    It is cheap.

    That’s it. Most folks I know who shop at Walmart also think it is a garbage company that treats its employees like crap but they can’t afford other places to shop.

    Because medical care here is expensive to an insane degree, and cost of living is rising much faster than wages, so a lot of folks are struggling financially.

    Also in many places, there may be no real access to public transportation, and gas is also expensive, so you choose to go one place to get everything you need- and walmart will often have that too.

    I know of almost no one who ‘likes’ walmart, just many who shop there.

    I follow this person on social media who lost some weight last year with weight watchers. They've since stopped WW, but now they spend all their time spouting about how we should love our bodies regardless of size and diets are so bad and on and on.
    .....where was the self-love you speak of so frequently now before WW?
