What's wrong with lard?1 -
Guys, you're all making me get the urge to bake my own pumpkin foods. Gods I miss living where the food is.1

Actually the main fat appears to be palm oil that I could find online, not lard. Gotta have fat if you're going to fry those babies!
"Munchkin: Enriched Unbleached Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Enzyme, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Palm Oil, Sugar, Whey (a milk derivative), Water, Soybean Oil, Egg Yolks, Contains less than 2% of the following: Leavening (Baking Soda, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate), Pumpkin, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Defatted Soy Flour, Cinnamon, Salt, Spices, Sodium Caseinate (a milk derivative), Enzyme Modified Egg Yolks, Soy Lecithin, Skim Milk, Konjac Flour, Yellow 6, Caramel Color, Carrageenan; Glaze: Sugar, Water, Maltodextrin, Contains 2% or less of: Propylene Glycol, Mono and Diglycerides (Emulsifier), Cellulose Gum, Agar, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Vanillin (an Artificial Flavor)."
There was just something off about the icing or maybe how it got cooked. Though I don't usually have that problem with munchkins, which is why I mentioned it.

My recipe for Pumpkin Spice creamer.
1 3/4 cup of milk (any kind you want. The higher the fat content the "richer/creamier" it will taste)
14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons of purred pumpkin
1 teaspoon of pumpkin spice
4 tablespoons of maple syrup
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Mix and store in the fridge.
I use a blender to mix everything and store in a large blender ball mixer. What's nice about this is that you can adjust the spices to your taste.4 -
pumpkin spice cheerios sound amazing! The only store close to me (Smith's) already has a pumpkin spice display in a couple parts of the store plus more all over the place on shelves but it's all junk food! So the cheerios is exciting, I've heard Trader Joes has healthy options, but the closest one is 30 minutes away by bus. Can anyone tell me if it's worth it?!0

Variety is the pumpkin spice of life.
Everyone should do pumpkin!0 -

I just made a batch of pumpkin banana muffins yesterday, using fresh pumpkin that I had in my freezer. I tinkered with the recipe so that each muffin is about 120 cal. Not bad considering they contain real yummy butter and pecans.
I made these tonight also. I cut back on the amount of sugar as it didn't need that much. I made half the batch with pecans like the recipe suggested and the other half with chocolate chips (I have one son who doesn't like nuts). The recipe is a real keeper! I am going to try her banana nut recipe also.2 -

It's so worth it! I went Saturday. The nearest one to me is about 20 min. I left with a cart full of Pumpkin things.0 -
Germany does do pumpkin... you can buy Pumpkin Seed Oil - kurbiskernal ol - and it is unbelievably delicious. On vanilla ice cream - had some last night. Yummy, yummy. You should try it. You can find it in almost any grocery store in Germany along with the salad oils.1

I usually make my own pumpkin spice oatmeal with steel cut oats, pumpkin puree, spices, and walnuts, but at my Target they had Quaker Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal. It's a nice shortcut for mornings when I don't have a lot of time--I added SuperSeedz Cinnamon & Sugar pumpkin seeds to pump up the protein a bit. Yummy!2

Liked the pumpkin spice Mini Wheats last year
I like the Pumpkin Spice Oreos more than the Candy Corn flavor.0 -
Trader Joe's had pumpkin spice caramel corn the last time I went.
The bag didn't even last the car trip home.
No regrets, but I will be limiting myself to that one bag. Caramel corn is a major weakness of mine. It was sooooo good.
I will be stalking the store for the coffee. I love that stuff.1 -
Boom Chicka Pop has a pumpkin spice popcorn with white chocolate drizzle and it is SO GOOD. Honestly, I could eat the whole bag. I plan on stocking up before pumpkin stuff disappears.0

I'm in Canada, they were in the really cool food section at HomeSense. That's where I also found Samosa Chips, Cinnamon Dried Chick Peas, Tomato and Spinach Veggie chips. Such cool things!

They have pumpkin spice syrup for coffee @ Target. The brand name is Torani. It comes in sugar free and regular.

I had a bite and they are really good.cariduttry wrote: »love mcd's pumpkin spice lattes but MAN are they too sweet! i buy a small and then also a large black coffee for $1. i pour out half of the coffee and put the latte in. perfect.
I go to Kwik Trip and get 1/3 pumpkin spice cappuccino, and the rest regular coffee. It is really too sweet straight, but just right for me 2/3 : 1/3 ratio.

I bought that one, plus the regular Chobani pumpkin at the store this weekend. If anyone hasn't tried it yet, the Pumpkin Noosa is by far the best pumpkin yogurt there is...
My store had a whole pumpkin display including the Cheerios (really good), mini wheats, and oatmeal. And my nestle pumpkin spice creamer was finally in. Fall has arrived!5 -
