Rather than go back to sleep did cooking instead. I made some banana pudding and got another chicken ready to make more soup. The soup I made still had lots of favor even with minimal salt. I added fresh ginger and other spices to make it tasty. I felt better after eating it.
We are going to go in to Doctor to have them check blood pressure. When we get home it might be nap time.
DH on a low fiber diet for two weeks, so I am having to be creative to get the Vitamins from fruits and veggies into him. I think it is odd they let him eat meat but no veggies. Meat is very difficult to digest. I would think if he can eat hamburger why not veggies. If I cook them to texture of wet noodles okay. That is why soup is so good right now. My plan for dinner is chicken in coconut milk. Yum. I also have to watch the protein for him. Too much protein is hard on your kidneys too. (In his case kidney.)

HEATHER - returned from Dr he has referred me for an ultrasound which you would have thought the hospital would have done at the weekend (maybe because it was weekend and late at night) Anyway Dr says he is not convinced problem is gallbladder and has given me Buscopan and Omeprazole to try

My hair is trimmed - just half an inch and it looks better. I really like my young stylist who I have been going to for six years. We always have a nice catch up about kids etc.
I forgot to put the bacon in the ragu, but it still tasted fantastic. My secret is chicken livers. I have three to freeze. I cooked it in my forty year old pressure cooker. Love a "freezer bank".
Nothing on TV tonight, might watch "Behind the Candelabra" . My mum used to like Liberace, who was often on the TV when I was a child. She carefully explained what "homosexual" meant. I learnt a lot from my mum, who was obsessed with film/theatre stars etc. She had some serious failings as a mother, but also some excellent qualities. I was always encouraged to believe in myself and think big. I had a lot of female role models.

I've sort of quit posting my gym stats since they are so convoluted I can't remember what I did by the time I get home most days, but I'm going to give it a try today. I started with 15 minutes on the elliptical and then did 4 sets of a circuit, 20 reps each exercise.
Seated row, 50 lbs (tried 60 one set but the form wasn't there)
Goblet squat, 15 lbs
Curl with bar on pulley down low, 30 lbs
Leg extensions 40 lbs
Leg curls 30 lbs
Chest press, 15 lb dumbbells
Leg press, 35 lbs each side of bar
Fly machine, 30 lbs
Glute push down, machine set on 14, not sure what that means, maybe 140 lbs?
One arm row, 15 lbs
Standing lunge, no weight
5 minutes of cardio (I alternated elliptical and bicycle)
I was in the gym for two hours! Then I came home, walked 3 miles with Dave, then mowed down the monkey grass. Now I've had a shower and am resting in my recliner with my iPad and an iced coffee. I definitely made up for skipping the gym yesterday to sub.

Thanks Barbie,
I'm just getting back into fitness pal, it was nice that I had lost 6 lbs since the last time I was here.
My goals:
I will track daily.
I will drink at least 64 oz of water per day.
I will exercise at least twice a week during March.
Will go walk on the treadmill now.
Happy March everybody

Well, hope everyone is having a nice day. I shall continue to post, even though I guess many of you can't relate to me. Most of you were taught, if you don't have anything positive to say (type) don't say (type) anything at all. It's no worries, I have been one to not follow the norm. It is interesting to post daily, but there is no response. Its just something I have noticed is all. I have decided to not mention my hair journey, or anything nudist related, because it makes you all uncomfortable I am guessing. I can understand it truly. Maybe when I type about those things it sounds like I am trying to convert people, but that is never the case. Maybe I live more outside the box than most, but oh well.
Time to fix udon noodles, turkey broth, wasabi, spinach in a big bowl! Taking some applesauce to the donation place, so I won't be tempted to eat a cookie.

Kate - great idea getting the ultrasound and yes, you'd have thought the hospital would have done that first off. Good gravy. Hope whatever it is, you get relief soon and it doesn't interfere with your trip.
Welcome Nelly Marie! Everyone is glad you arrived safe and sound from your extended journey.
Lisa, thank you for posting your NM mini-vacation pictures. What a beautiful place.
Rita, Happy Belated Birthday! You are on my mind. TN sounds like a great place to end up if the RV thing falls through - I hope it doesn't since you had some nice visiting planned in warmer climates! But it's good to have a plan B. I was so lucky the past few times we moved, it seems I was working full time and DH took over with the clean-up, clean-out, arranging movers, etc. Now his health isn't that good and the next one may fall on me. He'll perk up when summer comes and hopefully I can encourage him to clean out his shop - sell things, take items to the dump, etc. He's a collector - I am too but not that bad and have been taking things to charity shops, giving to friends, etc. Hang in there, girly.
Carol, way to go on your weight loss!
Sarah - very impressive with your work-outs at the gym! You are the queen of planks, my dear. I was curious and managed 5 seconds last night. Hey, everyone has to start somewhere.
Heather, loved the photo of your son and his friends and the greyhounds. I hear they are very loving, affectionate dogs and I'm glad he's giving them a chance at a long and healthy life - they are good for each other. Nice he has other peeps and pups in his circle.
Katla, thankfully the weather is cooperating and DH can get that surgery overwith once and for all. What a relief - he'll be all healed up and you can resume your riding lessons!
Becca, keep us posted on the "No POO". Great idea and from what I've heard is super healthy for your hair and scalp. I knew a lady with gorgeous long hair (she kept it pinned up) who reportedly only washed it once a month. I no longer "wash daily" and "suds twice". Once or twice a week, one suds, a little conditioner and that's it unless it has actual DIRT in it from playing in the mud. Cute pony tail!
Barbie, thanks for the reminder about daylight savings time. Does it get earlier each year or just seem that way? If this weather was like April instead of January I'd be more enthused. Yes, it will mess up the early morning walks for a while!
Queene, Jolene, Allie, Pip, Cheri and those of you with work frustrations...like Barbie, it brings back memories of my final few years before retirement last August. My "filter" developed a gigantic hole toward the end - lucky I didn't get sacked I suppose but I really got along well with the engineers I was assigned to and they liked the sass. Yep, that's what it was, sass! HA!
Thing is, there were parts of my job I loved so much I would have done them for free (almost). And MOST of the people in my department and building were absolute gems. But I'd had my fill of a few tasks "thrust" upon me and had lost all patience with some of the staff I had to work closely with. I'm sure it showed.
So I took an "early out" the minute I was eligible for my pension and am waiting a bit, I hope, to draw SS. We made sure everything was paid off as much as possible and the "emergency" account was well-funded, so I turned in the paperwork, gave them 2 weeks notice and said adios.
My casual help job ended yesterday - I'm actually on "hiatus" and will go back of they get swamped for a day but no more regularly scheduled work days, and that's OK. So much stuff to do around home here (and outside if we can get rid of winter.)
To those of you not mentioned, way to go on your continued exercise routines and perseverance on your weight and health journeys and thank you for sharing with us.
Have a great rest of your Tuesday!
Lanette

DJ (#1) wrote "Janetr, congrats on the continued weight loss. Gosh I’d take some too."
Thanks so much, but to make it clear this is NOT additional weight loss, this is weight I had already gained when I started on MFP plus more added on while on our three month trip in the motor home, plus the three months stint on steroids so I was up way too many pounds. But I'm getting closer now to my lowest weight after surgery. I'll be happy to stay there

Margaret: take care of yourself! Today I just collapsed, mom had a complete turn, a miracle, even the doctors are amazed. She's in rehab, not sure of the future but we have today. AFter a week of stress and waiting at her side in the hospital, I couldn't move today. Had to take the day off. You need time too, the stress of care taking and updating people, never ending, breath. We need to meet for coffee and laughs!!❤️6

Hey everyone
KJ thanks for the elliptical advice. I was actually pushing so hard the other day that the whole machine tipped forward. Scared the crap out of me. Not sure if this is an NSV or a warning lol!
Lisa beautiful pics, the colour in the 2nd one is breathtaking!
Beth congrats on the loss
Rita just sent you a prayer
Cheri Thanks for the NS pointers, I enjoy these little pearls of wisdom, much appreciated
DJ very nice gesture with the "Meese" lol!
Lanette I started at 15 seconds so you can do it too!
Becca I am glad you said that. I feel not part of the group at times as well and then lots of people "talk" to me. I think that is the nature of a thread combined with so many posts and busy lives. I have never felt your posts were inappropriate or offensive in any way. I enjoy reading what you write. I don't always single out everyone every time because that would take forever but I do feel I try to eventually respond to everyone at some time and everyone here is my favourite!

*caution to treadmill and elliptical users* I have a friend that was on her elliptical at home and was "back pedaling" to work out a different set of muscles. Well, she fell backward off her machine yesterday and broke both of her wrists. She wasn't hanging on. Please hang on! She is now off work for a minimum of four weeks and can't use her hands. KJ (Kelly)
Don't Worry, Kelly... I am such a clutz I always, always hold onto the handles. I have a bit of a falling phobia (yep, falling off the curb sends my heartrate spiraling!) so I never put myself in a position where I am likely to fall.3 -

Becca, my Love...
I have been watching your hair journey with interest. Having very long hair - and very fine - I don't wash it every day - because it turns to straw. I was waiting to hear your no shampoo results. I have just been so busy that I am not posting back to anyone right now. Please, Dear - don't stop. I adore you and your outside the box influence on us. It reminds me of the Northwest - as it should. In this conservative land that I have adopted, your posts are a breath of fresh air. Not that there isn't a lot to be appreciated, here, in the Bible Belt - but, we West Coast girls can get a little lonely round these parts.
I mean, Becca - when I first started working here, I got written up for saying I was pi$sed off... I quickly learned to quote Marvin the Martian and say I was "very, very angry" but, it basically highlighted that I was a foreigner in a strange new land.
Please - keep on telling us of your adventures in the Wild West... no matter how odd.
Hugs!!

Forgot to mention a few things. Got a few end tables for the one bedroom. The thing we were constricted with was that they could be no wider than 20". We found 2 at a thrift store. Vince can't get over that they only cost $10 for both. I swear, I'm going to turn him into a thrift store buyer yet....lol He was looking at suits since he couldn't find a double breasted one for his Gomez Addams costume. Why he was looking for it, I don't know. It's not like he's going to be Gomez any time soon...lol I did find a shirt that I liked - not that I needed it.
At the Daytona I took a Boca burger on a sandwich round and used their mustard. I had some other snacks (I forget them), just check my diary for that day. We went to IHop for dinner and I got a vege egg white omlet. Then I added some snap peas with it.
When we went to dinner with our friends the first time, I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich without the bun or cheese and instead of fries I ordered snap peas. Boy, you get so little snap peas. Had one of the sweet potato fries of my friend, but I wasn't impressed, mainly because they were deep fried. Wonder what tomorrow will bring?
Laid out by the pool today. Too windy for me to go in the pool but there were some people in there. One time my timer didn't go off but I thought 30 minutes were up and I was right. I did find that listening to audiobooks (which reminds me that I need to charge my tablet) makes the time go by faster. I swear I should own stock in Coppertone! I'm always using sunscreen, here and at home
DJ - so glad you had such a good meeting. Newcomers is having their general meeting today and I'm sure Vince will be the treasurer again.
Kate - hope they find the cause of the problem
Been hard boiling eggs down here the regular way. Lexi seems to like the egg yolks better when I cook them this way rather than in the pressure cooker. Not sure what the difference is
Kate - you had me out of breath reading all you did today.
Becca - I honestly like reading about the nudist stuff. It's just a different way, something that I've never done and I'm learning so much. Your food sounds so delish. You do so much with what you get from the food bank I'm really impressed. There are lots of times when no one mentions my posts. But sometimes they do so that makes up for it.
Went to Wendy's and got a salad mainly because I wanted 2 packets of ranch dressing for Vince. They charged me 25 cents for the second package, but that was still cheaper than buying a bottle of dressing that I'd only have to take back. Also went to Hobby Lobby to get this smaller embroidery loom. They don't make the kind like I used to have. I did find out that even if I used it, as long as I have the cardboard that it was on and the sales receipt, I can return it if it doesn't work out for me. My hope is that I will be able to use it in the car tomorrow. I can use my old one so hopefully I will be able to use this one, only I'll have to move it more frequently. We shall see how it goes. With the larger one you need to put it on a hard surface like a floor to get the tension part in the plastic part.

Hi all,
Joyce - Happy belated birthday! Hope it was great!
I've been slacking on keeping up with the posts. Only through page 11 right now. I am composing the most wonderful responses to your messages in my mind as I quickly read along. I hope you are able to "read my thoughts" as there is no time to officially respond!

Hello, Darling Dames!
I have caught up on my reading between work tasks. I can't linger long - and as I mentioned to Becca - I just don't have the time I used to have - so I won't reply to everyone individually.
I do want to wish Rita a better day... I am thinking of you, Sweetie. Hugs!! All I can say is - this, too, shall pass.
My Physical Therapy is progressing... I can see improved strength in my legs - as I have graduated to the higher step in my Step-Ups and I have increased the weights on most of my exercises - even the dreaded clamshells.
Today - I did the Ball Bridges. I have no idea what they are really called - but they are killers.
Lie on your back. Place the backs of your heels on a largish ball. Lift butt off the mat (like a plank on your back) and pull the ball toward your butt with your heels. YIKES. I managed two sets of ten - and I did actually move the ball on every one - at least 6 inches - but MAN it's tough.
The only downside to all this is - I am starting to get bat-wings on my thighs... *sigh.*
I was doing clam-shells at home the other day (yes - I actually did some at home!) and I happened to be dressed as I do at home - which basically means not wearing very much. Not a nudist - but, a West Coast girl in a hot climate... I live in sports bras and shorts - and that's when I bother to get dressed.
I got to see my thighs up close and personal. They are definitely thinner... and the skin is hanging off of them in a less than delightful way... I am for SURE going to need that Lower Body Lift - unless a freaking miracle happens, I am going to sag everywhere...
I have actually taken a positive step toward that goal - in that I opened a savings account (one that DH is unaware of!) and have set up direct deposit from my paychecks. My annual raise is going directly into that account - to be left alone.
I haven't mentioned this to my DH - since he tends to spend every cent that falls into his hands. He will be blissfully unaware that there is a small sum building quietly in an interest bearing account - hence he will not be able to complain, or try to wheedle the money out of me for whatever momentary pleasure crosses his mind.
From now until I reach goal, those funds will just be growing...And I will sock away every birthday check from my Mom (yeah, she still sends them!) or any kind of found money in there. I figure it will be a costly experience - even if I decide to take one of those surgery vacations to India or Mexico - so the longer it gets to marinate, the better. And if, for whatever reason, I never have the surgery (new miracle skin shrinking drugs?) the funds will just be added to my retirement money. Since I plan on living forever, I will need every penny I can get.
Anyway - I do have to run. I have no idea what is for dinner tonight... probably some bad take-out food.
Hugs for Everybody!!

Becca: I do 90% of my typing on a word document that is open on my computer right beside this thread. I read the posts & comment on my word document, then eventually copy and paste the word document into the thread. It seems easiest to me & I like it. I sometimes comment to just one person, but rarely. Usually I comment to a few posts. You may be too young to remember Thumper the Rabbit in Bambi. His great lesson was this, "If you can't say somethin' nice, don't say nuthin' at all." Lots of times I don't comment because I can't think of anything to say, either nice or not so nice. I try to avoid actually saying not so nice things. I'm curious about your hair experiment. Do you have naturally curly hair? I had a friend in Junior High with naturally curly hair who used a rinse after she shampooed each time she washed her hair and another who used a rinse instead of shampoo. :flowerforyou:
Lanette: I've been taking the riding lessons weekly even though DH is in the process of having his cataract surgeries. He doesn't mind that. He worries that I'll get hurt if I ride alone and no one is there to help. On lesson days, there are a good number of people around. When I go in during the week, it is just Arrow and me. Those days I lunge him but don't ride. The owner of the stable is around so I'm not totally alone, but she is going about her everyday business and getting chores done. She's available nearby but not watching me to be sure I don't get hurt. :flowerforyou:
1776: I'm so glad your mom took a turn for the better.
Michelle: We have friends who moved to The Villages in Florida and love it there. They have been very happy. They bought a house in a neighborhood, made friends with the neighbors, and have an active social life. I wonder what it would be like to live in a city of seventy thousand seniors. I don't know if that is the actual population, but you get what I mean. It seems very different.
We are at the hotel near the surgery center and, with luck, tomorrow will be an easy and successful surgery for DH. Then he will be able to see, drive, and go on living a happy life. I'm praying that is how it will go.

Regarding the canned comments we can click on, I sure wish there was a selection more like Facebook's. Quite often, our posts share good news and bad news., so Insightful, Inspiring, Like or Awesome just don't seem to fit.
My dilemma is how log a reaction saying "I care" to someone's bad day or health problems when I don't have time to respond.

Becca, keep on posting. I love the wide variety of topics on this thread and just because yours aren't like a lot of others, doesn't mean we're not interested. Sometimes I think people are tired of hearing about me and dog walking, dancing, and riding the exercise bike, but I keep on posting. My personal objection to going without clothes is that I get too cold. I wear several layers year round, indoors and out.

(((Gayle)))
Gayle I agree. That is why I kept it short when people called. I thanked them for thinking of us. DH is on the mend. What happened in the hospital stayed in the hospital. It is now time for me to take care of me. That was my speech. That attitude helped. You could ask those who call to pass on info to others. If people press for more info on her status you could also site the HIPA law. LOL It might as well be good for something.
Love to see you once get past these two weeks. DH can't drive for two weeks. Blood pressure was good at doctors. Must have been the healing soup. LOL
I know how tough it is with your mom. The ups and downs are hard. It is hard to watch someone you love go through a tough time. I am glad you gave yourself a day off. I plan to get a better night sleep tonight. I already told DH he does not need to wake me up in the morning. I only did it because it is was his first day back from the hospital. I did get a good nap this afternoon too.
For dinner I cooked our veggies to the wet noodle stage. I then used the liquid to make DH"s minute rice. He is not permitted whole grain for two weeks. Those who don't like veggies it might be another way to incorporate the nutrients of the veggies into your diet. Could also be used in soups and gravies.
Lanette just respond as you are able. We had this discussion before and many of concluded this is a site to add as a support not as one more thing to do.
For myself this place sometimes becomes a place to collect my thoughts like Lenora. It is also helpful to me to hear how others are tackling difficult issues. It helps know I am not alone in working through my challenges. I also love this as a place to share those things we celebrate like pets, grandchildren, trips, and NSVs.
I prefer this site to Facebook becasue I feel I have gotten to know many of you here in more depth than Facebook. Your posts make me laugh, cry, smile, want to fight for those that are hurting., and take a break from my day. Thank you friends.

Still in hospital but making baby steps. Had BP problems last nite brought on my too much iv fluid. I felt like the Pillsbury dough boy. But am better tonite.
Becca- I noticed that also after I had done it several times. I think it has something to do with post on an iPad or smartphone.
Katla- sending prayers for successful surgery. I don't know if your DH is old enough for Medicare but if he is they will pay for one pair of glasses after cataract surgery. Or I should say, they did a few years ago. Just get a prescription from surgeon and find a provider who accepts it. Walmart did in our little town.

KJ – Sorry to hear about your friend; ouch that hurts, and so inconvenient. You won’t find me walking on my treadmill without holding on. Several years ago, I decided I would kick it up a number; had not been holding on, thought it would only go up 1 number like it does from zero through 25. It kicked up 5 points and I did that zzzzzzzzzzzzzz, kaboo! – just like the commercial Taylor Swift was in where she falls off backwards. I know 'it was a double'; but, Louis and I laughed hard every time it was on. I got penned between one of my dining room chairs with my wrist stuck on the belt. It took off several layers of skin and the only way to bandage it was to wrap gauze around it. Talk about ‘hard looks’ … it looked like I had tried to ‘slit my wrists’ and failed. I am just now getting the pigment back.
lsargood1211 – How to bookmark page. When you come to this month’s site, there is an outline of a star; click on it, it will turn yellow; then the next time just click on the gray star between the bell and gear and a dropdown list will show up for anything you might have bookmarked before. On the last day of the month, barbiecat will post a link to the next month, so you will have to bookmark it again, the same way. If you don’t follow the link, then your post won’t be seen by those already in the new month. When posting, you cannot go back a page, unless you ‘post’ your post; then you will have one hour to ‘edit’ it. After posting you can roll your cursor over the upper right-hand corner of the post and a dropdown screen will appear with how much time you can ‘edit’ it. A lot of us open up a word processing program and minimize both the WWP and MFP side-by-side and respond as we read; then we cut and paste it to the yellow box for new posting. You just need to make sure you are at the end of the posts. Don’t delete you WWP page, until after you have pasted it to the posting box. Occasionally, depending on the time of day and your location … it might take a few moments for it to actually post, especially if it is long.
Tell us something about you, preferred name to be called; location (general of specific), family, children, grandchildren, hobbies so that we can get to know you. Since we are mostly women, we feel free to say just about anything, we rant, rave, vent, encourage, suggest … like having each of us as a neighbor who has just come over with a hot cup of coffee.
Margaret – I do have the luxury of going back to bed in the AM. Louis wakes me up so I can have ‘fresh coffee’ with him; but, the other night I could not get to sleep, so he let me ‘sleep in’. I don’t even think I looked at the clock. He’d left me a couple of cups in a YETI. I need to try to see if they have a lid without a slit in it.
When I refer to ‘any’ of my family members the ‘D’ does not always mean “dear” either! I know a ‘lot’ of “D” words I can think to add to it (so if you ever see a DDDDD in front of the name, you know I am ‘really’ pissed! LOL!!!!!
Barbie – Sounds like you need to order one of those caps that has the lights in the bill of it.
Those with dogs that walk on a leash; my DOGD is ‘trying’ to get her 5- or 6-month old lab use to a leash since they just moved to a place without a fence. She pulls and runs and all that; has to be dragged, etc. She is a tad frustrated by her inability to get her walking on a leash without fighting. My sister told her that she had a real problem with her Brittany Spaniel and her coach (a retired Marine) told her to give her a little slack and if she started running, to turn around and run the other way as fast as she could; if she continued, to continue turning and running the opposite way. She got the dog so she could walk her ‘off a leash’ and they lived right on a very busy street in Miami. The main street as you cross over the Intercostal Waterway. I can’t remember the name of it. But heavy traffic and fast traffic.
Michele – Welcome Home!!!!! I found the few pounds I had lost 2 weeks ago, that I had lost the previous 2 weeks. She said the pizza did it … full of sodium. My dinner of chicken, 2 veggies, rice, and gravy was a better choice. I know she was right; but, Louis just insisted on having pizza. So I paid for it. UGH!
I used to wash my hair about every other day; now I go for 4 or 5 days without doing it. I think I have just lost that natural oil as I have gotten older and the gray in my hair is pretty course, too.
Becca – I don’t see you as wearing your heart on your sleeve … I think a lot of here think that when someone doesn’t respond (especially if directed to them) we feel a bit slighted. But, I’ve gotten over a lot that has been said or ‘suggested’. My heart is where it is supposed to be (usually in my throat).
You can PM me anytime you want … I love your posts … hair and sans the clothes as well. You always bring a smile to my face. I've been 'dough-popped' several times because I have 'said something' that someone hasn't liked. I do try to put a filter on my mouth; but, that isn't always easy; when you brain and your heart is saying otherwise.
Becca and Katla – Yeah, my Mother tried teaching me that lesson. I taught it to my sons; but, one loves ‘bringing his Drama to his Mama and leaving. I got him, all alone in a closed vehicle the other day and he ‘knew’ he had pissed me off. For him to say that ‘he is an @$$-O’ isn’t like him, I could hear someone in his life TELLING him that; … but she is ‘never’ wrong. I told him that ‘what they are going through is going to be hard on their marriage’ and he admitted that it was barely hanging on. I told him that maybe they should think about their ‘actions and reactions’ and how it affected the girls. I think he is afraid of being ‘alone’; but, more than anything I think he had been ‘beat down’ by someone that is supposedly ‘in love with him’. I don’t think so … I just think at this point, that they are doing way too much harm than good by staying together. I am not the least bit concerned that she has made comments on FB and to others, that ‘if’ I wanted to run her off with a stick, I’d do it. Hurt my child, hurt me and I don’t get over it very quickly. I’ve bitten my tongue because Louis is afraid if ‘we’ say anything, then they won’t let the girls come down here. That won’t last and I tell him that. Besides, they don’t come down here unless Taylor does. It might ‘hurt’ but, I consider the source.
Lanette – Yeah, sometimes I would like a ‘single middle finger sign’ to click on. I don’t ‘hate’ anybody; but, ‘not liking’ something or agreeing with it ought to be a ‘choice’.
Becca and Barbie – I pack the layers on, day or night, and winter or spring; but, I do sleep on top of a mattress pad warmer, so I sleep in the ‘nude’. Of course, I have 4 robes on the door for emergencies, too. What drives me absolutely nuts is that Louis will crank the AC/Heat up/down and by the time I get around to lunch time, I am either burning up or freezing.

I hate to post but must admit I only lost .5 lbs last week...not sure that even counts as a loss! I just not getting serious about eating better and posting. I do exercise 3 - 4 times (hour of cardio) a week but nothing compared to what I read from many of you with lists of squats and kettle bells! I am a wimp!
Thanks for the reply on the Vitamin D, I am getting back on and going to do 3000, 1500 morning and night because my husband reminded me that when I was on 5000 the doctor took me off because m level got too high!
Also looking forward to making the mint buttons...thanks for posting link!
Another confession... I am a high school teacher and have some girl scout students so guess what I did...you guessed it I got my boxes today! So I decided to give away 4 out of the 5 boxes...started on the 5th box tonight! Thin mints are my favorite in life...no will power at all! One sleeve is almost gone.
Last year when I was in better control and ordered them and told the girls to give to anyone they thought would want or give to any food pantry...but no control this year!
I am trying to post more and be better about writing names with responses...I hope I have not offended anyone...I know I have not been offended about anything everyone writes, quite the opposite...very interested!
Well hoping to have better news to report soon!
Have a great week!
