St. Louis city is such a boring city. I should have picked a different city to celebrate my birthday in.

Every city is boring when you are used to it.

I never get bored of Chicago. I always tell people who drive past St.Louis to not blink otherwise they'll miss it. There's not much to do there.

Interesting that both faith and fear share a common belief in something a person doesn't see, but more people fear things in life than believe in things. Wouldn't it be wonderful if it was exactly the opposite?

    Like anal probing aliens

I have it on good authority that it's actually the aliens who do the probing and not the other way around, so if you thought that you were going to pitch up on the saucer, well, fuhgeddaboudit!

Annnnnd that's why my nickname was "Moment Ruiner".

I gave you that nickname when I threw up all over you and your car so many years ago.

How sad and completely unsurprising it is to see how people treat other people who they know are suffering.

No wonder so many people advocate complete annihilation of the human species.

Taking the time to listen and care a bit is kind of a lost art

People are doing their best. We can be horrible creatures, but also wonderful. There's a reason when people are at their worst. One that we can overcome, but perhaps not alone.

I still think we will have Star Trek in our future. We just need to get it together, which is not easy.

Fair enough. It's hard to see the positives in humanity when you live with the looming cloud of clinical depression 100% of the time. Good to know some are still putting good vibes out there.

Need more people like that in the universe.

For some reason I got a random survey about the forums to take today. It just popped up out of no where. I suggest if you get it that you explain any issues you have with the forums on it.

Over all I didn't have many issues with the forums and find them a nice place to kill time. I mean get support for fitness.

Have you seen Interstellar? It wasn't random. That was you sending yourself that survey.

What's on my mind is sourdough and satisfaction. I have been cultivating sourdough for making pizza dough for over a year now. Each time I exhaust the sourdough starter I must add more water and flour, then let it sit out overnight to well establish the culture. The next morning, after affirming that I see many bubbles, I put it into the refrigerator to slow it while I make a new batch of dough balls twice each month. I eat a lot of pizza. Two weeks ago I reached the point of having to add more water and flour and set out overnight. For 14 overdays and overnights. I forgot to refrigerate it. Tonight I realized my error and discarded the moldy mess. My satisfaction arises from the fact that I had a second store of sourdough in the refrigerator for random other baking purposes. That second supply had been rarely used and rarely refreshed. Indeed, there was very little of it. I used some of the secondary supply to start my new batch of pizza dough, adding water and flour to it and setting it aside at room temperature. After 5 hours I peeked inside and saw bubbles. Not a lot, but real bubbles indicating life. I am satisfied that tomorrow morning I'll be able to start making another batch of pizza dough.

And you have just inspired me to make sourdough starter. Everyone in this household loves sourdough recipes.
