Allie, I worry that no property will be in your name and your credit will be limited if he is making the big loan payments. Although I do agree with both of you having separate accounts. I can't imagine what your stress level and B/P must be.

Can I ask what a knitted jumper for a man looks like?

Well I made it in the choir this morning. The special was one of those songs that is really 'special'. I know I would have really loved sitting in the congregation listening to it but I am a member of the choir and love every moment of it and I wanted to be singing it and not just with my practice CD in my car. The choir rarely gets a standing ovation but we did this morning. The way our Sunday service goes, we sing our choir special and then remain standing for the next hymn. Well that hymn was a long one. I was quivering in exhaustion while we left the choir loft to be seated in the congregation. I didn't stand for the last hymn. I could probably tried it but I knew there were several people who I needed to talk to after church and I needed to save my back. So I will see what the physical therapist tomorrow.

Janetr Well Cheerios makes a honey but cereal with bits of oats in it. Got it at the food bank, definitely not something I would buy for myself! There is added protein in it a guess... I think I might just eat it in 1 cup portions for a snack, not just for breakfast. Then I can pick out the clusters of oats! Hugs friend!

Becca, thanks I LOVE Honey Nut Cheerios and I could eat the whole box in a few days as snacks if I started. I haven't had cereal in ages though, too many carbs and I have to keep my carbs really low. Not easy when I love sweets.

    Love you back, <3<3<3

Hello everyone, so the weirdest thing just happened. I was driving home and suddenly a complete recipe for a vegetarian meatloaf formed in my mind. This happens to me often so in our household we jokingly refer to this as the dead vegetarian who speaks and/or cooks through me. It is in the oven now so I will let you know how it turns out.

    Rita Sending you peace
NYKaren Wow you showed restraint with portion control.
Betsy Good luck on your challenge, I would be up for that if you ever do it again. How long are you doing it for?
Mia Wow that is a win!
KarenLeona Hope you feel better :)
Karen You can really see Olivia's improvement, praying for those kidneys! <3<3<3

Tomorrow is weigh day and I am hoping to meet my challenge of losing 4 pounds in February. I would be at 207. Here's to hoping I make it.

    Have a great evening/night everyone :)

Janetr. I think I am a carboholic! I tried to change up my macros from 50% carbs,30% fat, and 20% protein to carbs being 20% but it freaked me out! I like my whole grain breads, wild rices, and whole wheat pastas! I think I eat protein because it just makes the veggies and carbs taste better. But actually I know I don't eat enough protein. It's hard for me to eat my 20% protein as it is.

Barbie, Sarah, Karen & Peach: Thanks for your sympathy about the horse. I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I don't know its name. I wasn't acquainted with the animal or its owner. I saw the poor old horse only one time, but it had human and equine friends at the stable who will miss it for a long time. I had a clear impression that the horse was stoic but in constant pain. Poor thing. I know my friend who owns the stable was heart-sore about the situation. We are all saddened when our fur children suffer. :broken_heart::heart:

Mia: CONGRATULATIONS! It is hard to travel and maintain your weight. WTG!!!

Heather: Doctor yourself. Drink plenty of liquids such as water ad tea. I hope you feel better soon. :flowerforyou:

Karen in VA: Olivia is a lovely little girl with wise eyes. I hope she will continue to do well.

I had all sorts of plans and goals for today, but DH is sleeping in his favorite chair and I'm reading a Sookie Stackhouse book. I think this is the very first book in the series. I read many of them several years ago but I don't think I've read this one before. Other than that, I've been doing a little laundry. I'm enjoying having a quiet day.

RE - thanks for the website for the swimwear.

Lenora - thanks for the Geek Guy website. Loved the pottery vids and the dancing. Fred Astaire always looks like dancing is as normal to him as walking. His dancing always looks natural.

Still catching up but the end is in sight! Wahoo!!!

I'm a glutton for punishment. The boys have two boys over visiting. These are the kids who got evicted and we haven't seen them for awhile. Their mom is still living in a van - the boys are now staying with their dad. These boys are very polite. The oldest (I think 11) always tells me that dinner is amazing! If that's the case they must be eating really poorly . . . LOL

I hate the color of my hair! Most of the front is white but the back is mostly mousey brown. Wish it would all go white but not looking like that will happen anytime soon and I'm almost 71. Had my hair cut and permed (loose curl) a couple of weeks ago. I was tired of wearing it in a ponytail and one of the attorneys at work whose hair I admired I found out permed her hair. I thought it was surely natural. So I finally had it done and love it. I'll post a pic soon. OK onward - 2 more pages and I'll be caught up!

    Accountability Post
Progress update of my Feb goals.
    Saturday's Progress
✔1. Track food/water daily and submit the completed entries in MFP.
    ✔2. No eating after 9pm.
    ✔3. Fiber 30g daily
    4. Walk 30 active Fitbit min daily.
    5. Declutter ✔️clothes, ✔books, papers, office supplies.
    6. In bed by midnight

I stayed up late watching tv for a little "me" quiet time. But... I wish I had gotten to bed by midnight. There's a reason I set that as a goal!

I only did 21 active Fitbit minutes. I got on our new BowFlex Max Trainer - but could only go 1.5 minutes. My legs felt like jelly and my heart rate was up for most of that! And I think it was on the easiest (least resistance) setting. But I'm still learning the machine. It's elliptical - and was easy on my arthritic knees. I'll be working on it daily to build up my stamina. I think March goals will include the elliptical. And... I haven't given up on the water aerobics class idea.
    Onward...

Allie - so all this time Tom was giving you $20 a week to spend he had over $900 to do with as he pleased? Well what the heck has he been doing with all that money if he is only saving $200? Seething here for you!!! What happens with your tax return if you get money back? One half is legally yours!

Kate UK – DH and I had ‘date night’ tonight, too, so exercise for me. Bummer; but, I don’t normally I don’t exercise on Sundays … it is a ‘rest day’ for me.

NYKAREN – OMG – Beautiful and the food looks absolutely ‘to die for’ … so much for counting calories while on vacation. Maybe you walked enough to make it all even out.
Don’t you wonder how they built all the buildings without the ‘fancy’ equipment we have now-a-days?

Allie – Sage advice? Here’s mine - Go talk to a ‘divorce’ attorney BEFORE you allow Tom to transfer all joint accounts into your name. He might as well have said, “Bend over and take it like I want it done!” Wanting to be fair? How’s that working for you? I’m not going to comment anymore; but, I can do something about that, too. Like the old saying goes, 'you can drag a horse to water; but, you can't make it drink it'. Is the Kool-Aid 'purple', to? Don't drink it!

Carol – None of my irises came up this year. I had some that were given to me by my BF that had been some her mother grew out in Arkansas and smuggled them in and out of Japan when they were stationed there. Beautiful old ones, bronze and gold. I am really upset that they did not come up. I guess, weather permitting, I will dig up the bulbs to make sure they haven’t been eaten by some sort of bug; or dig around to make sure they haven’t been chewed on by armadillos or rabbits, or something.

NYKAREN – Olivia is such a ‘pretty’ girl; looks very responsive in the picture.

Allie, my husband says your man is a dirty rotten pig. I notice in your last post you said the word 'we' in deciding what the next step is in determining money pay out. I hope you continue to think 'we' and not what 'he' says the payout on bills.

Well has everyone watched the giraffe being born?????? I noticed that the closer she got to actually giving birth that there were more and more giraffe heads popping in. I don't know if they are fellow female giraffes as part of the herd or what. I also liked it that her partner was kept in an adjoining stall. She walked around with those tiny legs just hanging out before she finally finished. She even sat down with those legs hanging out. OUCH!

It's a Hallmark kind of night so I can watch something nice instead of the Oscars. Well that is my opinion.

We watched a Mel Gibson movie - guns and all that, too! Glad we did not have any daughters! Sons are easier, you can keep them entertained better.

I would not have watched the freaking Oscars for anything. Don't think I will EVER watch another Awards Show (other than maybe the CMA - Country Music Awards). And can't wait until Monday night when the "Voice" comes back on.
