great and the food choices reasonable, but, as always, there's the salt factor. I will balance things out today

    Good evening,

    Birthday lunch at work, someone brought chocolate cake one of the best one can buy in a store - and someone bought lunch. Also celebrated one of the temps getting a job who really wanted to stay on.

    I am starting to toss things and came across a thermos that is named 'the big daddy' - bought it when the world and myself were freaking out about things and I needed a place to keep dogs food cold. Well I have never used it and guy at work hunts/fishes so I took it to work and he was glad to have it.

    I will just have to deal with the dust somehow. These are areas that need to be cleaned out.

    Still got my 5k and yogurt was dinner. So still over on calories but not a complete blowout.

    I might have lol my older pup sometimes gets me up really early in the morning.

    Good evening,

    Amazon delivery brought me 2 cookbooks on recipes for my new convection oven - ultimately it is bending down with a heavy full casserole dish to put in oven (or take out a hot one) that prompted this. They are both encouraging as they have "everyday" type recipes.

    TGIF all over the place. Virtually running around cheering for everyone who made it through to Friday.

    Give you an idea of how tired I am??? I am sleeping in and letting Walmart deliver with any luck most of my groceries.

    Sorry, dropped off the planet for a couple of days. Not sure it did any good, but the two areas in my place that were on my nerves are cleaned up.

    Boss wanted to know if it was quieter w/o the temps. I never want to cost any one their job even if it is temp. I said I could not tell as I had my music on louder to keep myself awake. We shall see what we shall see. Just roll my eyes.

    Food choices are slightly better, but that doesnt say too much.

    Your boss is still weird. Oy!

    I tried something this evening with my steel-cut oats, and it's a success: I boiled the water, but before I added the oats, I put a Celestial Seasonings Peach tea bag into the boiling water for 1 minute. I gives the oatmeal a bit of flavor and dimension without adding any calories! That and a couple of dribbles of 1/2 n 1/2, and I've got a tasty, low-sugar, low salt nighttime snack!

    Time for bed.....
