Your 'binge' must not have been so bad, you still lost this week! Normal to be upset if we get off track, but we're humans living in society and it happens.
I had a day this week where the was a big celebration at work. Literally, my favorite food truck (chicken & waffles) was there, and they had mini cakes from my favorite cake place. And champagne. Then in the evening there was a going away party for a co-worker at a fancy bar with amazing appetizers.
I made my choices consciously; ate half of a mini cake, all my chicken and waffles, and just sampled appetizers. Had some wine and champagne. And I didn't feel bad about it at all! If I'm gonna go off track, I decided to do it only if it's worth it... And these were my faves. When I got home that night, I had to walk the dog so I made a long walk/ jog out of it to help burn extra calories.
Then the next day, back to normalcy! That day didn't derail my whole week. I'm proud of the control I did have, normally in those situations I would have gone full on with everything. Knowing there is a weigh in and people in the same boat actually is making a difference!!7 -

Thanks a lot. It's a huge lifestyle change since I have been dormant for the past two years, but each day I find myself getting more motivated to push towards my goal. Forums like this serve as added motivation. Thanks everyone for the inspiration. Wish you all well moving forward.4 -

Take it slow and steady-focus on healthy habits lean meat lots of fruits and veggies and complex carbs-walk every day and you will get there - don't be discouraged take it one day at a time3
