  • Good morning everyone,

    I'm just coming in here to stay accountable over the weekend and not over do it I did great yesterday I didn't track my food but it was a good day breakfast was kind of high but I curved the rest of the day to fit!! I actually haven't logged food or exercise for the last 3 days so I am going to be back on track with that today

    Welcome to all of the newbies glad to have another great group for the month of July feel free to stop in for tips and ideas, advice or just to vent we are all here to support each other efforts!!

    Hey everyone, I would like to come back for July as well. Didn't do that great in June. I injured my ankles and had to stop the Insanity program. I almost gave up but I've decided to get back on the horse (or bike, lol). For now I will bike for cardio and hopefully can work back into running this month.

    cnbethea- I LOVE the new hair! It looks great!! That was a great reward- such a great way to feel good about yourself, which inspires you to keep going!

    I had a great diet and water day yesterday, so I decided to weigh in again this morning to see if yesterday's 4 pound gain was still there. I was down 2.9 from yesterday, so only a 1.1 gain for the week last week. With TOM due, I can deal with that :)

    Good Morning Everyone! I decided to take a peek at my weight this morning (since TOM is gone) and I have lost all of my water weight and then some (4.4lbs to be exact! :noway: )..
    So with that being said, I'd like to up my loss goal for the month of July from 5lbs to 10. It's a holiday weekend so watch what you eat and drink LOTS of water. Be safe and have a wonderfully blessed weekend :flowerforyou:

    Hi can I join this group? My name is Michelle, i'm a mother of 4 boys and since May of last year i've been trying to get ride of all the weight from all those pregnancies. lol I'm a procrastinator but with my birthday coming up next month I have a goal of making it to at least 140. So my goal for July is to lose 10 lbs.

  • Good morning I have been really careful since Friday and not over doing the weekend like I normally do but I got on the scale this morning for another challenge I want to join and I am up 2lbs:sad: giving the fact that I didn't log 3 days and TOM came on Tuesday I am not going to beat myself up but this really sucks. I am not going to log this on my ticker because I think it will bum me out and I may self sabotage myself something I don't want to do. So the plan is to continue to be good today drink plenty of water and log and workout everyday this week! Next Monday has to be better!!:bigsmile:

    Good morning everyone!

    I completely forgot to weigh in this morning (and yesterday morning I was 184.0- I was hoping to get under that!). Oh well. It's the 4th of July, I'm a little aprehensive. I'm scared that tomorrow, I'm just going to say "Screw it all." and eat bad all over again.

    My goal today is hit maintenance levels. If I'm under, even better. Oh, and no sodas today! Water only!

    Happy 4th! Day 2 of the weekend and I'm doing much better than last weekend. I officially took a rest day from exercise yesterday but I had to clean the blowup swimming pool so that counted for something. I barbequed some awsome chicken and had chicken sandwiches instead of burgers and no cheese. I haven't logged it all in yet but I think I did pretty good. Today we are deciding on where to get ice cream. ugh. If I workout, I think I can stand a small treat. It's sooo hot.

    Hey girlfriend, don't worry too much. 2 lbs is probably good for TOM. It's all water anyway so be kind to yourself and you'll continue to see results. Glad your weekend is going well. :flowerforyou:

    Good Monday to you groupies :). I had a good weekend up until last night and then blew it with a wrap and fries. If what I logged was close though, I was still under maint cals. Today will be a better day :).

    MFPfriend, hey, if you are under maint, then it's no backward progress, so it's still a success!

    Cnbethea- keep up the good work with not overdoing it on the weekend! I am proud to see you meet THAT goal! The two pounds will be gone next week so don't stress it.

    Congrats on the pound Tiara! You are really doing a great steady job!

    Ebonia- good work on the chicken sammies! That sounds yummier to me than a burger anyway! Did you get your ice cream?

    All of the kiddos are gone today except the baby so cleaning is on the agenda. It's dreadfully hot here today, so the windows are closed and the ac is on, which I HATE. It makes me not wanna do a thing!

    Jessica 2 out of 3 on the weekend is great and you were under your calories so that's another good day in my book!! So way to go over the weekend.........

    Well everyone I will settle for 2 out of the3 days yesterday wasn't so great I don't really feel like I went over board as far as eating but I had a few drinks which I haven't done in a long while but hey this weekend has been way better than the last 2 by far so I am very proud of that.

    Another goal for myself is if I can't figure how to track it then I can't eat it I wont miss another day tracking this month!!

    Still up on weight but I weighed in this morning and my measurments are down and the funny thing is I didn't feel bloated during TOM but now that it is going away I'm bloated is that crazy or what so anyway that leaves great promise for next week may mean even more inches!!:happy: Oh and also I put on and closed my size 8 jean skirt Woooooooohoooooooo!!! :flowerforyou: I was totally stoked by that!!

    Cnbethea great about the size 8 jean skirt, that 2lb gain will go real quick.

    Trusunshine - fantastic for your loss this week thats great with a 4.4lb loss, you should easily make your goal this month.

    i jumped on the scales this morning expecting to have a gain show, especially as i didnt get in much exercise last wek as i normally do with having to work extra hours last week, and i also pigged out on Thorntons chocolates - which are so yummy!!

    well to my surprise i lost 2lb, so i was pleased.

    Now i have finished school until september i really have to up the running and gym, and as i only have 3 weeks yesterday until my holiday, i need to get to my goal by then.

    Down 1lb this morning. After an intense game of ball hockey last night in 37 degree (celsius) weather with the humidex and only one sub player I was hoping to be a bit lower, but c'est la vie :smile: I figured I sweat out a gallon or two...
