For those of you reaching 18-20,000 steps I was curious how you are doing that daily if you are working a typical 8-9 hr or more job? Any suggestions?!
Also has anyone had issues with the accuracy of their Fitbit step counting? Specifically the zip ? It's seems as if mine is way under.
Assuming 1800 steps is a mile and that you can walk 3 miles per hour
Get up early 20 min walk =1800
Shower breakfast then walk an hour to work = 5400
Take every opportunity to walk at work then lunchtime 30 mins walk = 2700
Then walk an hour home =5400
Walk 10 mins before dinner =900
Then 20 mins before going to bed there you go 18000+

I have a new plan that fits in. We get terrible cell phone reception inside our house, so I went outside to call my father the other day. I figured I would be out for a while so I started walking around the neighborhood. We talked for nearly half an hour. Now about three nights a week, I call someone while I walk and it makes for a great time.5

Hi, can anyone recommend a DVD or book that helps you find the right walking form/posture? I work at a desk all day and have been told I have bad running form. I gained 20 lbs over the last couple of years, and would like to start with walking to get back into shape because I've tried other exercises but I always feel really exhausted and sleepy afterwads. I'm really excited to join everyone.3

Just walk as tall as you can head up swing your arms a little but most of all smile4 -
I'm kind of trying to walk more, I've not been concerned with the days I do walk it's the off days that bother me so I'm thinking maybe I should have a target.
So we are 12 days in I've done just over 155000 steps plus 27k of running
What do guys think a target for he month should be ?0 -
