    I've procrastinated long enough,
time to take the scissors to my hair.

You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness
You can get addicted to a certain kind of sadness

or sometimes so comfortable it feels like home

Studies have shown people who are sad to be more artistic, forgiving, generous, willing to help, empathetic, sympathetic, and kind...

It's one of the main reasons why we care about helping one another 🤓❤️

And love bluesy music so much

You had until bluesy music. I like to listen to stuff that will help lift my spirits.

i like sad music bc it feels like empathy

I can see your point. Sad music for me makes me cry, sometimes it’s good and is a release of emotions, other times it makes it worse. However, I’m always a sucker for a good, sappy, love song.

It's a weird thing of mine honestly...

My music has to sound kinda bluesy, the worst songs are songs devoid of blues...

    Example... The Titanic song 🤮😂
I don't know if you want to call that, happy, sad, or wtf... But it doesn't have any hint of bluesy imo anyhow...

Compared to the rolling stones "Wild horses" bluesy song, still don't know if it's a happy or sad song really... But oh man, I'll drink to that and fall into deep nostalgia, thinking of those who've come and gone and happy or sad, just appreciate life...

I had one nest at my old place in the woods. Was a falcon. Named him Xerxes. Never brought me dinner though.

I'd settle for an owl or two

Owls are cool too! The snowy owls are really pretty

    Is happiness a choice?

Good question. Personally I think it’s a complicated answer because it involves different variables and perspectives. After all, can you be held accountable for not knowing any better?

Yeah, I know it's totally subjective but the mind is a powerful thing and perspective is everything. Even in the face of a dark wall of negativity and you just override it and say "frak it", turn around and see the light?

It is a choice, how we can react to everything?

I believe it largely is. The old saying life is 10% what life deals you and 90% how you handle it would go a long way in explaining happiness. I dont think one needs to always be happy to experience happiness, but the less you deal in dread the more happy you will be i believe.

    Right on.
