When I lived in Boston, I got asked to repeat things a lot. ha Not always for amusement sake, but because people didn't understand me.
Apparently the way I say "ice" in my Southern accent sounds like "*kitten*" to them.3 -

Haha yeah, it's an harsh language but a beautiful one and a really, really old one. I can understand everything I just read and it was written in by Snorri Sturluson in the 12th century

I live in Rhode Island and when I meet someone new they know almost immediately I am not from New England originally.
