Day 12 compete including cleaning, however, it should be noted that I did not wash all walls down, but rather spot cleaned them. Window cleaning is also included in the January challenge and given that I cleaned my windows this fall and it is winter where I live, I will not be including window cleaning in my January challenge.
Even with these modifications, I have to say, I'm getting a lot more done this month with respect to cleaning than I ever would have done on my own.

Thank the Lord I live in a small apartment, if it was any bigger I'd have to quit my day job just to keep it clean and organized. Don't know how people with full on houses do it.... I'd hire out even if it put me in the poor house.
So, got all curtains and half the windows clean and the bathroom regular maintanence done again. I'm looking to paint some spots on the walls that need touching up but...... I'd rather watch videos of squats and hip thrusts.

You get very very very efficient. It's part of the reason why I moved back in with my parents after my Mom had an accident a few years back. She was quasi invalid for over a year (complex knee injury with long recovery) and the house is on 2 floors with a large garden. I pay minimal rent and did the lion's share of the work. It's closer to 50% now, but still it's a huge time sink every week just doing the basic cleaning.

Wow @ladyreva78 , that's what I'm talking about, sounds like what I remember farm work to be like - all and every day and night.

@klove808 it's not as bad as farm life... But if you add 2 cats and a dog to the mix it kinda turns into a losing battle. There's NO way to keep the floor clean when it's raining outside. Not to mention everything I own is covered in cat hair... you wouldn't believe the places I find hair...

Everyone's back and the campus is getting too busy for me to do challenges especially as self-conscious as I am so I think I'll have to drop for now and do other kinds of exercises instead, though hopefully I'll find a way and be able to catch up later on. It was nice to do this while I could though.

Done up to day 16 with legs.
As an adult, I've only had dogs, fish & a hermit crab. When my father retired, I inherited his cat. THERE IS CAT HAIR EVEYWHERE!!! Ceilings, walls, light fixtures, EVERYWHERE!!!

Good morning everyone. I've been away IN A DEEP, DARK FUNK I worked out Tuesday and it felt great, so I exercised again yesterday . . . I think I'm back for good. I haven't been able to be consistent since November, but I appreciate each of you pushing forward! This journey is hard. My original goal includes losing another 40 pounds by July 1st. Before November, I had no doubt I would reach this goal, now . . . I'm not so sure. I'm trying to keep my eyes on the prize, but life . . . *kitten* keeps happening, uggghhhhh!
I'm going to begin trying to catch up today. PROGESS, not perfection!
In an effort to change my mojo, I got a haircut yesterday - my first in about 10 years. Not a trim, a CUT!!! I'm ready for all things good. I'm releasing all the negative. I'm ready for my happier, healthier life!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning. Nice to be thought of! Litany tonight & funeral tomorrow . . . I will, however, workout both days. It's amazing how much better you feel with a little exercise! It's also amazing how quickly the muscles snap back. I had fallen in love with the definition I was beginning to develop in my arms. Then, I got lazy/sad/dark & didn't workout; my arms felt like jelly. A few days back in & my arms feel like steel (not really, but in my mind I'm quite buff!)

That's the mindset! Any progress is progress. And since we are human perfection is a bit out of all our collective reach. Not to mention, perfection is no fun.
And speaking of change... at least your attempt to change your mojo doesn't include quitting your well paid job to go back to college for 4 years and get a second diploma in a field that, while rewarding, probably won't pay nearly as well.
Still don't know how I'm going to finance it all, student loans aren't a thing around these parts.

I have an awful habit of rewarding myself with food. If I have a great week of eating and work outs then I feel I deserve a 'treat'. This is often wine or a mass amount of food. The following day it feels far from a 'treat' :-( need to break this bad cycle and detrimental habit2 -

Did a lot of cleaning and reorganizing tonight. Not sure it's really caught up yet tho.
