What dirty food is everyone eating this weekend?
I think I'm formulating a plan for sloppy joes. I have a crap ton of red onions leftover from my bbq chicken salad adventure yesterday, and those will rock my socks off a pizza this weekend, too.3 -
ooo I have a healthy-ish sloppy joe recipe! It's a Martha Stewart one with turkey and shredded carrots (if you're inclined).2

Going to help my mother in law with some shopping this evening and she said she'd buy me dinner... She loves food to so it'll be a good adventure for sure! I may gently suggest sushi...2

Three bean chili, cornbread, and sorbet tonight! (I can't believe I lived nearly four decades without realizing how much awesomer chili becomes when paired with cornbread!)6

going to my favorite brunch place on sunday, i've been trying to bank my workout calories all week because:
it has a buffet including cheeses, smoked meats and fish (fish only for me), the most amazing potato salad ever made and tons of marinated and pickled vegetables
it has an omelette station
it has a dessert bar
it comes with an italian entree (and the eggplant parmigiana is incredible)
it features unlimited mimosas.
it's $35 on groupon too, so whenever the deal pops up we nab like 10 vouchers. and there's a bocce ball court but bocce probably burns less calories than walking the buffet.5 -
@jessiferrrb What IS this magical buffet?!?!?1

i'm glad you asked! *best infomercial voice*
it's this place called Bocce in Miami and for the life of me i don't know how they stay in business. and the staff is italian and seriously hot. it's like heaven in midtown.5 -

Sigh... Scale was not friendly to me this week so I am going to tighten up my logging and only have one drink this weekend. Poor me.4 -

My husband is smoking pork ribs tomorrow And baked potatoes. Yes, bacon and sour cream will be involved!5 -
Tonight we're having Subway, then tomorrow it's the remainder of the cheeseburger pie I made yesterday.
After that I have chicken to use up so it's chicken satay wraps and chicken pot pie, then for Valentine's I'm doing one of my hubby's favourite "English" meals of sausage, egg, chips (fries) and beans! (I'll make some mini cheesecakes and chocolate-dipped strawberries as well, just for a treat. I will be over my calorie allowance that day, and I care not.)
Oh, and right now I'm having TWO black bean quesadillas for lunch instead of one, just because I have enough calories for them...5 -

Just had bagel pizzas for dinner - yum3

That looks tasty! I have some tomato paste in the fridge that I was wondering what to do with...
What would you serve it with if you didn't want a bun? Rice or pasta, or just with some fries?3 -
@jessiferrrb OMG. I must go there one day. You are so lucky. You had me at cheese lol3

Hubby is taking me to Texas de Brazil tonight for an early Valentine's dinner. I've never been before. But I am definitely eating all the meats, side dishes, a glass of vino, and creme brulee.
Diet be damned!6 -

After reading all 21 pages in one sitting at work, this is DEFINITELY my new favorite thread. You guys are awesome!! A welcome relief from those who love to tell me that my Diet Dr. Pepper is going to kill me. Mark me as one of the eating what I want within reason tribe!!estherdragonbat wrote: »Three bean chili, cornbread, and sorbet tonight! I'm actually having white chicken chili right now for lunch but yes, cornbread with it is a requirement! The chili is made with heavy cream and cream cheese too. It's definitely clean.
Tonight we're having black bean and chicken enchiladas with LOTS of salsa and cheese. And I'll probably have sour cream on mine. Yummm.....fitoverfortymom wrote: »

Now I want cookies and ice cream too but it won't work with today's menu so I may be having that over the weekend.4 -
This post made me hungry5

Just found out in two weeks I might get to go to Vegas and visit my sister. Which means only ONE thing in my book: In-N-Out burger.
Not sure I'll splurge for the shake I usually get, but there is definitely a Double Double and fries with my name on it.6 -
Chinese is about to be ordered!6

<-- Contemplating Domino's pizza!!!3

I actually just like it in a pile on my plate! Maybe some thick pasta, like pappardelle, ragu style. But yeah, I usually do sweet potato fries (and a salad if I don't do a bun).2 -

That works too! When we have burgers I usually stir-fry some veg to have with mine instead of a bun, so I could do the same with this... Found some ground turkey on sale yesterday too, so this is definitely happening soon!4 -

Lol Well it's none of their business. So they can go ahead and complain to themselves. Reasons my diary is now private!
Seem you are trying to calm the wave of negativity by in turn throwing it back as loudly at them. I dunno....Yelling at someone telling them not to yell never seems to work. But I think the thread will fill your intentions.
Like the punk girls above said...diet agnostic for me. I don't care what you want to do, but don't go preaching "the only way..." sermon to me.
Cheers.
This is 100% why I started this thread.3 -
I had been struggling for a while with a MAJOR appetite increase. Better now but still not perfect. HOWEVER, it all be damned because my boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow, Valentine's day is Tuesday so we are probably going out Monday night (I have school Wednesday morning, so Tuesday night wouldn't be convenient). I have medical testing Thursday so I can't eat anything Wednesday so I figure wthell I may as well enjoy myself! Oh! & I just got a wii u fit Fun!3
