154.8 I'm getting there, slow but sure
I will not meet the goal I set for myself to be at 150 by the end of the year
nor the goal of this challenge, 145
but I'm happy with my progress & will keep working at it.
Congrats to those that have achieved their goal
Keep at it to those of us that are struggling ~~ there is light at the end of the tunnel
Here's hoping we can all keep the weight off
we all need to check back in the week of January 23rd to see how we're doing at keeping it off
MERRY CHRISTMAS
or
HAPPY HANUKKAH
or
HAPPY KWANZAA
or whatever your celebration may be

Man, there were weeks of up and down the same 1-3 lbs that had me wondering if I was somehow the metabolic exception to fatloss on the ketogenic diet. I must be a bit of a slow loser--probably doing some internal healing as I enter my third month of greatly-reduced carbohydrates. I may not get to that ambitious goal of 27 down by Xmas, but I'm glad to be down 16 thus far. The benefits along the way have totally been worth it.
Hang in there folks!1 -
thats some awesome results. You're crushing it. I am a big advocate of the ketogenic diet not only for the fat utilization for energy but for mood, sleep, endurance, and overall health. I see you have just a few to go but way to shoot big on your goals. are you doing any sort of exercises currently to aid in fat loss?

Sigh. And then I broke my foot.
I more than met my goal, so I'll have to be satsfied with that.1 -

Didn't get to 10% by Christmas and wasn't even home to weigh in. But I did drop 17 lbs in 2 months and I'm happy with that, especially since I started this challenge late in the game. Excited to keep it going in 2017--best to all of you who have reached goal and those like me who have a ways to go. We can do this!
