When I am driving it is a point of pride for me that pedestrians have the right of way and I will stop a little ways back from the crosswalk to make sure that the walkers know they are safe with me. You shouldn’t have to rush to get across the street.
When I am walking it is a point of arrogance for me that I belong there and I have the right of way. I walk with purpose but I run for nobody😂3 -
Triggered by conversation so quick story -
Got into a huge blowout with my ex while driving so I decided at the next red light I'ma hop out and walk my *kitten* home bc that'll show him I walked a mile and a half before I realized my only way home was to cross a major highway and I almost did the phone call of shame before some innocent lost last asked me for directions and I told her I could show her where to go but I'd need a ride across the highway then I informed her I couldn't find my way out of a paperb bag so good luck with thank you for the ride6 -

We. Are. The. Same.
Except sometimes it's because it's a good song with a good beat and no way am I going to slow down.
And I actually do hold my hand up to thank people for stopping to let me cross the street or a driveway because people can be such *kitten*

I wave thanks too! I thought it was because I’m a New Yorker 😂0 -
People crossing streets?
On foot?
😂
Only place it really happens here is downtown.
I’m not a fan of eye contact with strangers, I walk looking down.
I have walked straight into a sign before, it about dropped me. 🤣2 -
While I was at the store earlier I overheard a man that worked there explaining why they had not one head of cauliflower.
He said they couldn’t get any and it was $9. a head! 😳2 -

Broccoli, sweet potato, cottage cheese. Here is what makes it sad: paper plate, plastic fork, cooked in microwave, eating at my desk2 -

I really really wish I didn’t know what that tastes like 🤗2 -
Also I feel like the sadness of the meal would’ve had more impact if I had shown you all the frozen broccoli before I microwaved it0

Idk…I’m in the minority. I don’t think it looks sad. It’s food! I’d be a little sad if I didn’t also have some chicken….ground, breast, I’m not picky. Maybe I’m just a gross person.2 -

My dad...6 years ago he left us.
But he was fiesty and hours before he died fought with the nurse trying to get him to agree to go to a hospice and sign a DNR.
So I'm watching sappy movies in his honour cause he loved those....well I kinda do too 🤣 I'll blame Ralphie for that5 -
I am thinking of the unfairness of life - my mom no longer being with me, my daughter deciding I was never a mom to her and cutting me outof her life -- I am doing my best to keepn myself together.4

The cluster**** of today,, 3 places to be, food everywhere I go. How many pieces of turkey can I possibly eat in one day.
But I'm gonna put on my big boy pants, polish my boots, bring my guitar and enjoy the time I can spend with family trying to remember they may not all be here tomorrow.
And if I get really lucky, I may even get a nap in somewhere !4 -
