were you using the mobile site or the app itself? sometimes it differs by that as well as what type of phone you have is all
I'm using the mobile site.
It keeps coming and going. I had never seen it before, it sure would be helpful. It worked once, now it's coming up as an afterthought after I press post.

I'm using the mobile site.

mine doesn't usually have a preview unless i'm viewing the desktop version via the mobile site, vs the app. i always have to make sure i'm using the desktop version for the preview in my phones browser esp when i post a gif or jpeg too otherwise i'm paranoid i'm going to post the wrong thing.
I don't usually see it on the app, just the browser.
It is the browser, then it showed up once! Like magic. After I press post I get it...useless!

On my mind now is that thankfully I posted the right pictures seeing how I can't preview!
You people with should cherish your preview function!
And note to self...buy more common phone for less compatibility issues0 -

yeah if your browser has a "request desktop site" button or checkbox, try that, you'll prob have to reload the page but doing that typically makes it look just like you're using an actual desktop and you'll have the preview button then. i do at least.

Thank you! I will use that every time I want to post a pic or gif from my phone...this is excellent!
Always learning on mfp...todays lesson was how to not humiliate myself posting pics/gifs!

Yep..I do this"request desktop" if I want to checkout someones profile which you can't do in app1 -
