Do we just post a new one each week with same format? Too bad can't just add to one posting. My first challenge. Thank you.

I'm with you on this. Never tried to join a challenge before. Biggest obstacle so far is trying to find it again. I can't seem to get the bookmark to work.

Good luck to you and all on this journey with us!

@LynnEllen64 Thank you for noticing! Loss is slowing down as I get into lower numbers but I am adjusting!
You've done great too! 4 pounds gone never to return!
As far as finding the challenge and bookmarking it, did you press the little star in the upper right next to the original post of this thread? Then if you go under community and press the star at the top (there will be 5 icons-a star, a search, a pencil-looking thing and 2 others I can't remember right now) it should have a list of your "starred" or saved threads and you can pick this one, search for your last post (I tend to scan by the last date I entered a weight) and copy and paste it. Then just add your new weight and any comments you want.
I hope that helps and this wasn't too long winded!

Can you eat a modified version of a "crappy carb?" Eat only one serving? I have a "salt" tooth, not a sweet tooth and I crave pizza. It NEVER tastes as good as I thought it would and my body feels blah afterwards.
Hopefully you can make it through! Take it 10 minutes at a time!

It seems if I really limit my carbs to decent nutritional ones and combine with a meal I don't have the cravings so bad. Although it seems if I eat white bread I just want more carbs all day. Thank you for caring! I also crave salt more than sweet. I ate some Doritos this week. Should just not have them. YES, blah afterwards and cranky. No energy.

Yuck! I detest the cravings because if I give in to them, I feel bad physically and emotionally and it's all just no fun.
I have a few suggestions but I'm no expert. This is what I would do if I was in your shoes.
    1) Remove the Doritos and white bread from my home and don't let it fit into my schedule. As in, no gas station snacks.
    2) Research online what cravings mean and what you can eat/may be missing from your diet. There are articles about craving carbs specifically but I don't know how reliable they are. Read at your own discretion.
    3) Take a craving 10 minutes at a time. (Example: avoid carbs for 10 minutes, re-think it, do another 10 minutes, etc.
    4) If you do eat the carbs, get right back on the wagon the next meal. No need to blow everything because of one small craving.
    5) Remember you are human, this is a journey so you're still figuring stuff out!
    6) Be kind to yourself!

Thank you! Good ideas! Also, going to look back on what I ate on days I didn't struggle vs days I did. I love the 10 minute idea. If I still want it, I will portion it. Less impulse eating. T
