6/11 I'm in again.
Woke up at 150.4 today thanks to too many carbs and beers while camping.
Let's see what round 7 brings. Nothing but the best.
06/12 149.4 OK, some water weight gone. Under on carbs and cals. 30 on elliptical. Still 1.4# over from when I started round 6. Gain so easy, lose so slow, that's the story of my yoyo. LOL My goal for this round is to get in the 147's.
06/13 148.8 Yahooooo. 35 Elliptical (interval), trained, made cabbage soup to get me back on track.
06/14 147.5 Yes!!! Did 30 on elliptical, an hour of water aerobics, ate clean. 1/2 more pound off and I'm halfway to my goal weight of 132. I am soooo stoked. It's been slow, with ups and downs, but it's happening.

6/13: 199.6lbs Drank lots of water yesterday and also did my first day of Insanity. Not taking a diuretic or laxatives but finally getting a break through. Hopefully, my progress will continue but to reach the 10 day goal already, I may not be able to get my body to lose more. But day two of Insanity is later this evening.
6/14: 199.6lbs A good day yesterday for diet and exercise, second day of Insanity completed. No movement on the scale but that's okay. I'm hoping to have lost something in my measurements by the end of the week. More than anything, I'm just happy my weight is staying down and not going up lol. I did have a late night snack of about 2 cups of cherries so good thing they did not effect me.

Just 10 days...
06/12 Today I went to the doctor and weight 124 lbs. I would like to lose about 6 lbs to lean myself out. Today I worked out for about 60 minutes and ate clean. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as easy as today.
06/13 weighed 123 lbs from this morning, just bought a new scale so I'm not sure if it's completely accurate but to say the least I tried very hard yesterday to eat clean and exercise. Today I will work on continuing to eat clean but most importantly exercise and drink more water today.
06/14 weighted 122.8 this morning. I felt so horrible yesterday, I think was the symptoms from detoxing all the sugar. I had a headache and it continued today. I drank a lot of water yesterday more than usual and I'll continue to do that today and eat more.

I would like to join. I am in this challenge for the first time also. I have a lot of weight to lose. I am a widow - live alone, no one to report to or keep me accountable so I tend to fall off the diet plan very easily.

06/13 263.2 went on a road trip with my sister ate a fast food burger place and was in the car all day no exercise
06/14 263.4 well I deserve that gain back on track hope yesterdays indulgence doesn't appear again tomorrow Today I am trying to do Intermittent fasting 16 fasting/ 8 eating so two meals and snacks losing breakfast

06/11 144.0 this was my end of round 6 weigh in! I'm staying with my paleo eating and giving up grains, legumes and sugar! I'm feeling great and hoping to make some significant lifetime changes.
06/12 144.0 I am still on my paleo eating with no sugars, legumes, or grains. This leaves me with meat, fish, fowl, and eggs, vegetables, macadamia nuts, moderate amounts of coffee, high-fat dairy products, locally grown, in-season fruits, other nuts and seeds, certain fats and oils, supplemental carbs for mega-calorie burn days (starchy tuber vegetables, quinoa, wild rice), and sensible indulgences of red wine and dark chocolate. The entire point of eating is to get the nutrients your body needs to thrive! This is my plan and I'm gonna try to stay with it!
06/13 143.5 yay...blood works came back from doctor today and all was just about perfect with exception of my BMI. It was a little night, but I wasn't shocked because my weight has been up too. Nice it was down today.

06/14 - 173.8 < Walked home from work last night. Dinner out tonight and driving over an hour to get there. That combinations is detrimental to my goals. Will see what happens, ugggh

This is the first time I'm in on this challenge. I weigh myself everyday and I find it fascinating. I'm hoping this accountability will help me in my weight loss.
06/12--229.4 Starting weight included some water weight I gained after eating out the day before, so today's weight takes into account losing some of that water weight.
06/13--228.3 Rest of the water weight. Also did my weightlifting and stayed on track with my food.
06/14--228.6 Ate well yesterday and met my exercise goals. Normal daily fluctuations. Overall trend is still downward.

Family came into town so I fell off for 2 weeks. Ate crappy but due to lots of walking managed to still lose 2 lbs. I was 134.8 but im creeping up again due too my taste buds being hijacked by all the fast food. Time to get back to the grind.3 -

06/14 - 192.2lbs wow feeling inspired and did another 30mins on the elliptical today!! this is very strange and matches the number of times I had exercised in the last 3 weeks, but it could be guilt. Had a tasty strawberry tart yesterday and some wine, but was well behaved enough to log it on MFP.

06/12 - 205.9. Yesterday was the first day that I've tracked my calories using MFP. I did pretty well, had about 150 calories to spare. I'm not following any specific diet, just eating what I would normally eat, which is a vegetarian diet, and watching my portion sizes, making sure to measure when needed. Today's weight is actually 3 ounces more than yesterday's weight. Hopefully it will start going in the opposite direction by the end of this 10-day challenge. Oh, and I exercised today. I did a beginners step aerobics dvd.
06/13 - 205.7. Down 2 ounces. Yay for the downward trend! Today I had a crappy day at work and I ate more chocolate than I should have. Stress is a food trigger for me and I need to keep that in mind and make a point to change my behavior (turning to food) next time. I logged all of my meals today using the MFP app. No exercise today. I'm going to attempt to get up at 5:15 am tomorrow and do step aerobics before work. We'll see how that goes.
06/14 - 205.8. Not the direction I was hoping for. I know from past experience with weighing myself every day that my weight fluctuates up and down during the week. On a good note, I did get myself out of bed at 5:15 am and worked out.4 -

This is my 3rd block of 10 days. A little public accountability is not a bad thing at all. That, plus seeing how others are doing, is motivating for me. As it happens I do weigh myself every day (almost) and take measurements on Mondays. My scale is a digital one that logs to the half pound.
When I came back to MFP 8 1/2 weeks ago I weighed 300 lbs. I've weighed myself almost every day, taken measurements every Monday, and recorded my food & exercise every day. I'm also keeping track of days since I last had alcohol, since I know only too well that drinking (besides being empty calories) always leads to eating that has nothing to do with being hungry.
I didn't do as well as I had hoped to in the first 10 day challenge. I did better in the second 10 days.

06/12 - 211, Did Charlene Extreme Push 2 and walked for 60 Min with a total step count around 14k, total 1128 calories for the day 73 carbs, 30 fat, 163 protein.
06/13 - 213.8 - Walked for 60 Min with a total step count around 16k, also did a weight class. total 1199 calories for the day 115 carbs, 27 fat, 146 protein. The scale went up again!!!! but I am rocking it at my class first time I've been able to do that many push ups EVER. Here is to hoping tomorrow I wake up 2.8 lbs lighter lol
06/14 - 211.5 - Closer to that starting weight!!!! Did C25K and yoga ended about 17k steps. Total calories 1222, 83 carbs, 23 fat, 189 protein

HOLY COW! I was so excited to log in and write this morning! Successes--I've been putting in at a calorie deficite pretty much every single day and when I'm not formally exercising I'm at least staying active. Failures--well I bought a bunch of pastries from my favorite French shop this weekend and chowed down so I had to work out hardcore just to burn them off.
Hoping this pound stays off and it's not a fluke! *fingers crossed*

I think this is one of those random dips in weight after coming off of a plateau for what seemed like forever. Also I've cut out a lot of dairy from my diet as it was a major source of excess calories.

I'm a little disappointed in myself. I maintained my weight Friday and Saturday (weekends are usually hard for me to eat within calories). Then last night was just a free for all. I went 1100 calories over for the day and it shows on the scale this morning. I've never weighed myself on a Monday. Back at it today though. Workout planned at 8:00!!

Good day for exercise, bad day for food. I was around 700 calories over my 1200 net goal. To be exact, I was 3 full calorie beers, 1 m&m cookie and 1 serving of potato chips over I'm hoping it doesn't catch up to me tomorrow because I have to weigh in for my biggest loser group.

My highest weight was 300 in January 2014. I started my Fitness Pal and got down to 258 in February 2015. In June 2015, my mom moved in for 24 hour care. My whole mind set was changed, no longer did I need to lose weight, I needed to take care of my mom. Needless to say my weight climbed back up. I have been bouncing back and forth between 275 and 285. In March of this year, at doctor's, I was at 282. She recommended myfitnesspal. I am loving it. Slow going, but the weight is coming off in-spite the trials we are going through now. Husband being diagnosed with colon cancer, and me with type 2 diabetes. Doctor said lose another 10-20 lbs and I'll be in a safer zone. Gives me a whole new motivation.
