Had a weird paddle session today. Got to the beach and the tide was out...I mean, really, really out...so I had to trudge through a bit of sludge and sea grass to get to where I could put the board down. Most of my route the tide was so low, I had to be careful to not drag the fin of my board or bang my paddle on the bottom. Places that were chest deep on Saturday were only ankle to knee deep today. I did get stuck at one point, but was able to get free relatively quickly. Saw lots of huge fish too, which wasn't usual. Guess they knew the fishermen couldn't get their boats in the area, so they were having a free for all swim. Still had a pretty good time with the distance since the water was super flat today. Will have to watch the tides for tomorrow.
