The fact that I can't go back to sleep and want to head out for a jog. I will not though. 😠 ... Last day of heat in our part of the world ... Bring on the cooler temps... Yay.
Love how quiet Saturday morning always is.1 -
.... And the monotony that is my mother's family is true to form. I am so happy to not be in their spaces to have to feel as though I need to be civil. Their penchant for executing all tasks with a perfunctory attitude, jars me to the core. I cannot believe that I even share some genes with those nincompoops.3

Also hopefully these interviews go well tomorrow, we could do with more artists 😜
Good luck with the interviews tomorrow! Purchasing a few pieces wouldn't be amiss.

I was thinking of being this freaky nun this Halloween, as I'd watched the movie. 👏👏👏

This person and I say person because they are no kind of therapist does not deserve your money.
I have medicaid, so that probably has something to do with it. She thinks the place is below her. She brings her resentment into our sessions.SurfyPantsAgainAgain wrote: »bootyrubsandtacos wrote: »bootyrubsandtacos wrote: »I’m starting to think my therapist is a sociopath. A lot of things. I’m having some health issues and family problems.Bullet_with_Butterfly_Wings wrote: »bootyrubsandtacos wrote: »I’m starting to think my therapist is a sociopath. You are absolutely not wrong for thinking that. I would stop seeing this person immediately as your wellbeing is being compromised. She may not be a sociopath, but she is surely an idiot.
I wish I could, but my insurance is awful when comes to mental health. I have been through 4 different therapists in the past 7 months. I really don’t get anything out of therapy I just go to keep my dr’s privileges.
I could understand if she quickly took off her shoe to check her toe, but she took off both of her shoes and proceeded to pick at one of her toes for the last 10 mins of our session. She likes to eat during our sessions too. She’s either munching on a huge bag of chips or candy. Like she’ll talk to me with her mouth full of food. She’s really strange and annoying.
I have commented on your posts before regarding this matter. Eating during therapy, toe picking etc is so unprofessional. They are signs of distraction to me, she's paid to listen and if she isn't doing that I suggest you move on to someone who is fully present.
I’ve been through 4 different therapist at this place and I can’t leave because I can’t find another mental health clinic that takes my insurance in this swamp. Everyone who works there is unprofessional. Including my psychiatrist.Bullet_with_Butterfly_Wings wrote: »bootyrubsandtacos wrote: »bootyrubsandtacos wrote: »I’m starting to think my therapist is a sociopath. You should call her out.
What kind of mental health professional makes a mockery of those who come to them for help?
I don't know what type of therapy you are doing with her but I believe traditional "talk therapy" to be useless in the long term. I do hope you explore other options and I wish you all the best.
I think it’s useless too. This place is actually making my anxiety worse. My new insurance takes affect in November, so I’m hoping I’ll have better luck finding a new place.

Man, would she hurry up and have this Baby so I can call out for work tonight 🙄😂8

It has occured to me that I need to pay more attention to the words and phrases I choose.
I have a pretty thick Okie dialect,
I'm old and tend to use old phrases and sayings as well.
I write like I talk.
Put all together I realize that some people may not know what I'm saying.
I've gotten lazy with my speech over the years,
I need to work on that.2 -

I think wrenches aren't deserving of their bum rap. They're so handy and easy to use. People should say that they had a table saw thrown into their plan. Or a chainsaw. That'd be a real disaster.0

I think the saying means to actually throw a wrench into something - like if someone were riding their bike and I threw a wrench into their wheel spokes; but I could be completely wrong and maybe I've misinterpreted this wrong my whole life
Nah, I think your interpretation is correct. I guess throwing pretty much anything into a machine (or bike spokes) would be bad, but why wrenches? Shouldn't it be a clog or something?0 -

I was talking about the wooden shoe. Wouldn't a cog make things run smoother? I'd be all about people adding cogs.

For goodness sakes! Still dealing with people using my pics on fake profiles, but I am starting to just think some folks shouldn't be allowed online. Like, ever! I mean, check this message out below. And I kid you not, these are serious situationsnot just scam email. I have had people call me after finding my phone number somewhere, or even contact me at work. Unreal to even believe a single peice of this! The scammers even did a terrible copy and paste of my photo on a fake passport!
One of several messages I received in the last few weeks:Hi Michael!
My name is XXXX and you dont know me.
My aunt is currently being scammed by someone using your photos. I can see by my research it’s been an ongoing problem with people using your photos and you are aware.
My Aunt is completely in denial and waiting for you to get out of a Turkish prison for not paying your $230k hospital bill. (must suck)
I am wondering if I could trouble you to make a quick & easy video off your phone to help me break through to her and stop sending money.
Her name is Judi and she needs to know that:
You are not from Georgia
Never been to Turkey
Do not have $230,000 owed to a turkish hosptial.
Not going to jail
Dont have 2 daughters
Your wife is not dead
You are happily married
Never spoken to XXXX before
I can go on but you get it.
I can be reached at XXXXXXXXXXX and will try calling you later.
Sorry to bug you but im at my wits end.
Thanks2 -

Where do these people come from? I've seen stories about catfishing, obviously, but I've never known a person whose photos who used as the catfish
Been going on for years. Crazy stuff...had people call my wife and stuff too. Very invasive and one reason I ain't posting much for pics anymore.2 -

Ahhh ...gotcha@clog. I was thinking of a cog ...one tooth in a mechanism. Many cogs turns the wheel. If one is out of alignment, mechanical failure.
**I'd noticed your return ... Welcome back!!2
