    like I figure you'd play as a warforged most likely. I can't picture a class for you. but I think you could roleplay a robotic construct really well.

    Warforged are pretty dang cool, but at the moment I'm playing a halfling College of Lore bard. He's wonderful and I love him- kind of a Bilbo Baggins meets Tyrion Lannister type

    I played a one shot as a gnome Artificer recently- that was super fun too. The unearthed arcana stuff is pretty cool.

    Also, have you heard of HarmonQuest? It's the guy who makes Rick and Morty but playing D&D with his friends and a special guest every episode. They also animate most of the quest.

    by outside do you mean in a dungeon? :lol:

    is there like one overarching game that all D&D folk play or is it a concept with many different versions.

    is there like one overarcing game that all D&D folk play or is it a concept with many different versions.

    So there's an overarching rule set/guidelines/game mechanic/character creation stuff and there are prewritten adventures you can use, but it's also entirely common to create your own custom adventure also.

    I haven't had an RPG group since my Serenity group fell apart a few years ago. And I always wanted to get back to D&D. But I have rules to learn. And want a double bladed kitchen knife. +2 against poultry.
