I have been wondering about audio files on here for a bit. I'm new so I don't know about what "the good old days" that people keep referencing were like, its all new to me and fun.

I do know that I often forget about the permanence of posting here, with a naivety that is probably somewhat unbecoming, like I'm talking to myself, oops...oh well!

I was raised in Virginia Beach and was told by a bunch of SoCal people I have an accent, but I didn't think there was an accent for that area.

From the short snippet, there isn't much. I hear a hint of something, but I'd be hard pressed to identify without a hint and SoCal people DO have a regional dialect that IS noticeable, so, I'm siding with your assessment. If it ever comes up again, you can cite me as a reference as "some guy online, but is, like, super smart and knows things"
