Lanette - I love the "feeding or fighting" poster. I printed it out. Thanks for sharing.
Janetr OKC2 -
Call me crazy but I love to see other people happy and succeeding .
Good Afternoon My Dear Friends,
Becca, I love the sign on that building.
Shana, the 50 is a guideline. We take youngsters as long as they don’t remind us of how young they are. LOL Welcome to a great group of ladies.
Ginger, Becca is a long time nudist and has taken her boys to the nuddie camp. See you should have been with us a year or so ago. Lol But you keep your eyes peeled if you like that sort of thing. (See, Becca, there are others among us.)
Renee, welcome. What a great story although I can’t imagine ever being into extreme exercise. Congrats on your success with the Paleo and on getting to the gym. I look forward to getting to know you and following your success.
Joyce, I too am interested in everyone and often don’t respond. I certainly don’t expect a response unless I ask a question. I hope no others feel less wanted or cared about because they don’t get responses.
Becca, don’t ya know that No Poo is how people end up with stopped up pipes??? *sorry I just couldn’t resist*
Lois, wonderful news about your husband’s health report.
Karen, so glad Olivia is improving. Thanks for the pic of that beautiful girl. What gorgeous eyes.
Gloria, Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, I saw you peeking in. Miss ya
Sarah, I just don’t know what to say. How in the world did those mean, nasty ole Kit Kats get in your house, much less in your mouth???? At least it doesn’t happen often. (((Hugs)))
Heather, so glad to hear you were writing again. I know you resist it so often so I think it’s a NSV. Keep it up.
Kate, so glad you are feeling better. When do you have your ultra sound?
Lanette, I’m having fun picturing a cartoon girl jumping puddles and she has your name on her rain hat. Lol I love the quote on eating.
Pip, Floyd was a cut pup too. But then I never saw a puppy I didn’t love.
Jolene, I’m LOL at the baby and the doll. Thanks for the laugh.
Yvonne, I grew up in Texas and never saw a Texan wearing a fanny pack. Tee hee hee Of course I moved away many years before they were invented but that has nothing to do with it. That is too funny that someone said that to you.
to any Newbies. Come often and join in the chat. This thing works!! Please sign your post with what you want to be called. It makes it easier for us to respond to you. Also a location is great, be it specific or general. We are happy to have you join us.
My allergies were really bad this morning. I woke up in the middle of the night with a sneezing fit, even. I would consider going to an allergy doctor but they want you off of all antihistamines for a week before the visit. I’m not sure I could take that right now.
Sending love, good thoughts and sunshine to all of you.
I Love you

Because I had a lot of calories left over tonight (an alcohol free day) I indulged in some fabulous dark chocolate with roasted hazelnuts. I consider myself blessed that I don't generally have a sweet tooth and certainly never crave sweet things. Strangely I do love Millionaire's Shortbread, but have it about once in two years. I do sometimes have a candy or a chocolate if DH is having them.
That doesn't mean that I don't crave other things. Cheese is a weakness, as is alcohol and I dare not have Whole Earth Crunchy Peanut Butter in the house. I have it when I go to visit the grandchildren. I am just very lucky that cakes, cookies, and most sweets, desserts, candies leave me cold. Both my children have the same savoury tastes, though I think my son has been influenced more recently by my DDIL. She is very disciplined, but she does love chocolate.
Recently I have rediscovered my love for tomato juice. I like it with Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. It is not calorie free however at 30 calories per 100 grammes. I also love carrot juice and have to discipline myself not to drink the whole bottle.
I always keep a Quest bar in my handbag, sometimes for months, and a packet of Extra Strong Mints. Just occasionally I go stupid on the mints, usually when I am very tired.
Love to all, Heather UK xxxxxxx5 -
Karen, that pic of Olivia is just the most precious thing. She looks like any other baby. She must be the favorite of the staff.
I am sitting here with tears running down my face. I mentioned a couple of days go about my two nephews and their addictions and how my parents deaths had such a positive influence in them in their recovery. Well I have been getting notifications on my face book memories. Today on this date in 2011 my nephew Matt who was a heroin addict came with his Dad to see Mom. He gave a fake excuse on why they had to leave early. We didn't know it because he needed a fix. But it was that day that stayed on his mind throughout these years on how he decieved his Grandma and how much it hurt him to do that. Of course at the time it didn't. Well he put notification on his face book page today that the judge has granted early probation for him because of how well he has done, he is graduating in May with the first step in addiction counseling, he is engaged, he has a wonderful job, has a job lined up after graduating where he will use this degree in the same rehab place he was sentenced to. He had something like 7 years probation but is now 100% free!!!!! That guy has changed so much and is continuing to and will be changing others lives. My other nephew who was alcoholic has been free for about 15 years and is very involved in AA and has had a huge influence in Matt's rehab. Alan put himself in rehab the day after we buried my Dad. He was so ashamed at how he was with Dad and how much of Dad's life he missed. My parents are crying just as muuch as I am in Heaven right now.
I ate carrot cake today. there, I said it.
Joyce, sunny wondeful Indiana12 -
I had an unfortunate occurrence last night. After exercising and eating well all day, 7 sticks of Kit Kat ended up in my mouth. Not all at the same time but in there nonetheless. This hasn't happened to me for a very long time. I know I am nervous to find out how my job is changing so that's probably it. Will do better today. Please give me heck Re lol!
Sarah, Ontario
Now Sarah... You KNOW that the Kit Kat only made you feel better for a short moment... and then the guilt set in, right? So HECK! Stop that, this instant~!
You are strong... you have the power... YOU ARE AWESOME!!!
You don't need that chocolate, do you?
Hugs!!

Accountability Post
March Goals
Tuesday's Progress
1. Carbs 50-75g (limit 25g/meal)
(B 8, L22, D56 = 96g)
✔2. Fiber 30g
✔3. Track/complete entry daily
✔4. Vegetables - big salad daily
5. Exercise - log 30 Fitbit minutes.
6. No eating after 9pm.
7. In bed by midnight.
8. Declutter: ✔Office Supplies, Electronics, Music, Craft Supplies, Cleaning Supplies, Utility Drawer, Utility Closet.
Stupid accountability! $&@/#%€!!! I want my d@mn check marks - but I'm going to have get busy and pay attention earlier in the day. Too side-tracked yesterday helping a friend out - and writing a long letter. Must plan better.
• Fiber. Yesterday - I tried too late in the day - to catch up my calories, fiber and balance my carbs.... ugh!!! Think I overdid it. My stomach was full. A stuffed bell pepper, .25 cup bean soup, big salad with avocado, tomato - dressing made with olive oil, vinegar and ground flaxseed. Oh! And Metamucil before the meal. Ugh! And of course - I'm behind on my water today. Double ugh!
Another issue I'll work to overcome: I didn't want both the stuffed bell pepper - but DH cooked it thinking it would be a healthy option for my plan... so I felt almost obliged to eat it. (Stupid... he would not have cared.) And it could've worked if I left off the beans.
Then... later after 9pm... I was putting away food and sampled some Mac/cheese and an oatmeal cookie.... on top of my already full belly. Argh!!! This is addiction. I think I felt like I screwed up my day so WTH. I shall persevere. And... work to plan better.
• Exercise Last night 10pm. I was tired. Belly was too full. Needed 10 more minutes. Did it. It didn't register on my Fitbit. Not sure why. Maybe I paused in the middle and had a break in time? Or... a problem with low battery on my Fitbit
Then... up late with a bellyache - drinking water. So missed my midnight curfew.
• Lesson: It's not just about the checkmarks. There will be an off day - and that's okay. Chalk it up and move forward. Ginger... Don't hurt yourself trying to rescue the checkmarks! Progress not perfection!
My belly is still feeling icky. But it could be the slice of whole wheat bread I had at lunch time. It was also over 25 carbs... Don't think I'll eat anything else today. Sip hot lemon water maybe.

LOL! Sarah! I hate when that happens. Maybe you need a food safe. I put something tempting in the safe - only I call it "time out". "Get in there and stay until you can behave yourself and quit jumping in my mouth."

Re - I'm a native Texan, but I still feel like an oddball outside my own circle of friends a lot of the time, especially when I'm not near Austin (which is its own separate thing). Do you know Philip and I actually had someone utter the words, "You're not from around here, are you?" to us at a gas station in Ozona? The weirdness that prompted it? Philip was wearing a fanny pack.
Made the roasted turmeric cauliflower soup again last night. It's just so good I wanted to get in one more batch before the weather gets too hot for soup.
-Yvonne in TX
Oh Yvonne;
A FANNY pack? LOL. My hubby wears them, too - but folks already know we aren't from around here...I mean anybody with a braid in his beard is clearly from outer space, right?
Don't get me wrong - I love Texas - but DANG folks are conservative, here... LOL.
And at our house, it's NEVER too hot for soup. We got air conditioning, you know... LOL
Sorry your Dad is being a pill.
Hugs!!

Hello everyone, I meant to post this earlier so I hope you are enjoying this special day!
Thank you to everyone who scolded me, laughed with me and offered sensible suggestions regarding my run in with the Kit Kats!
Karen, DJ, Re Love you gals and thanks for the good advice and kick in the butt.
Joyce what a beautiful story about Matt
I need to be more mindful of what gets in my house because that's the only way it will get in my mouth at home. I don't usually eat crap but I am having very strong cravings for unhealthy carbs. I am sure it is related to work. Tomorrow I tell my staff that I will be moving to a new job. It has worked out well finally and everything will be o.k., but there is a lot to do between now and June when I switch roles. I don't know why I am so nervous because this is actually a good story. I guess change is hard even if it is a positive one.
So my friends, if your post only got one reaction, chances are, it was me. That is how you will know that I have read and listened to you!
Take care. Sarah, Ontario5 -
Hello Lissome Lasses!
I am just doing a fly-by... having another busy day. Tomorrow, I have my follow up with the Ortho Doc. The knee has been in and out, up and down, fine and sore - so I think I will hit him up for the gel injections. About half the time, I think... I can let it ride... and then it hurts again. Yikes! So, if the side affects aren't too dire, I will suck it up and take the three weekly injections of the gel. (HATE NEEDLES!!!)
I did end up going to fast food dinner, yesterday. DH had thrown out a couple of options - which I dutifully researched so I would be prepared for what I could fit into my Calorie day - but, of course, completely changed the plan when I went home and picked him up...
So... We did our time at the gym, and then we ended up at Taco Cabana. I had NO idea what the calorie hit was going to be, but, I figured I had room for a thousand calories after my 30 minutes on the elliptical - so what the heck... I ordered the Beef Street Tacos (3 baby diced beef tacos) and the Guisada taco. I was pleasantly full and thrilled to discover that the calories for the whole meal were under 550 - even with salsa and salsa ranch. Whoot! I had enough calories left over to indulge - guilt free - on peanut M&M's. (Must have been something in the air, Ladies...) But, I have to tell you, there is nothing more satisfying that eating chocolate and knowing it fits in the macros... LOL.
SueBDew - Yes Dear - I did get your message - although not until late. I sent you a reply. I will probably give you a buzz, later, to see if they sprung you.
Heather - I am so jealous of your lack of a sweet tooth! If I wasn't a carboholic, I would probably have long since been at my goal weight... Cakes, cookies, and sweets - but even worse, Chips, Nuts and Bread - call my name when they are in the house. I REALLY try to keep them away from me, as I am not always strong.
Joyce - I am so happy that your Nephew is doing well.
Today I managed to get some beans and sausage in the crockpot - so dinner is bubbling merrily away and I can go home and relax. Thank goodness! I need to get my clamshells and stretches done! DH wants to start doing some light weights in the evenings - so I will be motivated to do my PT exercises while he does.
I am pretty sure a few extra wall squats won't hurt me...
Hugs for Everybody!!

My DH keeps buying lots of crap I don't need. He says he's buying it for my dear sweet mama (90) who lives with us. I tell him she doesn't need all of it either! She's small and loves her sweets... but come on. Ice cream, cinnamon rolls, cookies, cake, chocolate... I'm doing well to avoid it. So what's in my time-out vault?? Turkey bites! Go figure. I take out a serving size (6) - then spin the dial to reset it for another day. LOL!

Lanette, I have four pairs of expensive New Balance shoes---two are waterproof and two are not. The non-waterproof ones are for around the house and dance class. One of the waterproof pairs is high top (like a boot) and the other is a normal shoe. The waterproof ones have seen me through rain, snow, mud, and puddles. They are great for walking and my feet feel comfortable and supported.
Karen from VA, I love my blue tooth headphones. The ones I have are no longer available from Amazon but here is the link to the ones my husband bought
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZWNYF7E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The sound is good and you can answer phone calls while wearing them.
We line dance on Wednesday mornings in the bar at the VFW. There was a big poster on the wall about racing at Daytona and I thought about Michele every time the dance was facing the poster.

Gone over a bit on cals today and really missing the gym but really don't feel up to it, did some squats with KB and a few swings but feel tired.
DJ - who knows when I'll get ultrasound probably weeks.
In bed now just finished watching 2 episodes of Scandi drama 'Follow the Money' which I recorded, we watched the first series and love these Scandinavian series

Cooked carrots and onions then pureed and added to the spaghetti sauce. I used the veggie water and added some beet juice to cooking the noodles. Noodles came out a beautiful golden yellow. I know DH is on a low fiber easy to digest diet, but I feel strongly he needs the nutrients from the veggies to help in his recovery from the surgery. I notice I feel better since I had super charged our food. If I hadn't told you eating the sauce you would have never guessed I added those pureed veggies. It also helped to stretch the sauce. This helps because I use grass fed hamburger which is expensive. I also added the spices a few minutes before serving. Since he needs to have low sodium I figure added spices helps give it more zing. Sorry no picture. Maybe the next time I make it.

Re ... I am a carb addict also ... sigh ... struggling today with it.
We are having an incredible wind storm ... don't know that I've seen the winds so fierce ... not even during blizzards. Telephone poles snapping all around us, power outages, downed trees and lots of tree branches. My wooden pool fence has snapped a post and is falling over ... going to be a lot of clean up ahead.
So ... husband goes for preop doctors visit ... his A1C was slightly elevated and the doctor recommended he follow a "Korean" diet? Ever heard of that? All I can think of is an expose of North Korea and the horrible diets they were forced to endure ... like only 4 oz of chicken per family per month ... the poor people were starved!! Then the doctor told husband to slow down and plant a garden! Ok he's having a second back surgery ... hasn't been able to use a shovel in years! But I get his point.

It is just wonderful to come home to the dogs.. because at least they are happy to see me, Tom doesn't bother. not how was your day.. whats going on nothing...
Good Night dear friends3 -
Beth I glanced at Korean diet looks like lots of veggie and kimchi as their fermented food. From what I could see looks like a very healthy diet. Need to like veggies though.
Margaret2 -
Beth, best wishes to your hubby on his surgery. I looked at Korean Diet guidelines and they are what we should all be doing---more veggies, portion control, water instead of other beverages, more exercise, less oil, no sauces and dressings.

Paula Wow! That's a lot of snow. I remember when we were kids the snow would drift all the way up to the roof of the garage on the north side and we would dig in there and make a snow fort. It was so fun.
Katla Hope your husband's surgery went well!
Kate UK So glad you are feeling better. What an ordeal!
Marcelyn Sounds to me as if you are getting PLENTY of exercise, LOL!!!
Heather Thanks for the camaraderie about difficult communications with adult children. Of our three grown kids, only one communicates well. The other 2 we find out things from their spouses, other relatives, friends, etc. It is so aggravating but we. do. not. ask. unless we are sure it's okay to do so, and then in the most careful way. We didn't raise them that way. I had a great relationship with my mother, couldn't wait to find out what was going on in her life and tell her about mine. It is just so weird not to have that kind of relationship with 2 out of 3 of our adult kids. Katie is the most difficult of the 3 but right now she is forthcoming and we are so very grateful. Oh, and glad to hear you are working on your memoirs on and off. Thanks for the tip about the Ruth Galloway series, I think I will start reading that.
Yvonne Roasted turmeric cauliflower soup sounds extremely wonderful. Hope your pill of a dad is in less pain and less of a pain and that you could help. It's a curse and a blessing to have elderly parents. My dad died at the age of 59 and Mom at 76. They would be 94 and 92 if they were alive today. Hard to imagine.
Joyce Thank you for sharing the sweet story about your nephews. They have reinvented themselves. How inspiring that is! (and by the way, carrot cake is a weakness of mine but fortunately I am very very picky about it so I am usually able to resist by convincing myself that I will be disappointed in it).
Ginger You should give yourself a checkmark for using the food safe and another for insight.
Sarah Ontario Thanks for the Women's Day greeting! As for having foods in the house that are tempting, I agree with the idea that it is easier to say "no" once in the store than a hundred times at home. I just try not to buy stuff that calls to me unless I have a good plan for dealing with it, like repackaging it into serving sized portions and freezing them. I can't control what my partner brings in to the house but I have told her to just keep it out of my sight and she usually does that.
RE Good luck with those injections, I am sure they will make your knees feel much better.
Margaret The yellow noodles and spaghetti sauce sound wonderful.
Beth Goodness! I hope you don't have too much wind damage! Yikes!!
Allie Your dogs know a good thing when they see it. Too bad Tom doesn't. His loss.
Here is good news about OLIVIA: They have transferred her out of the NICU back to a private PEDS room at UCLA Santa Monica. She is back on oxygen, but is nursing and taking breastmilk through a bottle. Her kidney functions are finally improving, though not normal, and they don't think she will need any more dialysis. I can hardly dare to believe that last part. They are leaving the dialysis port in for now, but she hasn't had dialysis for well over a week now, and her kidney functions continue to improve every time they do lab work. Katie and/or Florent will be able to stay in Olivia's private room with her. Friends are continuing to provide meals and music and a local launchpad for them, since their house is 2.5 hours drive out in the desert. Thank you for all of your continued healing thoughts, reiki, prayers, good wishes. We believe it has made a big difference in the outcome for this little girl and we are grateful. Renee, I just finished reading your story. I missed it originallly. Although I admire your diligence with the Paleo diet, I might have looked for a gym that welcomed me as I was. I'm curious to hear the rest of the story when you go back. I'm also curious if the Paleo is helping with your osteoarthritis. I read extensively about it at the first of the year, but just can't convince myself to go all in.
Today we did a kettle bell routine, 3 sets of 15 reps each of 4 different moves, then some bicep and tricep work with dumbbells, 3 sets of 25 reps of 4 different exercises, then 3 sets of 50 calf raises 3 different ways, then 2 sets of 4 ab exercises on the mat. I walked 3 miles and did the grocery shopping.
I might have made an enemy at the gym today, but I don't care. I'm proud of myself for speaking up. The guy is a personal trainer who works with his clients in the same room where we have our class. He was playing music on his iPad, a rap song with very offensive language. I asked him, very politely, to turn the song off. He said, "I'll change the song, but I'm not turning off the music." I said, "music is fine if there are no bad words." He did change the song but he never apologized. I usually try to keep quiet about things like that, but after the 15th m--f---, I had enough.
Becca, I am also following your no-poo adventure with interest. My daughter has done something similar, but I confess I didn't really understand what she was doing. She has very curly, fairly long hair. I can't do it. My hair is very fine and straight. If I go more than a day without shampooing, the oil drives me crazy. The only time I could even do every other day was in the eighties when big hair was the style and I kept a perm in mine. The perm dried it out some.
No more time. Later, y'all.

All this talk 'bout chocolate making me a little cray-cray.
Karen: Continuing to send reiki to Olivia.
Katla: Hope all went well with DH's procedure.
Margaret: Prayers for your DH. Love the way you are fortifying his meals with vege purees. Brilliant!
The four-legged alarm (Mars, our leash-loving cat) is practicing for daylight savings time. He got me up at 4 AM today, a full hour ahead of when I usually get up to go to the gym. I really needed that sleep time Passed on exercising and went into my home office to get a head start on the massive backlog of work. Will crash early tonight.
Stay well, friends. We can do this.

Good evening Ladies!
I've been doing well with my eating and exercise, so well in fact that yesterday morning I decided to try on my size 4 "goal" pants and they fit, comfortably! Of course I had to wear them, made me smile all day,
Met with my friends last night, sort of a weekly coffee clatch. I bought along the chocolate cake I made for the non existent book club meeting and had budgeted a small slice. The scale moved down .8 lb, so i am learning that it is possible to enjoy the foods and sweets I love as long as I budget the calories and don't go overboard. I have been successful in social situations for the past month and have been rewarded with 9.5 lbs. lost since January. It encourages me to continue on this path.
Becca, I had heard about the "no poo" movement last year, however the way I heard it is that they gave up shampoo but used conditioner. I tried it over a weekend but could wrap my head around not using shampoo. Growing up we didn't use shampoo, only soap because that was all that we could afford and I vowed that when I grew up and had money I would use shampoo.
Speaking of hair, a very curious thing has happened to mine in the last 6 months. I have always had baby fine, poker straight, thin hair. All of a sudden I noticed, without using different products or changing styling techniques, that my hair has developed quite a nice curl. When it gets damp, like after exercising or caught in a drizzle, it gets delightfully curly at the ends. I am loving my new hair, after 60 years of disliking it. Has anyone else experienced this?
Love you all, even though I can respond to all of you,

About those of you who are finding yourself being assaulted by sinful little snacks and treats......been there many times and have the adipose tissue to prove it! I also find myself thinking - "If I go ahead and eat the whole bag, box, tube, etc. then it will be gone and it won't tempt me any more!" What the heck is that all about???? Anyone else do this?
Karen - Olivia is so lovely. Praying for her kidneys to kick in.
Margaret- Thinking of your husband as he recovers.
Katla- Ditto about your hubby and his eye surgery.
Allie - Hope the snow is not a problem for you. They are saying we may get snow on the weekend. When it snows here the world comes to a halt! We have a new director of schools from Baltimore and our first storm was on its way when he made the decision to keep schools open. Had to send students home early in the storm. Didn't learn his lesson and last week failed to delay the start of school when the city was hit with an outbreak of tornadoes at start time. I think these southern parents are up in arms.
Heather and Lanette - Thanks for the tip on the Griffiths books. I love mysteries like many of us here. If I'm not reading historical fiction, I have a mystery in my hands!
Hubby is trying to make a couple of changes that will help me feel less anxiety and distress. I have to say, I didn't think he would try but he is doing the best he can with it. I feel better and more hopeful things will improve.
Another worrisome thing has come up with us this month. The vet who has cared for out cats for 35 years suddenly retired. My kitty's records were transferred to a different vet. Even though Shirley is very healthy and we don't need the vet services often, this is worrying me. I don't like change. I'm thinking of dropping into the office so I can meet them and see how I feel about it. The vet there has a good reputation and it isn't too inconvenient.
Prayers, hugs, and hip, hip hoorays for those of you who need them.

The only time my husband has used shampoo on his hair in the past six years is when we go diving. The salt water just doesn't rinse out well and he starts to smell fishy. But when not diving he never uses shampoo and his hair is softer, has more body and looks better than when he was using shampoo. Me..... I lather and rinse twice sometimes.

Home from the newborn's home. Fixed chilean empanadas for dinner. They were a hit. Back there at 6 tomorrow morning. Makes for a llllooooooooooooong day.3 -
Margaret and Barbie ... thanks for the Korean diet information. It seems the Koreans who follow this diet live longer than most of us as well ... I will be doing more reading on this subject.
The winds are finally slowing down, but we're not expected to get electric back until Thursday mid-afternoon. We have a gas powered generator running for the moment, but we will turn it off tonight. Too much trouble checking on it every couple of hours. We will survive the night without power. I'll put ice blocks in the refrigerator. All will be well.
We needed to get more gas and the drive to a gas station with electric was interesting! Had to back track several times due to downed trees blocking the road and had to weave around downed electric lines and "duck" under one that caution tape was fluttering around on ... very odd feeling. Can only imagine what it's like in areas where tornadoes have touched down. TNToni ... were you affected by the recent tornadoes in your area?

Did 55 minutes of a Peak 10 DVD then walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes. The plan for tomorrow is to take the HIIT class. Originally, I wasn't but then I decided that I can do a DVD at home but I can't do this class at home so I'll take it while I can.
We went to see our friends. Had shrimp (and a bit of cocktail sauce which I'm not crazy about), some carrots, green peppers, celery, and broccoli. I did have some of this dip the guy made just to be nice. We went to dinner and I had the broiled chicken breast (boy, was it big, I brought half of it home, I'll probably have some of it in my salad), baked potato (just plain, nothing on it) and asparagus (I asked for it without the cheese sauce). I really should have gotten the broiled fish, but live and learn.
Re - I knew what exercise you were talking about. Works the hamstrings. when I exercise at home I just wear underwear and a sports bra that I wouldn't be caught out in. But no one sees me at home so even tho one of the seams is starting to come apart and its very gray, no one sees me so I really don't care
Want to make this a bit short since Designated Survivor is on in an hour.
katla - I remember a few years ago (well, quite a few) I was down here helping my in-laws and there were times when I actually looked forward to going food shopping so that I would be with younger people! Now I don't feel that way, people are so nice down here and friendly. Will be thinking of your dh tomorrow
Cathy - frozen Thin Mints with a tall glass of cold milk.......I think I died and went to heaven
Welcome everyone new!
DJ - when we went to see our friends in Palm Coast, you could see restaurants and other places getting ready for bike week
Becca - Joyce said what's in my heart.
KJ - your dinner sounds delish
Yvonne - (((HUGS)))
Loved all the pictures
Joyce - how wonderful for everyone!
The other day Kit Kat or Reese Pieces were on sale at CVS. I decided to get the Reeses for the soup kitchen because I was afraid that those Kit Kats just might wind up in my stomach
Re- good luck at the orthos
Karen in VA - great news about Olivia. She is such a real sweetie
Toni - I would absolutely drop in on that vet before you really need him/her
Michele from NC who really doesn't want to go back
