I think the lack of day to day human interactions has made me more personable and social on the rare occasion I come across another human. It's odd.

Will this process turn me into an extrovert.

Even if it does.. don’t worry. It’s probably not irreversible

Are you in the states? It seems like you aren’t but i can’t remember. It’s bad over here right now. And I don’t even mean because we are crushing the coronavirus numbers game.

People are losing their damn minds.

At best you have the odd Death Rate Specialist who insists this virus is not to be feared because more people have died from other causes. They are relatively harmless and mostly just inflict their terrible math on us in the form of a facebook post that usually looks something like this: “Can someone help me with the math here because I don’t see how a harmless virus that only affects 20% of the population and has only killed 30,000 people is that big a deal” They are not actually asking for help, of course.

It generally goes downhill from there. I mean a substantial portion of the population (substantial = any number greater than one imo) believes that the government is lying to them or that the pandemic is a hoax or that this is all being overblown to take their rights away. They think if they eat herbs that they’ll be immune and that it’s criminal that hospitals aren’t just injecting people with vitamin C. An astonishing number of people believe that viruses aren’t even real, and that the symptoms of the so-called “coronavirus” are in fact due to 5G exposure. Some think that everything is just a conspiracy to get Trump out of office because Jesus sent him to fix everything Obama did wrong. People are coughing on others on purpose as a form of terrorism (yes really) and some dude tried to drive a train into the USS Mercy because he wanted to save the citizens from the nefarious government plot he was certain was unfolding inside. A man murdered a cop because he was afraid the cop had the virus when he pulled him over.

    Holy crazies😐

Yep, that's the sad state of affairs here in the states. I expect there will be more "Florida Man-esque" stories in the near future, too.

California Man really gave Florida Man a run for his money today

Yeah, no *kitten*. I want to say "I'm shocked", but I'm not really. It takes a lot to out Florida Florida Man.

I dunno, I'm doing okay..... but I gotta admit, if I run out of coffee, the body-count on this whole Covid-19 thing is going to sky-rocket.

Yeah, it's crazy what's going on. I have a lot of the same feelings on it. I keep track of numbers, and will comment on it from time to time because of how rapid it's occurring. But, the people who still think it's a joke, conspiracy, etc just drives me nuts. I'll keep comments about some of the behaviours from a small percentage of medical professionals gates my nerves....

Ever since this *kitten* started, it seems the world has lost its mind.

Family member is a cop and said that people are coughing on cops to get out of tickets, claiming they have the coronavirus. 😕

They said that from now on if someone purposely coughs on them, they are getting charged with assault.

People probably thought it was funny and a way to get out of paying a ticket, but they know nothing of these cops and their families..... how many people could get sick and possibly die because someone didnt want to pay a fine and "thought it would be funny"??? 😢😢😢

A guy was arrested here yesterday for coughing on strangers and gleefully telling them he had the virus. I believe he coughed on the arresting officers as well

Lost my ability to edit for some reason so I had to post what I had written. Anyway, just wanted to wrap up by asking if this sort of thing is happening in other countries?

    WOW

Can't say I've heard anything like that happening here yet. Big news here today is there is a new by-law that people will get a $750-5000 fine if not 'social distancing' in parks (playgrounds have all been taped off, shut down, but now you can't stop to talk to people in person, in parks only? Not sure). People are encouraged to report such happenings if they are repeated too.

The "should you or shouldn't you" wear a mask out in public is a dodgy question for the health professionals here, it seems.

I did witness something scary the other day - some idiot racing through a parking lot, blowing through all the stop signs and weaving in and out of on-coming traffic like he just robbed a bank.

they already made face masks mandatory down in laredo. you have to wear one in public or any open businesses or be fined like $1000.

i kinda hope that law goes live nationwide tbh

cause i mean, yknow, the banks are still open. and i got a really nice ski mask or two. and hey folks the laws the law amirite

My bank is only doing business via drive through or by appointment. I was wondering if there’d be a run on banks
