In our last (JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS) Round 3, we still saw some significant changes in weight loss as we logged the good with the not so good days! We added a few more followers and found it nice to encourage others along the way! We are learning every day what works and what doesn't on this journey! It's so great to have short term goals and to break up our long term goals in smaller increments so it doesn't always seem so overwhelming.
So Starting on May13 to May22 - JUST GIVE ME 10 DAYS, will begin Round 4 -Lets see what more we can as we reach a total of 40 days consecutively!
Anyone else game?
Weigh yourself everyday? Controversial you may say? Well for me personally, checking the scale can be motivating. I read in a study of 3,500 people who maintained 60 or more pounds of weight loss for at least a year, researchers from the National Weight Control Registry found that 44 percent weighed themselves every day. Another study in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that overweight people are six times more likely to lose weight if they weigh themselves at least once a day. I don't about you, but it helps me and motivates me to keep going or to tweak what I did the day before. I never weigh more than just once in the morning. Our weight fluctuates constantly throughout the day with what we drink and consume, so only make it a 'once a day' rule for sanity sake.
Let's give it our best 10 days ever for an inspirational jump start to Spring and Summer!
Here is what to do: Post your daily weight and add little comments along the way of how your day went. Post everyday to let us know how you're doing! Copy and paste the days in your response--tell us how much you lost and other non scale victories (NSV) you'd like to share.

I'm in again!! This will take me almost right up until we leave on a cruise to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. I'm hoping to be down 20lbs from my early March starting weight by then...2

Beginning weight from previous challenge: 207.0 lbs.
05/13: 207.8 lbs. Yesterday was gym day with heavy lifting. Slight increase is likely due to water weight. This is typical for me.

Coming from round 3 finishing at 166.2lbs (which was up a bit due to what I'm assuming are some messed up Peri-menopausal hormones that are throwing me curve balls this month)
05/13 - 165.8 lbs at least it's down a smidge again, seems to be back and forth the same half a pound the last few days.
