    Do you?

I never see anyone who has gotten their body fat under 20% with saggy tums

I'm not there yet. I'm at maybe 23-24%. Definitely hope to get rid of it, but it's still very soft and wiggly on the outside of some nice abs hidden underneath

Everyone looks just fantastic! Such power, strength and dedication! You all should be so proud of your accomplishments!:drinker:

To the haters...seriously, why try to be so negative? No one cares and just trying to rile people up that have found a passion and changed their bodies isn't anything to slash and tear down, but celebrate! Pfft. I suppose your mothers never taught you "if you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, don't say anything at all". :ohwell:

To everyone who is interested in lifting, you won't regret it!

I am looking to start lifting but don't know where to start as dumb as this sounds, what do you think for new rules of lifting for women? Thanks

Also all the women on this thread look incredible!

I read NRLFW before I started lifting, mostly to educated myself. I haven't done the program that the book guides you on but I probably will when I get tired of my own routines or feel I'm not seeing results/pushing myself enough. So far so good though

As far as the people with the questions re: dodgy back- read and watch as many videos as you can on how to perform the big three exercises (squats, deadlifts, bench press) and build from there. Take it slow. Listen to your body.

Ladies- don't be scared to get in the weight room with the boys! You have every right to be there, as much as they do. It was scary for me too at first (like REALLY intimidating) but you will build confidence the more you do it.

and finally,@ghostrider197 - Thanks, sweet of you to say. I <3 being a ginger too

This post is just full of awesome sauce! I am halfway to my weight goal and just started with some lifting. Nothing heavy yet, but hope to get there. I love the way a muscular body looks and without sounding wackado you ladies are drool worthy!

Some of the women, even without taking roids, look mannish...like the lady doing dead lifts. Oh well. Some women want to be mannish. All imo.

Do you even lift? Since you're a man, it will probably make you more "mannish".

LOL...that can only be an improvement - maybe it's a little jealousy speaking cause the poster would like some "mannish" looks on himself????

I just started lifting heavy weights. I like the change I'm seeing so far. it's only been 2 months of 4 days splits, with cardio.. How long did it take you to get those awesome results?? I would like to lose wt as well but it seems the scale is not budging more then a pound or 2 every week.. that is starting to drive me nuts.. I'm using measuring now as an indicator of inches lost.. any suggestions or advice would be great. thanks

My before/after is not nearly as impressive BUT I did lose 20 lbs since February by cleaning up my diet and joining a gym and lifting weights. I also have been pole dancing for 2 years but started lifting "heavy" to get stronger and burn fat as well...
dont mind my stupid face lol....this is me at 123 lbs and 23% body fat. I would like to be at around 18% so I'm focusing on losing the 'last' 10 lbs and getting leaner.

I started heavy lifting (Stronglifts 5x5) on Monday. You ladies have been an inspiration to me...Yanicka1, SaraUK and others. I have stalked your threads countless times.

As far as my own story goes...I am but barely 6 pounds away from my post law school weight and look radically different. I know now the reason is that I was doing SOME strength training back then.

Looking forward to adding my own pics here one day.

Only six months? Really? I must be doing my training wrong. Been at it since before Christmas, have had results but no where near your results. DAMN, girl!
