Is this a horror film? Or does it just seem scary because everything is scarier in German?

not only is it one of the best horror movies you'll ever see, but it's also one of the best movies you'll ever see too.

...... and, the book is even better than the movie.

Okay, but the book better not be in German.

We watched "It Stains the Sand Red" last night. Not nearly as good as "Coherence". Definitely requires you to buy right in but, if you do, it's decent enough and the lead does a exemplary job of her role. There are pacing issues as well and I think the movie could have ended easily 10 minutes sooner than it does but still worth a watch if you are an aficionado.

I think we have "Kuso" on deck for our next movie night.

Coherence was awesome. I will check it stains tha red. I really enjoyed "the invitation" similar budget as coherence but outstanding storytelling

I mentioned "The Invitation" to husband. He's the acquisitionist in the house. Thanks for the recommendation.

    Your profile pic is awesome.

About to watch "Tour de Pharmacy" before bed here. Looks funny as hell!

I believe it was originally published in Swedish.

Feast is a pretty good comedy horror

Yes it is! Plus Henry Rollins is in it. How can you go wrong?

On a similar note, I quite enjoyed "Splinter".

Henry Rollins is amazing. I have to check splinter out! but that reminds me of "Slither" another solid comedy horror

If you like Henry Rollins, run a google search on his home audio set up and his personal music collection.

The price of his speakers alone could purchase a condo in a midwestern city.

I bet. I saw a interview with him on Joe Rogan. Really motivating

Train to Busan was my last one. I'm generally more of a slow-burn horror type, but I do enjoy a good zombie flick.

I watched it. I thought it was kinda bad compared to the original version of the film, which I loved. They seem to sacrifice suspense for jump scares and shock value. *Yawn*

I don't think it was bad, I just personally prefer the original. I think it's probably because of when I first watched it and how much it scared me as a kid. I saw some 16+ year olds in the cinema who actually found it scary though so that made me happy. Gotta pass it on I suppose.

I recently saw Annabelle...and despite being a real fan of supernatural horror, ghosts, demons, etc...I was pretty disappointed.

You can do so much with demons...but this demon is just dumb. I mean really...what kind of nearly all powerful otherworldly monster wants to say BOO!?

And demons plz...don't go flexing your supernatural powers throwing people around rooms with telekinesis and then get outrun by little girls.

Me too, I watched Annabelle the following week of release. It was not scary, just tiny jump scare.

I watched The Hatred the other night. Don't bother. I don't think I've ever seen a horror movie where the protagonist is like "Ghosts? Screw this!" and just runs away to end the movie.

It was the worst movie of all the insidious films in my opinion. Annabelle creation was much better

The last horror film I saw that was truly 'scary' was the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Nothing too impressive since. The odd jump scare but nothing that gets under your skin. I remember watching the omen when I was younger, now that's horror. They just don't make films like that any more. The exorcist was another one. Stuff that makes you scared to turn your back :|

I loooove horror movies and my childhood I watched jeepers creepers almost every day! So cheesy, but my fave. Yes, I’m young! Only 19! Haha
