Feeling pretty foggy today and have an intense migraine happening right now. Not sure if it's lack of sugar/carbs or cutting the coffee today (probably the combo of both). I'd love hear any natural headache remedies my fellow lo-carbers may have!
Forgot to mention! Finally hit the scale today and lost 5lbs so far
Oh hey, also for helping with the coffee quit, there is a drink called Hint Water and if you get the Hint Kick it has no calories and some caffeine in it!1 -

Hey I am in!
My goal is to lose 15-20lbs in the next 60 days max.
I stared Wed the 10th unintentionally and I decided thursday to go all in.
and my carb intake daily has been 45g today, 99 yesterday and 54 the day prior. It is a slow start as i am learning how to start my days out to end correctly. Today my marco etc % were on point. I have already lost weight. I dont weigh myself but the pants that i tried wearing a couple weeks ago fit very comfortably today and my body ahdnt had any changes until this week.3 -

Thank you! That makes me feel better that I'm not the only one experiencing the keto flu. I totally agree about electrolytes! I am definitely going to check out the Powerade zero and Hint Kick for when I need caffeine! Thanks for the suggestions!

Littlecrunchy, I love your new pet! He's adorable! Also, I agree with you about a Carb Up day. It will knock you out of Ketosis, and your goal is to become fat adapted, so you need to stay in Ketosis.

Yesterday was not good. Spent most of the day between a urgent care and ER with a sick child. I ate like I shouldn't have but was leaning on the mercy of others for food. I hope I'm not kicked out... I am back on 100% today. It's been rough since Friday. I had over 100 carbs yesterday...2

I did not log my food all weekend but I was on point staying away from carbs despite TONS of temptation in the way of beers and desserts. I need to make a point on weekends to get more veggies into my meals, during the week it is easier since I bring a salad to work for lunch. I also started a new workout program on Saturday and the DOMS are strong in my legs today, was a struggle walking to my office from the train.3

I forgot to post last night was 47 net carbs. Not bad considering we went Chinese buffet last night.2 -

Totally fell off of the wagon over the weekend. Well over 50 carbs, I imagine, for both Sat and Sun . I had a visitor in town, and ended up drinking too much and eating too much. My food was actually pretty well in check, but sugary cocktails at restaurants definitely knocked me out of ketosis (up 3 lbs since Friday morning). I am hoping it's mostly water weight and will fall back off over the next few days.
We don't have any more visitors until June (and then, it's my husband's friend, so I will likely be on childcare duty so that they can go out), so I am going hardcore until then.1 -

QUESTION: For the first time in 15 days I gained weight! I don't want to record this! Is it wrong of me to just keep going and record my weight when next there is a drop?
I was very active this weekend and didn't eat bad AT ALL, seriously, check my diary.0 -

Weight loss isn't linear. Fluctuations are normal. If you don't want to log it, you don't have to. However, I tend to think that the more data you have the better. You may just be retaining water due to monthly hormonal fluctuations, salt, constipation, or any number of other reasons. I recommend that you set up an account on trendweight.com or some other similar website, which will track you're trending weight and show you what the trend is without all of the fluctuation.
It's irritating when your weight goes up after following all of the "rules". But it happens to everyone. Don't let it get you down!

Is anyone dealing with nausea? I've had it since Friday. It's just a constant thing that doesn't go away.1

5/15 - Total carbs = 27, Net carbs = 22, 12 glasses water. Over my calorie goal...I tried a new recipe for dessert because I was CRAVING something sweet. It blew me out of the water...it was good though.5

So I had an awful day. TMI ALERT.
I didn't tell you guys but I had a surgery last Tuesday and I was put under anesthesia and have been taking meds daily. Well in addition to that AND keto diet my digestion has completely been blocked off. So today I have literally eaten less than 250 cals 31 net carbs and not eating anymore cause I feel like throwing up just the thought of food. I have not gone properly to the bathroom for 6 days now and have massive migraines. I've been taking a lax since yesterday with nothing helping.
Anyone else suffering from not going to the bathroom??

39 net carbs would be under ten but I had a banana in the morning I forgot they have 30 grams each. I stayed 100% keto all weekend tho, first time in a while, trying to go all 30 days.3 -

Went on a long hike today and rewarded myself with a burrito in order to keep from being way under calories. Didn't realize just how many carbs are in the wraps though, so I def won't be making that mistake again. Next time I'll opt for an avocado.1 -
Sabotaged by the husband! He brought me a cup of Mint cookies and cream ice cream! I'm weak. I couldn't resist.
