janetr - glad the dr was thorough and that you can hang at the place you are for a few days.... I'm sorry you are so miserable, but hopefully some of the meds will kick in and make it better...

Rebecca – I guess everybody has their opinions about what numbers you should get in the way of calories to maintain or to lose weight. Because I had nearly 60lbs to lose, my MD ‘ordered’ me into a Medical Weight Loss program; which meant my caloric intake a day is 960; a lot lower than the maintenance range of 1100 – 1300 for maintaining my weight. I drink protein shakes and eat a protein bar; and, then substitute a meal (for 3 meals and 1 snack). The first 2 weeks, I was very ‘hungry’, then I got used to it. Now I probably eat more ‘normal’ foods; and, I exercise daily; well, most of the time. I was getting in pool but it has been getting a little too cool, especially after nearly 2" of rain last night. I agree with Linda/IA that 1200 calories per day, is a good start on maintaining your weight. I’m sure there are a lot of women out there that disagree with me. Best thing to do is to check with your MD and find out how many calories you need to be eating in order to lose weight. Especially, since you have had an injury that would prevent you from exercising.
You need to eat a high protein diet for helping with building muscle; and, you also have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat; so don’t get too upset if you gain weight at first, if you are losing the fat. In that regard, measuring your inches is probably a better way to realize if you are losing or gaining. If you see that your clothes are getting looser, you are on your way to losing weight and getting back to your goal weight. I had been told for years that a range for me to be in, was between 1100 – 1300 calories a day; but, with the medications I have to take; this just was not ‘working’ for me. Different people gain/lose/maintain weight doing different things and eating different things. I would suggest that you buy a good food scale and a good set of measuring cups and spoons, then track everything that crosses your lips, even the licks of the spoon or small tastes while cooking. If you go to the FOOD section, you can pre-track your days, if you know what you might be eating for the day; instead of waiting until you eat all day and find that you are over whatever ##### you (and your MD) decide is right for you, with your lack of ability to exercise, in order to ‘safely’ lose weight. Most, if not all, of the medications I have to take have the ‘side effect’ of ‘weight gain’. At first putting on 1 or 1.5lbs a month did not concern me until one of my MDs said, 'well, that means that you are putting on 12 to 18lbs of weight every year'. I had been doing this for several years, so when I reached 199lbs, I decided that ‘come HELL or high water’ I was going to take off the ‘extra’ 60lbs. I am so near to my goal I can ‘taste’ it; but, those last pesky pounds seem to be the hardest to lose. But, I am hanging in there. Come often, post often, and tell us something about yourself, family, children/grandchildren, hobbies and/or goals.
Kate UK – I think that my ‘goal’ for ‘normal’ BMI for my height and age is 25; so I am 2 points away. Between 10 – 15lbs as far as I can tell. I hope to have, at least, lost that 3lbs that I found while visiting DYS, DDnL#2, and DGD#4 for 10 days and not worrying about counting calories. I’ve been drinking a lot of water since we got home. I think one day this week I drank 19.25 cups of water. Stayed in a 'counting steps' on my walk to the bathroom; but, MD can’t tell me that I am not drinking enough water. LOL! We’ll have one more vacation before the school year starts. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your food, just keep things in perspective. I usually cut whatever I am served, in half, and take home the other half for a meal the next day (or put it in the freezer) for later on. When I cook spaghetti for us; I mix in the extra noodles into the sauce and put in little boat dishes and put them in the freezer. Usually makes 4 servings. I enjoy myself while on vacation and I don’t say, ‘oh, no I can’t have that, I’m on a ‘diet’. This is not a ‘diet’ we are on, it is a ‘lifestyle change for the rest of our lives’. If we can get our spouses and family to go along with it, it makes it a lot easier. Since my DH eats his ‘big’ meal during the middle of the day, I try to do the same at home. Neither of us eat a lot at supper, and we usually have a cup or two of coffee early in the evening. My protein bar is my 'snack' with it. It is strange that I cannot eat one at any other time of the day. If I want something (or as some say, ‘crave’ something) I will eat a little and then adjust somewhere else. My biggest downfall is ‘cheese’. Whoop, Whoop … my DH calls me his ‘rat’.
Tracey in PA – Even the ‘traveling wall’ is humbling; and it is a 3rd or 4th of the size of the original.
Heather – I understand your worry about your DS leaving his job (because he suffers from depression). Sometimes you just have to ‘lay them in God’s hands’ and trust they will be ‘ok’. I learned the ‘hardest’ way possible tonight that I do not have ‘any’ control over what a ‘family’ member thinks of me. It ended badly. Very badly. And what was worse is that it occurred in front of my DGDs. When I cannot be ‘comfortable’ in my OWN home; then it is time to do something about it. I am quite tired of the title of ‘fire-breathing, smoke puffing dragon of a M-n-L’. She isn't going to change; therefore, I cannot or will not be viewed any differently. She has brought this all on herself. She has probably made the rest of the evening pure hell for those who stayed behind and ate BBQ with us. Son especially probably got the brunt of it.
It is hard to say ‘this, too, shall pass’ when I know it never will. I had printed out an email that she sent; and, boy would I have ‘loved’ to be able to find it. They can work on whatever is going on between them without putting me ‘in the middle’. But, it has been a very ‘divisive’ issue in the family. What started the entire thing was my DH asking DMGD ‘if she had kicked #4 to the curb’ and she ‘huffed’ and then DDnL#1 let loose and basically ‘cussed us both out’ for a lot of things that ‘really’ - after 16+ years of marriage to my DOS, should have long since, been forgotten and put to rest. I cannot help that she still holds on to the resentment of not letting DOS be the one to introduce us, as he had asked that she do. That should have ‘been his sign’ … ‘nuff said’.
NYKAREN – I don’t know if they have “Cracker Barrel” restaurants up there; but, they always have candies that I remember getting as a child. But, it usually expensive.
Mary from Minnesota – Grateful that God was with you and you did not suffer any serious injury. I remember about 3 years ago, I was waiting for traffic to clear to make a left-hand turn; I got behind a woman and heard a huge ‘crack’ and suddenly the 1/2 of the trunk of a large (dead) live oak tree fell on her car, right where the windshield touches the hood. One of the branches fell between her car and mine; but no damage. I got out of my car carefully and went as close as I could and called out ‘are you ok’? Police and ambulance have been called'. She started screaming, ‘get me out of her’ Oh Lord, please help me' and there was nothing I could do other than try to calm her down! A man who had been sitting on his porch can running over to try to jerk the car door on the passenger side ‘open’ and I yelled that there were ‘live wires’ down; and just then he turns and starts running and screaming … RUN! BEES! I knew that there was a beehive in the hollow part, so I stood there not moving, because they will chase whatever they deem to be the source of the disturbance of their hive. They were inside the car, covered me, since I had on a bright pink top; and I stood there pulling them off my shirt a few at a time. I had my cellphone in my hand and called the police to tell them they also needed to find a bee keeper who could smoke them out of the car. They ended up putting a helmet on her covered by a towel and used a fire tank, like the red ones you see in places, that you turn over so the foam will come out until the could get a bee keeper there. I sat there and watched this entire situation and thought, “There, but for the grace of God, go I.” If I had not had to wait for traffic to clear … I shudder to think of where I might have been when it came down. The Police, Sheriff, State Trooper, EMTs, Fire Department, Utility Co., bee keeper, local newspaper, and the news truck … all there within 5 minutes. Her children heard about the tree falling; but, did not realize that their mother was in the car, until they cut a few branches off the car. One of her daughters became hysterical! She had just gotten off one job; and was on her way to the first day of a new 2nd job. I think about that a lot and praise God that she was not injured worse, or killed. It could have been really bad.
Three feet away … I can imagine that your heart is still beating fast! That would be ‘scary’. This lady was trapped in her car; but, except for a few small cuts and abrasions, she was ‘ok’. The city made the people cut down the dead tree (still half of it standing) down the next day.
There is so much that we take for granted; and, sometimes we get a warning. Makes you think about being nicer to others. Calm down and breathe! Take a nice relaxing shower or get in a nice bubble bath and relax!
“Does that mean we will have 6 more weeks of summer; since you saw your shadow?”
Re – Maybe there is a listing for ‘mending fences’. At the moment the fence (invisible) is down at our house; but, I am not the one to start then mending … “Tomorrow is another day.” (I think Scarlett said that right after Rhett said so aptly “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn!”

Mary- In the UK, in 2009, 39 people died from falling objects. (I just looked it up) I think it is a real tribute to your health and fitness that you had the quick reactions to see the hazard and sprint out of its way quickly. Many people would just have turned round to look as the tree fell on them!
I haven't heard back from my son yet. I have no information about what is going on. He is the one who just adopted the two retired greyhounds and we all thought he was improving. He has been with this company all his life and even worked part time as a teenager. He has risen to a good position as a product designer. They have been brilliant about his depression, paying for treatment etc. I am worried, of course. He has a mortgage etc. He suffers terribly from anxiety, as well as depression. I suspect he may have Aspergers, though that hasn't been mentioned by any practioner, as far as I know. He lives quite a way away.
I heard at the party that my ex's wife, whom I like, is going to live in Glasgow part time to take on a high powered job in the Art Department of the university. She is a conservator. In a couple of years when their children are at the right age for exams etc, they might all move up to Scotland. Weird, but exciting! One great thing is that Scotland has free university tuition for residents. A big adventure for them all. She is going to buy an apartment in Glasgow for now.
We are going to rent their house in the South West of France next spring for a week or so. They rent it from a friend, but don't use it much now the kids are teenagers. They hate it as it's in the depths of the countryside.
Talking about "moving" - while we were eating in the restaurant, DH, all by himself, brought up the subject of moving to Hove to be with the grandchildren. He said he could see something was on my mind and he wasn't opposed to it - maybe it's time for a change. !!!!! Oh my word! He was a tiny bit upset that I hadn't talked to him about it, though I had spoken to DDIL and even DS. Whoops!
We will have to think very carefully about it - don't want to be a burden on DS and DDIL, though she has, very positively, talked to me about it. We need to do it for us. A new and exciting phase of our lives.
As you know from my avatar I love cities, but DH is a country lover, so I thought I would never get him out of our village. But he said he thinks he may have exhausted it's possibilities. Our main worry is for him to be able to continue going to his beloved cricket with his lovely friend. Not impossible, but he is not getting any younger. Might have to spend the odd night at the hotel at the ground.
So, I am not getting excited, but it could be a happening thing. Lots to think about.
DH has cricket today, but the weather is very grey looking. I have yoga and my friend will be bringing me home. I have invited her for a quick lunch, but don't know if she will stay for that.
Love to all. Heather UK2 -
Morning all~
think I caught up on reading.. today is my long day of work.. will have to see what I can bring to work for lunch and snacks.. that is healthy
as I told you today is our 19 anniversary.. and that is when he still loved me .. I think he cares for me,is devoted to me,but he has lost all desire.. think it is low testosterone , but he won't take care of any of that..1 -
heather exciting idea to contemplate moving closer to the grandkids. Big decision
Becca eventhough you aren't reading this..have a good break away from the digital and we will keep your place warm and cozy for you
I had to laugh about your Walmart trip Joyce. I can't grocery shop with DH for the same reason--2 things on the list and sidetracked by the bakery
Cranking out the work, using my new habits to stay focused, hitting the gym, I am rolling along, not earth shaking but gradual improvement or status quo with weight--I'll take it

Morning, all...
Allie, my dear, my heart goes out to you. I ended up sending my ex to the shrink for similar issues, once I had lost over a hundred pounds and he still wasn't interested. It's not the only reason he's my ex--but it was one of the biggies. Marrying a guy nine years younger made me realize how far off the norm my ex-husband actually was in those terms. One of the many reasons I gained up to 300 pounds was to give him the excuse that I needed him to have for not wanting me--and that became evident while I was still in my twenties. Just don't blame yourself for his lack of desire--I did for many years, and it nearly killed me, in the end.
Mary from Minn - Holy crapolini, girl, glad you saw the shadow move and your reflexes kicked you into gear!
JanetR - hope these new meds take care of it, sounds utterly miserable.
Heather in the UK - the idea of the move sounds wonderful and exciting, and hope your older son is doing well.
Welcome to the new ones... and speaking of which:
MsMaryMac--Not scolding at all--but pre-menopause is not the land of doom. It's the gateway to amazing freedom. I was shoved into menopause after a full hysterectomy at the age of 40, but finally being without the hormonal avalanche did wonders for my life, not to mention the fact that I didn't have to buy stock in a tampon company in order to afford them any longer. With periods that lasted 40 to 60 days, it was lovely to be able to just stop feeling that sinking feeling in the middle of the night and scrambling for the bathroom--not to mention dealing with intermittent anemia. In terms of the sitting at the job--I put myself together a standing desk, literally out of cardboard boxes on top of my traditional desk. I'm short, so it didn't take many. My boss has promised she'll buy me a real one if I like it, and after about three weeks, the first few days of which my feet hurt like stink, I do like it, so will take her up on it. Stats say you burn about 15% more calories simply by not sitting all day. Can't hurt, and is a passive way to get started on what you want. As our Rori says, we can DO this.
Rebecca -- You know you haven't missed anything--if you've lost a hundred pounds in the past, you know that dropping your calories down to 900 is a mistake, and you'll just put it right back on. One thing I love about MFP is that it adds your workout calories back into your total allowed. Some of us (Heather in the UK, for instance) eat all those calories back to stay at maintenance level, and you have the ability to take a look at those numbers and simply eat part, or none of the workout calories, according to how much you want to lose and how fast you want to lose it. More than anything, though, stay here with these ladies... this kind of support that is both familial and functional is extremely important for me.
Last night was rough--for the new ones, I had a gastric bypass 11 years ago this week, and it was quite successful. I lost down to 137 from 303... took me nearly six years of a quite happy second marriage (to a foodie), but had gained back up to 210 by January of 2015. Lost 43 of that over the last year and a half, but started out too fast and too intent on the numbers to get myself to a sustainable pattern, gained some of that back this last winter. Now, I'm just trying to be one pound lighter than the month before. No more, no less. The ongoing goal is just "be lighter."
But, back to last night, all my triggers were in place--tired from a long day, hadn't eaten a protein bar in the afternoon, so I was over-hungry by dinnertime, picked up one of my trigger foods, pizza, and add to that eating mindlessly in front of the TV and talking to my husband, so not thinking about what I was doing. Ate too much, ate too fast, and did not chew well. Within two hours, I was throwing up, and got to throw up for another two hours solid. Violently enough that it feels as if someone kicked me right in the midsection this morning. So, the aversion therapy part of the surgery still works, because I genuinely despise upchucking.
*sigh* So easy to drop back into old habits. I usually get one piece of pizza and eat it slowly... but I put three small pieces on my plate and ate them all. I KNOW I need to be more mindful, and still I "forget." Trying not to beat myself up for it, but it's a continuing pattern, happens probably four or five times a year. Need to get that down to zero, and that's going to require eating with thought and with attention to my actions.
Anyway, it's a new day--for each of us. We CAN do this--we are stronger than we know.
Love y'all,
Lisa in West Texas6 -
I am on my second cup of tea and ready for work, taking the boys for a quick walk and then off I go..

Put me on anti viral med, oral steroid, steroid ointment, antihistamine, etc. Six prescriptions in all. I'm definitely praying for speedy improvement. I'm COVERED again and pretty miserable.

Good Morning Chickies!
Lisa- Sorry to hear about your evening. Hope you feel better quickly!
Re- Good to hear from you. Sorry about the bad news with the AC again.
Becca- Echoing the sentiment 'You will be missed. Hope all is well!"
Lenora- What a tale! Bees Trees and Power lines.....Good Grief what an experience!
Janet- Praying they fix you up for good this time you poor Dear!!!!
Things are going well here. I must say, I have gotten so focused on my walking and moving, I am surprised how quickly time is flying by! So I read for a couple minutes, throw in a quick post and then do it again later when I can.
Who ever thought I would make exercise MY first priority?! Oh the times, they are a-changing!! LOL
Have a good day all, catch up later!

Hi all
My son replied at last and will ring soon.
He says he is fine and feels it is for the best. Apparently his boss was getting snarky. They have been incredibly understanding, but this latest bout has lasted a long time. He has three months pay to get his act together and find work. Lucky for that, I guess.
Can't stop thinking about him. He finds life a struggle. Was always like that from two years old when his younger brother was born.
Love to all, Heather UK3 -
Morning all! Happy Tuesday! Busy morning, all six kids here already and it's only ten after eight! Putting my super cape on now!3

Janetr sorry for what you are going through!
Last three nights problems in the neighborhood woke me between 1-3. I have a half day today for work. I'm taking tomorrow off and I will just relax. Hopefully no problems tonight.
Mom's 98th birthday today!

Good morning ladies. A sincere thank you for all the care and concern. I do think this morning I'm a bit improved. Instead of being bright puffy ref all over, I'm to a flat dull red.
Lisa, hugs to you. How well I know that feeling. I have not got to the point of vomitting, but several times have been convinced I would have felt better if I did. Hang in there, you are truly an inspiration to all of us. Janetr okc

Janetr I'm sending healing thoughts! So frustrating, hopefully on the right track now.
Becca Enjoy your sabbatical from the digital world. Good for you!
Margaret 98! That's pretty phenomenal...

Heather My 10 year old grandson is a junior version of your son. It worries all of us every day. (((Hugs)))
My patient is doing well, pain meds every 4 hours instead of every 3, and surprising herself with how well she is recuperating.
Best wishes to all...

Janetr- i'm so glad that you found a doctor that is so thorough with his examination. I'm sorry that you are going through such a miserable time. Hopefully the medicine will make you feel better really quickly. (((Hugs)))
Lenora - that was an amazing story! Both of you are fortunate that the bees did not affect you. I am allergic to them and would not have made it through that ordeal.
Allie- Happy Anniversary! I hope that you and Tom can enjoy your day together! I wish you much happiness!
Heather- sorry to hear about your DS. As parents we never stop being concerned about our children no matter how old they are. Hopefully he will find something more suitable. It sounds like moving might be in your future! I did it last year and I am so happy that we did.
Lisa-sorry about you getting so sick! I did the same thing during the football game Sunday night. I had three pieces of pizza as well! However, I did not vomit! I plan for this type of eating. That way I don't feel guilty. I cannot restrict my diet of things I love to eat. That is one reason why I am so committed to exercise every day. I try to stay on a keto diet five days of the week and two days off. I still try to eat a lower calorie count during the weekdays of 1200-1400. Then on the weekend up to 2000. I am still trying to lose a couple of pounds.

Hello @lhannon062709 ! - I read your post - and yes you are so right - everyone here (I'm quickly finding out) are pretty wonderful and supportive. I like your way of thinking - "just to be lighter" - Take care on the eating, you definitely don't want to throw up a lot. It is hard on your retinas. All the best

Allie ~ Happy Anniversary! Please don't let your DH's lack of physical closeness make your feel bad. My DH has had a problem in that area for many years due to health problems and it took me a long time to accept it; but, after much prayer I can honestly say that it doesn't bother me anymore.
Margaret ~ Happy Birthday to your mom.
Lisa ~ So sorry the pizza made you ill. I love pizza. Never had it until I went off to college.
Lenora ~ Sorry your DnL is giving you a hard time. That story about the bees and the tree is scary.
Karen in VA ~ Glad your partner is doing well. See, you are a good nurse!
NSV for me! I have decided to turn off the television and have quiet. For some reason, it's like I need to have something going on all the time. I realize that this is causing me to sit still and not accomplish many things that need to be done. So, I am hoping to move more and sit less.

Happy Tuesday ! ! !
Just a quick fly-by again. Work is still getting busier, and they have eliminated a position, so more and more work. But that's okay, that's why I get a paycheck at the end of the week.
DS is still struggling to decide on his calling for a sport, but that's okay because he just turned 16. He really enjoys setting pins at the bowling alley, so I'm guessing that will eventually be his decision.
DD found herself in a marvelous position regarding work. She is a full-time live-in Nursing Assistant at an Assisted Living house. She shares a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 others with the same position. And the luckiest thing; she gets to have her dog live with them, too. I think she is going to try to find some training so he can become a therapy dog. He's already 2, so we'll see how that goes for them. At least she no longer lives in her Dad's basement.
DH is still the same. He keeps eating junk thinking his metformin will do all the work for him. I keep trying to sneak in fruits and vegetables, but about 1/2 the time he can tell. He finally took down the waterbed that no one has slept on in about 2 years, so hopefully we can get some exercise equipment in there. Or at least a DVD player for yoga for me
My ankle is still broken, but the Orthopedic decided that since it is so strong it will stay that way. I will be getting a different kind of brace to wear, that will keep a more constant pressure on the bone, in hopes that keeping the 2 pieces close together will facilitate quicker healing. She believes there are only micro-tears in the tendon, so physical therapy a few more months, to continue strengthening the surrounding muscles, and hopefully I can get out of the brace within a few more months. It really rarely hurts unless I do a pivot kind of movement while walking, or bang it against something. I am not very limited for exercise anymore, so I hope to switch back to losing weight again, instead of just maintenance. At least I can feel in my clothing that the exercises I have been doing are keeping my size in check.
Hugs for Everyone ! ! !

Today, I didn't do anything on my list of things I was supposed to do. I had to water this silly plant outside my front door that was almost dead. Before I could get that done I got sidetracked and did laundry, cleaned the kitchen, paid bills, weeded out the back garden and pruned, hauled all of that out to the front for garbage day tomorrow, then was so dirty I had to shower and run to Trader Joe's for something for dinner tonight. That was when I walked by that blasted plant again.... finally 5 hours later I watered it. Looked at the list and checked off Trader Joe's and that was it. Ugh!! Mama said there'd be days like this, days like this my mama said....
Sometimes when I have days like that where I keep getting sidetracked from my list to get other things done, I will just add those other things onto my list and cross them off. Meaningless, except that it makes me feel like I have accomplished something that day.

JanetR: I am happy you've had a bit of improvement, but sorry you're still dealing with your skin problems. A flat rash is better than a puffy rash. I hope that the medicines and ointments do their jobs quickly. :flowerforyou:
Heather: Your DH is a prince to be willing to move closer to the grandchildren. Thinking it over carefully is very smart. I'm so glad you heard from your son even though the news wasn't great. I hope he is able to find another job quickly.
Allie: Loss of libido can be caused by emotional and/or physical issues. Has Tom had a recent doctor check-up? If not, it might be a good idea. :flowerforyou:
Margaret: Happy 98th birthday to your mom!
Terri in Milwaukee: It is good to hear from you. Your daughter seems to be in a really good situation and that is very good news. A fulltime job with housing AND permission to keep her dog with her is fabulous. :flowerforyou:
meuy43: I agree with Linda in Iowa. List making helps me feel productive. Crossing things off is such a nice feeling, no matter what order I get things done.
DD is pregnant, having health issues, and cranky. I'm trying to be supportive and make arrangements to go to IL and be with her. My husband is also a poster boy for health issues and leaving him behind is scary. He won't come so I'll have to deal with it. Wish me luck all the way around. I'm trying to negotiate with DD about when I'll arrive and leave. It is a toughie because the situation for her is not stable.

Mary/MN – OMG! Glad your reactions were quick and that you were not harmed. I read somewhere that over 100 people are killed each year by falling trees in the U.S. Probably not what you wanted to hear. We are all counting are blessings that you are uninjured.
Becca – I know you won’t read this, but know we are thinking of you as you take your digital holiday.
Allie – Happy Anniversary.
Terri – Hugs! Hope you heal quickly.
Yesterday was a good day. Exercised and stayed on track with my food. Today, the fire alarm went off about half way through my workout. They weren’t asking people to evacuate as there did not appear to be any issue, but the noise was so obnoxious that I gave up and left. Will have to find another way to move more today.
Homecoming week at our high school this week. Fun to see my daughter and her friends dress up – yesterday was character day – she was Sadness from Inside Out. Today is dress as your favorite decade day. We pulled out an old denim shirt and an old denim jacket from my closet and she is going as a 90’s girl today.

JanetR, I was very suspicious about that awful rash that responded very quickly to oral and topical and then came back just as bad. Course of problem was not found at all. Was it a doctor you saw while you were camping or did you consult you own? Hope he finds the cause and gets it gone forever.
Allie, I don't know whether to say happy anniversary to you or not. For now I just put in lower case. I was wondering when he brought you flowers, bought you a car what was happening. You had also said that you were buying some 3x leggings. Does he give you more love when you are heavy? He feels more secure in the marriage that your more healthy body isn't a threat to your marriage?
I have one of those wrist B/P cuffs and was wondering if it was just as good as the wonderful old fashioned arm cuff and stethescope. So I took it yesterday when i went to the doctor since I knew they used the old fashioned way. So I had mine on one wrist while she took it on the other arm and it was just almost the exact same reading. So I am satisfied that mine is accurate. Now it isn't accurate to my family doc but they use the arm one that is mechanically pumped. I felt a little weird today, not bad weird just different, and my B/P was 116/64!!!!!! Rechecked it and it's the same. Hasn't been that for absolutely years.
