    Volunteer: working as a teacher's assistant at an elementary school.
    Paid: cleaning the facilities at a local marina.
    Current: working in a frozen yogurt shop, where I get complimentary froyo every day :-)

    One of the sponsors of a pageant I was in during high school sought me out after the show to work in their restaurant. It was family owned and both their daughters took turns running it and were in one and two grades older than me at the same high school. The owners wanted a local "celebrity" so to speak and the girls being athletes had some limited knowledge of my work ethic as observing me at after school cheer practices and approved me. It was a fun job and I learned a lot about how to get along with different types of people and how not to judge athletes or feel judged by them and I think it set me on a good path for working well with others. It was a yummy job too. Did I forget to mention they wanted me in the front all the time and gave me free food too? Oh and it was a mexican place so yeah, free carne asada burritos everytime I show up? Where do I sign?

    ETA: OMG I can literally taste the burritos right now! Good memories, thanks for this post.

    I worked at a computer lab fixing computers and moderating it so students didn't look at porn or do anything illegal.

    Volunteer... I've been tutoring since I was 13. ;)

    My 16th Birthday I started working at Cinnabon. I had struggled with my weight before that but then I really started to plump up. Should have known it was going to happen. LOL

    Aside from being my mother's receptionist / assistant at her run-from-home businesses, which turned into me running them at one point because she fell ill and my just above minimum wage (by a whole quarter an hour!) drug store register drone job, which began at around 13, the first one was a receptionist at a hair salon. They illegally fired me because I didn't have a car and couldn't run errands and tried to hire me back, but I had already gotten the aforementioned register drone job at the drug store.
